Faction Engineering and Maintenance Bays:

Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
To the right of the military checkpoint after Dock 4 lies the Engineering and Maintenance Bays, high-security areas dedicated to the upkeep and enhancement of military equipment and spacecraft.

The entrance is marked by a wide, reinforced door equipped with biometric scanners and passcode entries. Security personnel are stationed at the entrance, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access these critical facilities. The area is monitored by high-tech surveillance systems, emphasizing the importance and sensitivity of the work conducted within.

Upon entering the Engineering Bay, you are greeted by a vast, open space filled with advanced machinery and workstations. The air hums with the sound of high-tech equipment, and the walls are lined with an array of tools and diagnostic devices. Large holographic displays provide real-time data and schematics for various projects.

Workstations are arranged in neat rows, each equipped with cutting-edge computers and holographic interfaces. Engineers and technicians, dressed in protective gear, can be seen meticulously working on various pieces of military equipment. From fine-tuning weapon systems to developing new technological enhancements, the atmosphere is one of focused innovation and precision.

Connected to the Engineering Bay, the Maintenance Bay is an equally expansive area designed to accommodate the repair and servicing of spacecraft and large military vehicles. The ceiling is high, allowing for the use of cranes and other heavy-lifting equipment to move massive components and vehicles.

Several spacecraft and armored vehicles are positioned on platforms, surrounded by scaffolding and work lights. Technicians and mechanics move about efficiently, conducting repairs and routine maintenance. The air smells faintly of lubricants and welding fumes, a testament to the hands-on, mechanical nature of the work being performed.

Within the Maintenance Bay, there are specialized areas dedicated to different types of maintenance tasks. A section for avionics and electronics is filled with delicate instruments and components, where experts carefully calibrate and repair advanced systems. Another area, dedicated to propulsion and engines, is equipped with large diagnostic machines and testing rigs, ensuring that every engine performs at peak efficiency.

Adjacent to the main bays, a secure storage area holds a vast inventory of spare parts and raw materials. Shelves and racks are meticulously organized, ensuring that any required component can be quickly located and retrieved. This area is managed by an advanced inventory system that tracks the availability and usage of each item, ensuring a constant supply of essential parts.

Overlooking both the Engineering and Maintenance Bays, a raised command center provides a comprehensive view of the entire operation. This area is equipped with large screens and control panels, allowing supervisors to monitor progress, coordinate tasks, and respond to any issues in real-time. The command center ensures that all activities are synchronized and that any challenges are swiftly addressed.

The overall atmosphere in the Engineering and Maintenance Bays is one of intense activity and meticulous care. The combination of high-tech equipment and skilled personnel ensures that every piece of military hardware is maintained to the highest standards. The lighting is bright and functional, providing clear visibility for detailed work, while the layout is designed for optimal workflow and efficiency.

In these high-security areas, the Lilaste Order's commitment to technological excellence and operational readiness is evident. The Engineering and Maintenance Bays are critical to maintaining the strength and effectiveness of the Order's military capabilities, ensuring that they are always prepared for any challenge.

Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto had made his way from the Stations CIC and towards the engineering bay that the stations tractor beams had pulled the ship of High General Silas Vizsla Silas Vizsla into. Upon seeing the man disembark laphisto held his left hand out to give the man a hand shake with a small warm smile stretched along his maw.

" General. It has been some time I was about to start sending a search party after you here soon. After you missed your last check in."

As the ship landed several of the stations flight deck and engineers began to run diagnostics and immediately began to set to repairing the ship as well as giving her a nice polish to clean up the dirt and debris that might have gotten stuck to the hull on her journey.

"Since your back it means one of two things. Did you find the Tracyn?" Laphisto's voice had a smidge of determination in as his arms crossed over his chest

Ali Kare

High Admiral of the Lilaste Order
A buzz of her comlink, and Ali was out of her chair in an instant. Boredom was a powerful enemy on this station. She checked the message, and headed down to the engineering bay. Come to think of it, she'd never visited that bay before. There really wasn't any reason. She spent most of her time in her office, her flagship the Equalizer, or (occasionally) the gym. Maybe she needed to get around more.

The doors to the engineering bay slid open. Before her, a fighter (seemingly modified) set down on the deck. Teams of medics and handymen swarmed the vessel. Ali saw a Mandalorian clad in crimson armor climb down his fighter's ladder. The High Admiral crossed the bay, hands folded behind her.

She hadn't seen the High General in a while. The last she heard of him, he was out trying to find Laphisto Laphisto 's lost ship the Tracyn. She came to a stop a meter away from Silas. The High Commander was already greeting him.

"High Commander, High General, a pleasure to see us all in the same place again," Ali said, making her presence known.

Silas Vizsla Silas Vizsla

Silas shows his respect to his High Commander, greeting him and shakes his hand. "High Commander, forgive my untimely delay and my unexpected arrival." Silas tilts his head towards the High Admiral and nods. The integrated lighting installed on his visor flashes as if it is slightly shorting out but soon stabilizes.

"I have located the Tracyn, the coordinates have been partially saved on my ships database. If it hadn't been for some stray pirates, the datatransfer would have been completed. The information I do have is enough to pinpoint the sector, finding the exact location again could be achieved in the use of small squads of fighters." He adjusts his stance as he looks back at his ship. "We shouldn't have any hostiles to worry about, I made quiet a display of them.

Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
at the mention of teh tracyn laphisto gave a small smile his hands crossing over his chest with a small chuckle before looking the two over and giving Silas Vizsla Silas Vizsla a firm pat on the back " you did good High General. if we can aquire the Tracyn. we can possibly find the location of my ancestral home. and in turn a new possible home location for the order one that is off the radar of the rest of the galaxy. Send the data to my office when you get a chance, and ill work on gathering a team and re distributing resources to help in the search "

with a small chuckle he grabbed at his vambrace slightly. he was glad it had survived the initial destruction of the Edaar. without it the acess codes to the ship to make sure it didnt jump into hyperspace or fire on the Orders ships the missioj would be alot harder to achieve. though he knew what was laying within the ship and apart of him wish they were still turned off. though he couldnt say for sure.

turning to Ali Kare Ali Kare laphisto spoke " will your flag ship suffice for a transport? im sure we would only need a few LAET gunships to make a propper boarding of the Tracyn"

Silas nods in confirmation "Very good sir, you can expect the information in your office by the hour. However sir, I did have something to talk about, with the both of you actually. In my time away and places I have visited, I made plans for a new Project."

Addressing both of High Admiral, and High Commander. "If you could I would like to present those ideas in the betterment of our efforts."

Ali Kare

High Admiral of the Lilaste Order
So the Tracyn had been found. It had always been one of Laphisto's goals to find his old ship, and here it was in his grasp. All that remained was to bring it home. "If you wish, High Commander, I'm sure the Equalizer will fit a few LA-ET's. Although it isn't quite designed to hold smaller craft, it shouldn't be a problem," she responded. Ali turned to the High General upon his mention of a project. The Order could always use new tech, so she would hear what he had to propose.

"Exciting to hear," the High Admiral replied. "I look forward to learning what this project is about. I myself have recently finished a new design of my own; a ship for electronic warfare. Though it remains to be tested."

Laphisto Laphisto Silas Vizsla Silas Vizsla

Laphisto nodded to the both of them grasping his chin in thought while he flicked his lone ear softly. Before then turning to look at the two of them " let us pull a meeting in the communication center. I'll gather the senior staff and we can discuss these projects. Unless you would prefer something more private then we can meet in my office."

With a chuckle pushing from his throat he crossed his arms over his chest the Tracyn being the most prominent subject on his mind. He had been searching for the ship since he awoke from Carbonite. It was one of the major projects back when he had his old apprentice. The kid was rather excited about it.

As his thoughts one or two as old apprentice a visible frown pushed across his face his eyes darting to the ground as he began to lose himself in his own thoughts.

"No need for privacy, if it gets approved it will be a wide verse thing, that will involve many." He says as he presses buttons on his gauntlet, adjusting his suit to properly function.

It feels relieving standing on some solid ground after awhile of being in space, though getting used to the gravity is something that will happen over time.

Ali Kare

High Admiral of the Lilaste Order
"The communications center will do," Ali said, nodding. She noticed the Laphisto Laphisto losing himself in thought, and Silas fidgeting with his suit. She thought about pulling out her datapad from her pant pocket to give herself something to do while they were idle, but decided they should go. She wanted to hear about the High General's project.

"Well, shall we go?"

Silas Vizsla Silas Vizsla

Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto flicked his gaze up and into the eyes of High admiral Ali Kare Ali Kare before the. Looking over at High General Silas Vizsla Silas Vizsla and gave a small nod straightening himself upright and gesturing towards the turbo lift " come let us make our way to the communication center there is a holo table we can use to get a better understanding of what it is you wish to show us high General "

"Very good sir" Silas responds walking with Laphisto Laphisto and Ali Kare Ali Kare on their way to the turbo lift. Within a few seconds of stepping on Silas manages to get his visor stabilized. His heads up display unit reboots, giving him proper readings on his surrounding. Before it was as if he was wearing a shell on his head and having to look through a dim tunnel, now he is able to detect motion and accurately track his munition supplies.

Laphisto

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Laphisto had dispatched a private summons to both Iandre Athlea Iandre Athlea and Diarch Rellik Diarch Rellik , instructing them to meet him in the engineering bay aboard the station. The message was brief, his voice as even and unreadable as ever no demand, no urgency, just the quiet weight of expectation that carried its own gravity. Commander Tarain had been ordered to escort M mooney there as well. The girl still struggled with the rhythm of modern life, her isolation leaving her adrift in a galaxy far removed from whatever she once knew. Laphisto wasn't the nurturing sort, but he understood the importance of stability, of routine and exposure. Better she become familiar with real people than ghosts.

He stood now in the humming heart of the station, claws gripping a vibroscrew with quiet precision as he worked on a disassembled side panel. Sparks danced briefly in the air, then faded into the low light. The chassis before him belonged to Kyr'amor, the battered relic of war he'd salvaged from the battlefield on Serenno. She was an old Mandalorian war droid, dented and scorched, her limbs partially stripped and torso hanging open like a cadaver on a slab. He hadn't had time for a full restoration not yet but he could at least make her presentable. And more importantly, he could teach Rellik how to properly maintain her.

The Diarch's earlier negligence still gnawed at him a fact betrayed by the occasional low growl rumbling in his throat as he tightened bolts with deliberate force. Kyr'amor wasn't just scrap metal. She was a warrior, even in rust and ruin, and she deserved better than to be forgotten in the dirt.

A low rumble of annoyance echoed from Laphisto's chest as he batted a clawed hand over his shoulder for the fourth time, trying to wave Vraen off. The Basilisk war droid loomed far too close, craning her armored head over his shoulder to observe his work, her Fyrirdögun frame brushing against his back like an oversized, overexcited kathhound. She bumped him again, this time with enough force to make his vibroscrew skip out of its socket.

"Vraen," he muttered, grinding his teeth. "You've got sensors, use them personal space still exists." She chirped in reply, utterly unbothered, and leaned in again. Laphisto sighed through his nose, picked up a nearby wrench, and lobbed it down the corridor with a practiced flick of his wrist. It clattered off a wall and spun into the shadows near a workbench. Predictably, Vraen bounded after it with heavy, thunderous steps, her claws clanking against the deck plating. He knew she'd be back.

She always came back. A moment later, the droid returned with the wrench gently clamped in her clawed manipulator. She placed it beside him with something that almost resembled pride if a Basilisk could beam, she would've. "You're not a damn retriever," Laphisto grumbled, reaching to take the tool. "You used to burn cities." But she was already hovering near him again, watching every movement with mechanical curiosity. When she poked him once more right between the shoulder blades his ears finally pinned flat against his skull.

He set the tool down and turned, fixing her with a glare. "Vraen," he said firmly, "I'm busy. What do you want? Can't you see I'm trying to bring Kyr'amor back online? She's one of your packmates. Show a little respect." The droid tilted her head slightly, the servos in her neck whining softly. Then, with exaggerated melodrama, she lowered herself into a sitting position and let out a distorted warble something halfway between a pout and a wounded sigh. Her front claws curled slightly inward, visor dimmed just a little. It was the sort of thing you'd expect from a spoiled war beast denied her turn in the fight.

Laphisto's glare didn't hold long. His expression softened, just barely. "Oh, don't you give me attitude," he said, pointing a claw at her. "I left you alone for four thousand years Now I can't get a meter of space without you climbing down my neck." She offered a low, mournful whine in response and shuffled closer by an inch. He exhaled, shaking his head with a half-smile. "by the brothers… You're worse than a hatchling."

But there was no malice in his tone. He reached up and gently patted her armored plating right where her neck would've been, were she flesh and blood. The old girl was battle-worn, patched in places with modern components, yet still proud and strong beneath the scars. She wasn't just a machine. She was a war mount. A companion. A relic of the life he'd left behind… and the one that had waited. "I missed you too, you stubborn thing," he said quietly, before turning back to Kyr'amor's exposed circuitry.

The Vault emerged from hyperspace, Rellik stood at the viewing bay, arms folded beneath the drape of his cloak, watching as Aurora Station came into view. He had walked its halls before once, meeting Maldor Mecetti and Vyllia Santhe for the first time. It and its warriors were impressive, dutiful. This time, it was at the request of its leader. Laphisto himself. Rellik wondered what it could be for, he knew the man had been wanting him to visit for some time in regards to his Basilisk Kyr'amor but he had gotten caught up in one thing or another.

Beside him stood Xian Xiao Xian Xiao - he had been showing her around the Braxant run to help her familiarity and to help her understand the scope of the Diarchy. With the second officer coming up to inform Rellik that his shuttle was ready, he gathered himself and made his way to board Aurora station. While boarding the shuttle he talked to Xian for a moment.

"Xian, I wish for you to know what you have seen of Laphisto recently is him at his worst. He is fighting against the very gods of his people. Their spirits live within him and I have been at his side the whole way to help him. A story I will fill you in on when we leave. He is a great man, he has put himself between blades of great Sith warriors who have bested me in battle and fought for my life. Willingly throwing himself in. He has done more than almost anyone to aid our people and preserve our peace."

He gave her a soft smile as they boarded and began to leave the Vault.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The docking clamps latched with a hiss. No banners. No guards. Just Rellik and his apprentice walking the threshold. He adjusted his cloak and moved forward. Heading to the bay where Laphisto's signal had come from. Upon approach he saw the man with his own Basilisk. Vraen, it was clear that the time was now to make amends.

He hadn't seen Kyr'amor since Serenno. As Darth Prazutis brought his blade down and took a part of Relliks very soul, Kyr'amor activated and at starfighter speed hit the man off of him. The Darth had such a dominating aura that as it came into attack it was crushed under the Siths power. It gave itself without question for its master. It was time for Rellik to return the favor.

With a deep sigh he spoke to Laphisto as he approached. "I should've come sooner," He placed a hand on his Basilisks side. "At least I will be here when she awakes. Thank you my friend." He nodded to the leader of the Lilaste while taking off his cloak and rolling up his sleeves. Sitting down with a smile next to Laphisto he held out his hand for a tool. Awaiting command as he knew Laphisto knew much more about the machine than he did.

She was doing her best to maintain her muscles and build. Having slept through over 900 years had a massive effect on her body. In the months that had passed since she had woken up, she regained most of what she had lost. Now she just needed to keep up her activity to remain at peak performance.

Finishing her stretch, she stood up and picked up her datapad. Her Master wanted to see her? It wasn't uncommon, but it wasn't something that she expected. Gathering up the few belongings she had brought with her, she headed to the Engineering bay. If she had known Rellik and his apprentice were going to be there too, she would have made herself far more presentable.

A towel was hung around her neck as she walked off the elevator to the bay where he had asked her to meet. The hiss of them opening probably drew the attention of the others waiting, and she stopped in her tracks. Her heart jumped into her throat, and she straightened her shoulders. They had already seen her. Too late to turn around and put on different clothing.

Hearing her heartbeat in her ears, she stepped forward to join the crowd. Giving each of them a nod and a lingering look at Rellik.

The metal floor vibrated beneath her claws, still not use to the feeling. Her claws clicked faintly as she entered, shoulders slightly hunched beneath layered robes built She stopped just inside the threshold. Silent. Watching. Looking at the others that slowly started to gather it made her feel uneasy.

"Is this your meat supply? Laphisto Laphisto They are free to roam? And you named them why?

Her black eyes looked at the door of the shuttle they would be boarding soon, and then back at Rellik. She trusted him and tried to take his words as he intended. What her eyes had seen at the arena wasn't forgotten, and she would remember the clash until the day she died.

"He didn't need to fight Zara and you. She almost died. You..."

For a moment, her lower lip quivered a little, and she stopped looking at her master. Xian didn't want to finish what she had started saying and clamped shut. He might trust Laphisto, but he hadn't earned it from her yet. Feeling slightly abashed, he had been rather pleasant at the wedding, and she had to remember that.

Walking next to Rellik, she didn't know what they were doing here and glanced around the bay.

"What is it?"

The doors hissed open behind her, and she turned around to see Iandre walk in. A few moments later, the floor started vibrating, and another dragon walked into the bay with them. Still not yet entirely able to fully control her reactions, she moved closer to Rellik and gave this new person a total stink eye and tried to watch Laphisto at the same time.

"I am NOT food."

Rellik accepted the tool from Laphisto without a word. Just a simple nod between two old friends who understood the assignment. The brotherhood between them was comforting in its simplicity.

It was then he felt her, a shift in the air behind him. Iandre Athlea Iandre Athlea . He didn't need to turn to know it was her. He didn't react immediately either, though his jaw set just slightly. Maybe some childish natural instinct to make himself appear more handsome. Doing his best to focus on the task he could not help but lift his gaze from Kyr'amor and follow her figure as she came over to work with them. Rellik noting the relaxed or "mechanic" outfit she was wearing fit her nicely. Showing more of her figure...

Then another presence entered. He watched as the Kiev'aran creature entered, all layered robes and glinting claws. Her words and Xians in reply gave way to Rellik laughing out loud.

@mooney
"Is this your meat supply, Laphisto? They are free to roam? And you named them why?"

Rellik chiming in quickly saying "Fair is fair, I have been trying to put Laphisto in my zoo for ages!" giving a rather obnoxious laugh at the end of his words. It was a slight running joke between friends. He gave a head nod to the new Kiev'aran figure. Rellik was perhaps one person in the galaxy who was closest to them outside of the race themselves. It was an honor to be among another. Even if they were not the same, it mattered for him to show respect.

"Thank you all for coming to help repair Kyr'amor. This damage was sustained saving my life. Your work here to help me rebuild her means very much to me." He looked around at the new group. M mooney Iandre Athlea Iandre Athlea "How did you all come to know our friend Laphisto" He nudged the man as if telling him to keep quite and let them reply. Laphisto Laphisto - for Xian he gave a look. As if silently telling her to tell them how she knew the Diarchy when it was her turn to reply.

On her heels, another dragonic person joined them. Iandre turned and looked at the newcomer. She presented her master with a challenge in height, and she seemed akin to Laphisto but different at the same time. Eventually, it came to her. She didn't have wings! Maybe she was cousin race or something. Something she could maybe figure out later.

"I am Iandre Athlea. We are not his meat supply. Who are you?"

She did not fear M mooney and attempted to make her feel welcome. Trying to hide a slight smile at what Xian said, she did agree with Rellik's apprentice. Moving closer, she pulled the towel from around her neck and set it down with her bag, and joined the gathering at the table.

Turning to Rellik as he spoke, she blinked at the question. To answer and explain that might take a while,e and she expected to get grilled with questions. Opening her mouth to start answering, she leaned forward and picked up a torque wrench and fiddled with the setting for a moment.

"He met me when I was brought on board the station to recover from a long meditation."

Leaving out some rather important details, nothing she said was wrong. It just wasn't the whole truth.

"What about you?"

If he was going to be putting them on the spot like that, she would do the same with him.

Happy to help.

Thinking this through, she attempted to send the message to Rellik through the Force.

Laphisto didn't look up from Kyr'amor's open chassis as the others spoke. His claws moved with measured certainty, tightening a stabilizer bracket with a deliberate click. The scent of scorched circuitry and lubricants lingered in the air a comfort to him, more than any incense or meditation ever had been.Mooney's question earned a twitch of his ear, followed by a slow exhale through his nose. He didn't snap, but his voice when it came was low, firm, and utterly lacking in humor.

"They are people. Not meat. And they're not for consumption." His gaze flicked to her briefly, eyes steady. "If you're asking about the droids Vraen or Kyr'amor they are not food either." He didn't elaborate. Didn't ask her to clarify. If she truly meant Iandre or Xian, he would deal with that later. But his assumption stood, and his tone left no room for negotiation. Vraen chirped behind him again just once and nudged his shoulder with a clank of her armored snout. Laphisto ignored it.

He handed Rellik a new tool a magnetic stabilizer aligner without looking. Their unspoken rhythm required no instruction. The Diarch's presence was welcome here, even if the memory of Kyr'amor's fall still gnawed at both of them in different ways. He let the conversation unfold without interruption. Iandre's measured response, Xian's distrust, Mooney's confusion. He listened. That was enough.

Only when Iandre turned the question back on Rellik did Laphisto speak "You asked how they know me, and she turned it back on you. Fair play," he rumbled, nodding at Iandre. Then he reached down to Vraen's foreleg and gave it a quick pat less affectionate, more instructional. "stand out of the way vraen. you can watch but if your going to be poking me in the back im going to put you in time out ." She whirred indignantly but stomped off with exaggerated steps. Without looking up, he added dryly, "you would think her to be a hatchling more than a war machine"
