Armand Temi
Orphan
After Deneba, Cath was not sure what Veiere Arenais would think of her blatantly defying his orders during the siege of Mt. Meru. While she was a particularly headstrong Eldorai, she also happened to be a Padawan and wanted to remain in the good standing of the Jedi Order. Now she wasn’t sure what Knight Arenais thought of her, and worse, if he would recommend that she not become a Jedi because she was unable to remain calm and do as she was told when in battle.
So instead of confronting her shortcomings head on, she avoided them, something that was a little uncharacteristic for the young near-human.
But the shock of the terror and destruction on Deneba was still oozing through her system like poison in her blood. For days, she had been moody and melancholy, at once dwelling upon what occurred and at the same time chiding herself for wallowing in the abhorrence of what happened.
And what of the Order? Well right now the Jedi Order of the Republic felt more political than the Yutan capital on any given election day. Cath had gone from one bureaucratic role and had been dropped into another nest of conflicting functionaries.
Either way, the Eldorai noble knew she needed a better outlook or else she would be at risk of becoming the Order’s Least Promising Padawan. She’d heard of a former Sith Vong-Tof hybrid who was now a Jedi Knight. Fascinated by the story of how he came to the Order, she knew that a conversation with someone who’d endured what had to have been hardship and pain could only help her with perspective on why she felt that peace right now was a futile effort.
Waiting patiently on a stone bench on the grounds of the Yutan Jedi Temple, Cath meditated as she remained on standby for Knight Carr.
