She hadn't been on the Hutt world in a long time as being wanted by the Hutts was.. well, an unfortunate thing when you wanted to be anywhere in their space. Regardless, as stupid as it sounded she needed to make her way back as she once had an apartment on the planet.. and inside said the apartment was a decent amount of personal belongings that she had to leave behind in her escape from Hutt space when the heat began to rise against her. Therefore, after arriving on the planet via civilian transport she began sneaking through customs and security before grabbing her equipment from the baggage claim. While suspicious - the more she hid her identity on this planet the better..

Furthermore continuing her journey through the planet she took her time blending in with crowds, wearing a dress rather than her armor and keeping her head down as.. in the city, everyone was always watching and if you stood out - you'd be found. While of course, this walk through the planet took more time inherently due to her not just rushing to her apartment, however she knew the heat was going to pick up when she got to her apartment, therefore - making the trip there as peaceful as possible the better. However, it seems as she walked through the city a bounty drone scanning civilians spotted her alerting local hunters through a silent message.

Moreover, as time progressed and she finally arrived at the apartment she opened the door by typing in a key code - before opening the door to see that.. it was amazingly - but alarmingly still in the same condition she left it in. "They knew I'd come back." She said outloud as she shook her head throwing her duffel bag on a counter as she began changing into her armor.. knowing that somebody was most likely on their way. As she finished changing though, she began searching the apartment as she ripped open a locker to find a necklace left to her by her father, putting it in her bag - before heading to her bed room.

As she arrived in there she opened a secret compartment under her bed before pulling out a thermal detonator and attaching it to her belt as she began collecting more possessions from her home as she knew she needed to make as much time as possible before anyone after her made a move.

Nar Shaddaa. What a place it was. Some thought it was a jumping off point for their future successes. Believing they could escape the grip the Hutt moon held if they got lucky or if they just score one big hit in the casinos. However, the place drew you in. It was impossible to escape for too long without needing to come back for one reason or another. Cedwyn always returned for jobs, check out the businesses and see if there were updates on any news that he was following at the particular time. For now, he was keeping a low profile, which was easy enough to do on a moon cramped with people too busy to truly notice you. Nar Shaddaa was notorious for a place where people came to hide, escape the law or anyone chasing them down, though few could truly remain hidden if there was enough money on their head. When his pocket bleeped, it was a evidence of that exact fact. Someone came here thinking they could evade their troubles only to find more.

A bounty. Nothing outrageous but substantial enough that Cedwyn took notice and knew that it would be something he would act upon. He paused and examined the details of the bounty. Someone had crossed the Hutts it would seem. A foolish thing to do but nothing new, many thought they could get away with getting one over the giant slugs. However, the Hutts always found a way to make money, strange in how they were able to achieve that with nothing exactly dangerous about them when you met them. Placing the bounty chip back in his pocket, Cedwyn headed over to a small stall and ordered himself a drink. There was no rush with this bounty since the chances of getting offworld were slim when not caught on camera, now she had been, it would be near impossible. All this was now was a game of cat and mouse. And this cat could wait, very patiently.

Cedwyn also knew that other hunters would attempt to rush in and whether they failed or succeeded was of interest to him. Their failures would guide him to success and if they succeeded then the bounty was not worth his time. That was his logic towards the matter anyways. Tipping the stall owner generously, Cedwyn paused and looked around. There was something that was drawing his attention, a pull in a direction that he could not explain outside figuring that it was the Force guiding him towards his target. It was intriguing to say the least but he would not resist it. The holopic of the woman had been very flattering so Cedwyn could not deny he was curious to see her in person. See if she could keep him curious or interested enough, he might even end up helping her escape. It would not be the first time he switched sides on a job for an attractive lady.

Opening the door to an apartment, Cedwyn walked in. His jacket open and his one hand on his blaster as he looked around. "You know, the dress was a much nicer look." Cedwyn commented with a teasing tone to his deep voice. "Such a shame you had to switch to something more practical." How she reacted to his presence was definitely going to be interesting.

It seems the dance was soon to begin - she evaded a hunter before, that was for sure.. and has danced the dance with someone trying to smooth talk her, so maybe this was just going to be as routine as it always seems to be. Either way, she finished packing her duffel bag before wrapping it tightly around her back and placing her Mandalorian helmet on - tightening the other armor pieces and prepping her blasters as she drew both of them into both hands.. Now to dance the dance and see her partner.

She opened the door before stepping into the hallway - revealing herself dawned in the pieced-together Mandalorian armor.. gripping her two blaster pistols as she stared over at Cedwyn. "Well, the dress wouldn't do me so well," Her voice was slightly edited as it came out of her mask.. she held both of her weapons high to keep her guard up as well.. but took note of what he had said, she could use that to her advantage.

Furthermore, in this first interaction, she did her best to examine the scene.. He was tall.. almost a foot taller than her, well built - wearing a duster and seemed to be well-armed even though she couldn't exactly tell what else he had on him. He had to have some sort of trick on him so she prepped herself as she began thinking of what that 'trick' could exactly be. Maybe he was a martial artist.. a gunslinger - hell a force user.. it could be anything really, what was important was what his next move was going to be.

"Going to assume you're here for my bounty, would be somewhat weird for you to stumble into a home unannounced.. so we can go about this two ways.. you head off, and this goes nowhere.. or you stay here and I'll be the one to leave." She said with the utmost confidence in her voice, one of the lessons her father left her with before his passing was to never give her opponent any sign of fear.. all species could smell and sense fear, how they perceived it was the only different part.. and fear is what got people killed.

With that, she looked him down, not moving as she awaited the next step.

The full Mandalorian gear was amusing. It was always something that had been compared, Mandalorians fought and wore heavy, full armour. Echani wore little, fighting nimbler and in light armour. Both were assumed to be similar since combat was what they lived and breathed but Cedwyn never saw it that way. It was curious for Cedwyn to see someone so well armoured to be in this kind of trouble. It must have taken a lot for a Mandalorian to willingly get into trouble like this. "Well, a true warrior can fight no matter what they are wearing. Depending on armour to protect you is a weakness." Cedwyn pointed out, "but that could just be the Echani in me talking." He chuckled deeply as he shrugged his shoulders.

The blasters pointed at him were of no worry, he wore no armour for a reason. He hunted bounties with no armour for a reason. It was not simply because he was Echani and did not find armour comfortable, he also could rely on skills and powers that few others were able to rely on. "Ahhh, yeah, you caught me there. Unfortunately the Hutts don't seem to want you to leave without paying what you owe." Cedwyn stated as he smirked slightly. "I don't think you can assume too much Mando." The confidence was bold move but Cedwyn was not phased, he has dealt with many warriors of Mandalore before and dealt with Sith and Jedi.

"Lets be honest, we would make a whole lot of mess. Broken furniture, glass and more, nothing is guaranteed in where I would defeat you or if you would defeat me. Since we have never fought before." Cedwyn never downplayed an opponent, his open honesty was seen as disarming and he was not a fan of assuming all would crumble against him. "However, one thing is certain, I ain't dying today. So, we could fight and you might get captured or somehow escaped. Or you drop the guns and we could talk, perhaps figure out a way to clear the bounty with me having to harm that lovely armour of yours." His mind was already thinking of ways he could crush the metal and use the Force to crumble the very thing meant to protect her.

He was almost frighteningly confident in this.. She wasn't fresh in the profession but, she wasn't as experienced as many others - so an encounter like this was never an easy one. And.. clearing up that he was an Echani also made it difficult.. a warrior versus a warrior, a true gambit. So she looked to her next option and that was playing it smart as she lowered her left hand and placed her blaster in its holster, while at the same time keeping her right blaster up, not aimed but at the ready to be used.. a more.. casual look while keeping on her defensive. "We'll talk then.." She moved forward, walking to the end of the hallway, standing only ten to fifteen feet away from Cedwyn as she prepped herself, stepping into the light that illuminated the main room from outside.

" 'Clear this bounty'.. Either you're a liar or you want something.. what's the deal." She spoke as she looked around the main room, taking in the state of the exits, seeing that two windows were available and.. possibly the door if she could be quick enough. "And I will say, I appreciate your care for my old home.. But I'll say this.. you aren't the first hunter I've delt with so, if you'd wanna bargain lets bargain if you're just looking to fight.. lets get this over with." She spoke as she turned her full attention to Cedwyn.

Now, she was no 'wise all-knowing historian or scientist', but she had grown a small knowledge of most species as.. well it was a good skill to have in the Bounty Hunting profession as you needed to know how people were going to react.. therefore, circling back the more she thought the more she began thinking an up-close fight would be stupid, so she noticeably took two steps backward.. She was a decent fighter, however, she was not going to throw herself into a foolish situation against someone who physically outmatched her in every way from size to height, if it came down to fists she'd want it on her terms.

The agreement to talk, it was a welcomed note to his ears as he rolled his shoulders and relaxed a little. His guard was never going to be fully down around her, but it was enough to offer an air of comfort that she might be able to sense. He chuckled when she assumed that he wanted something, that he would not simply wish to talk if it were not to have some secret, hidden agenda. Cedwyn's whims were not always goal related, or focused on money or stepping up. "I am not a liar. Well at least, I am not lying in this case." Cedwyn chuckled, he was sure some would see him as a liar or betrayer, but that was never the intentions that he held initially. "Is an honest conversation or discussion truly outside the realms of possibility? Must everyone be after something in your mind?"

He noted that she wasn't getting too close, avoiding the risk of hand-to-hand combat. Having his blade, he would be able to close any distance and slice at her if he truly wanted to but he stood his ground and ensured that he displayed no signs of wanting to fight. "We have all dealt with other hunters, survival is all most people in this field knows. I would expect nothing less from you, Mandalorian, to know how to fight, survive and handle others." Cedwyn remained calm, cool, not bothered at all by her statements. He was not surprised at all on her defensive stances and determination to not bow down to him. It was admirable.

"I am not going to bargain, I doubt you have anything of monetary value to bargain with your life. Or at least nothing that you are willing to sacrifice." There was a lot of money in beskar and he was sure that she had other objects worth money but hold too much sentimental value to sacrifice. "I am curious to know you. Perhaps you could call it an interest in an attractive young lady, but I rather talk than fight. Especially since I am assuming you do not know how to talk through fighting." Cedwyn smirked.

"I am Cedwyn, by the way."

She nodded with that, lowering her guard as well as she began to listen. However, when he said the phrase 'Must everyone be after something' - it struck a nerve as she began to self think.. somewhat realizing the flaw of the 'business'. Either way she listened in and heard what Cedwyn had to say. "I'm Ryala, but I'm sure you know that." Saying as she finally lowered her other pistol to her side - keeping it in a place where it was less threatening but of course not out of reach for if things were to get dangerous.

"I prefer not to talk through a fight." She was well, the textbook Mandalorian; brutish in combat, nothing fun, nothing exciting. "And you're right about me not having anything of real value, I have my armor that I wont give up, everything in this bag that I wont spare - and well a beaten down ship.. so unless you want this furniture I have nothing to sell." She spoke honestly as she looked to the door for a moment and then the window as well, tightening the strap around her chest that was holding up her duffel bag.

"If you're curious to know me, I'm a bounty hunter - I murdered two Hutts and I assume that's why you're after me, I was born on Nal Hutta. My father was Deacon - he was also a hunter as well, and was killed by those slugs." She paused a bit looking away before looking to Cedwyn "I was just coming back here to collect my mother's necklace and a few personal belongings.. That's all you need to know about me." There was a bit of anger in her tone as she notably had never liked talking about herself or who she was. Furthermore, combined with the fact that this was an upsetting situation she found herself in, her body notably began to stiffen up.*

He nodded his head, "I did but there was no harm in introducing myself." Cedwyn stated. He chuckled slightly, "sure, I bet that would be tricky. I meant mostly expressing yourself through movements, through the fight." He was trying to explain his culture poorly but it was an attempt. He noted the shift in her movements and the more defensive with the conversation shifting to her explaining the circumstances and life that brought her to here. He didn't shift to comfort her or display sympathies. He just studied her as he stood there.

"Life can be unfair that way." He knew the difficulties and unfairness of life from his own experiences. He shook his head, "not all I need to know, could tell me what your favourite meal is. If you would be kind enough to join me for a meal." Cedwyn smirked teasingly as he leaned against the wall casually, looking over to her. "Or I will simply take a meal that you fancy right now." He took a small step closer to her.

Placing his hands on his hips, "could also tell me more about the Hutts that killed your father. Perhaps we could sort that and ensure your name is cleared on the bounty board so you are no longer hunted." Cedwyn stated, he was happy to take a contract but there was something more here, something that had him curious in terms of ensuring no one would ever collect.

Of course - as Cedwyn attempted to explain himself and well.. his race's view on fighting, and the sorts.. It somewhat went over the head of Ryala who saw fighting in a much different way. Sure, it was an artform, but it was much more stiff.. brutal, regimented. Either way she looked at him, confused by this.. comment about the meal but shrugging. "Lets stay on topic.. Not in the mood for a flirt." Of course she was no rock and understood when someone was trying to be 'nice'.. However she had little trust for someone who sneaks up on her.

That was.. until he said the phrase 'Tell me about the Hutts that killed your father' and.. what followed it. It somewhat got in her head, as notably even the mention of her father seemed to shake her and throw her off balance as she completely lowered her guard putting her pistol away. "The Hutts.. that killed my father are no longer a concern.. I made sure of it." She said with a bit of anger in her tone - seemingly the thought of her father put her in an imbalanced state

"How do you know about that.. you're going to talk right now." It was like an angry child - simply the mention of this person threw her game off completely as the only real emotion she was giving off was frustration as she looked Cedwyn down, moving two steps closer while keeping her hand on her vibro-dagger. "Whats the game you're trying to play." Saying as she was getting frustrated with how this was preceding - typically the normal hunter would just try and fight her - this one wanted to know who she was.. She felt as if he was toying with her. Even if he was just trying to know her, or be nice - she was seemingly only looking at negative possibilities due to her distrust for most things.

Cedwyn tutted disappointedly when Ryala rejected his invitation for a meal. It was not uncommon for it to happen but it was disappointing all the same. Especially since she was very clearly focused on lingering on the topic of what he knew and the bounty that was on her head. He shook his head, "the Hutts are a family, there were ones directly involved in your father's death but they all would have known or had some stake in it. That is why there is a bounty on your head, you don't go around killing them unless you intend to wipe every Hutt member from the syndicate." Cedwyn explained, he knew a fair amount about the Hutts due to the number of jobs he had worked on for them. "It was understandable to want revenge and I would have wanted the same, but it was always going to lead to this."

When she asked what game he was playing, Cedwyn laughed, not mockingly just laughing since it was clear she was not understanding his side. "Sorry, I was not attempting to laugh at you." Cedwyn paused then smiled again, "I have no intentions of playing a game. I asked you for a meal, because you are very attractive and I would be foolish to not attempt to know you better and develop a connection." Cedwyn was laying everything out in the open, not too concern whether a lie would be more advantageous or not. Honest was mostly how he worked, it was rare for him to lie or to even feel comfortable doing so. Probably why he was a bad pazaak player.

"When I say we could discuss sorting out the bounty. Simply means that, running away or getting captured aren't your only options. Why the Hutts are not fans of being betrayed or having their family attacked, they are not against favours or bribery to look the other way. Especially if the right Hutts are contacted." Cedwyn explained, sliding his hands into his pockets, "so, we can stand around here with you constantly wanting to reach for your weapon to attack me or, we go have that meal that I suggested and realise that its a good thing I arrived here first." He gave her a flirtatious wink with a casual smirk on his lips.
