Empirial Relations

~Akarui~

Ever since the liberation and introduction of her people to wider Galaxy, things had been very different and absurdly busy for the young empress-to-be. She was constantly meeting with various advisors, ensuring the well being of the people was taken care of, and pushing as much progressive reform as she possibly could. Sometimes it was a whirlwind of counsels and report briefings.

But the one thing she swore to never leave out were the smaller, more personal, encounters. You see, with the new fervor for interest both in and out of her system, she catered to every request and invitation herself. Some of these were as outlandish as you could imagine; marriage proposals, alliance dealings, the works. But more often than not, they were simple visitation requests that Akarans submitted to travel off-world, and for off-worlders to come and see what all the hubub was about.

This situation was no different...

A request had gained her attention for member of the Jen'ari Empire to come and learn from her...to which she accepted wholeheartedly with enthusiasm. Maybe, this could be start of something new...

The day of the requested meeting had arrived, without her knowledge, and Kimiko found herself in a conference with her Defense Ministry on the status of the modernization of the Akaran Armed Forces. It was mostly Chika doing the talking and responding to requests and informational questions here and there, to which Ki was zoned out. Not that her own words weren't heard, but the disinterest was heavy.

Somewhere along the timeline, they agreed to reconvene again in several days time to discuss the progress of the navy, and proceeded to end the discussions. Ki magically woke up from her daydreaming and vigorously called the counsel adjourned.

Chika approached her soon after, the tired look she gave a sign she had been busy,"I believe that went well enough, I believe we're right on track to where we discussed to be on time, pending any future projects." Ki smiled.

Demitry had arrived early, and found himself waiting in an empty hall. He glanced around idly, running a hand through his hair. When [member="Kimiko Taiyō"] arrived, he set off towards her immedietely. He seemed over confident in himself, showing no respect of acknowledgement of her position. "I believe you are Kimiko, yes? I'm Demitry Draskovits, and I'm here to learn about force healing with you." He dipped his head respectfully, extending his hand out to her. "If I'm here to learn, I wish for you to prove your capability as a healer." He removed his lightsaber from his belt, igniting it and slashing into his own arm. He winced in pain, managing to compose himself enough to hold the arm up to her expectantly. "Heal it."

The meeting had happened rapidly and could have nearly evolved into quite an incident as Demitry approached, rash in his introduction. The action that set all on edge was the slash of his own arm, Chika stood with her blaster drawn, Ki's guard ignited their own staves and prepared to engage...but Ki, aghast by the action, understood it and kept calm, motioning for her group to relax, none did. They remained on edge even as she stepped towards the man.

"Welcome Demitry, welcome to Akarui." she reached the man, running her hands over the surface of the injured arm, her focus switching to it,"I am happy you have made safely on your journey here." she chuckled as her hands stopped over the wound, it was deep, but clean, and not a severing blow,"Please, can I ask you to refrain any future acts of this nature?" her blue eyes looked up with the question.

It wasn't long before the woman returned her attention to the slash, hands together across its length. Her eyes closed, breathing slowed, and she focused on the wound, allowing the Force to flow through her and into it. It wasn't long until the tissue within began to repair and reconnect, followed soon by the outer skin. She looked over her work, a very light, not noticeable scar remained, as expected, but she was pleased and happily stepped back to allow Demitry to look himself.

Demitry was clearly impressed, running his finger along the line of the scar. He grinned, nodding to her. "I won't be, don't worry. I've decided, I would like to go through with the proposal of learning under you. This could most definitely come in handy." He looked up, rehooking the lightsaber to his belt. He pulled his sleeve back down over the scar, clasping his hands together behind his back. He glanced around some what nervously at all the guards, uncomfortable with them all having there weapons drew. He allowed the earlier stoniness to fade, showing off small amounts of child like fear from the guards. He set off to another room, assuming [member="Kimiko Taiyō"] would follow him. "I'm uncomfortable with this many guards."

Ki motioned for her companion to continue without her before taking off after him. They released a collective sigh as their empress departed. Chika re-holstered her blaster, shaking her head at Ki's compulsiveness, That woman...

She reached the small alcove he had found for himself, taking a moment to catch her breath,"As long as you do not make anymore sudden rash decisions like that, I believe you will be fine. You are my guest, and will be treated as such. The Knights throughout the palace answer to me and a select few others."

She had regained her composure, looking at Demitry with an amused grin,"As far as training is concerned, I do hope you are prepared. It will not be as easy as just instruction. No, you will learn how I learned, and that was not easy at all."

Demitry nodded, shrugging lightly. "It was a test more than anything, I won't be attacking my self any time soon, don't worry." He sighed, taking a deep breath as he calmed himself fully, forcing all emotions out. "I'm a fast learner, I'm sure I'll pick it up quickly, and I'd like to get started" He allowed himself to grin for a moment, before shrugging of his large, luxurious looking coat. It made a funny clang as it hit the floor, due to the two hidden light sabers. He discarded the one on his waste as well, this wasn't going to be a combative force move, so he wanted to be comfortable and show no sign of aggression. He rolled up his sleeves, rolling his neck as he cracked his knuckles. He was clearly ready to get started.

She grinned, devilishly, admiring the fire in his eyes. It reminded her of her past a bit, and the thoughts threatened to spiral into a very dark place. She shook her head, refocusing her mind.

"Such eagerness, and you only just arrived. I like that." though inside she panicked, not having planned to begin this soon. Though she thought of something quick and began replicating his moves in discarding her own cloak,"First lesson: See if you can keep up!" and with that, she bounded away, initially leading towards the outside of the palace.
