- Cooldown - The cooling system also has a cooldown timer before it can be used. 30 seconds must go by before it can be used again, that short window of time allows for overheating if the weapon used for too long.
- Overcharge Limit - The overcharged power cells have only 3 shots before having to reload another overcharged power pack.
- Overcharge Overheat - The overcharged power cells if used in rapid succession of each other can essentially override the cooling system, making the weapon overheat. The weapon at that point must be rather externally liquid cooled or air cooled for usage again.

The EM-2 "Pegasus" Blaster Pistol was an idea from Dah'lek Cho, sprang to life by his master gunsmiths under the Black Sun Cartels supervision. The pistol is truly the most innovative blaster on the market, introducing the new Overcharged Power Cells along with its release. The barrel allows for the use of these new Power Cells that allow for more stopping power at the cost at more recoil and limited ammo capacity. The weapon has added attachment rails for people to add their own attachments to the weapon, with a couple of exceptions. A new hybrid liquid cooling system was constructed for the weapon, made so the weapon can be fired continuously without the thought of it overheating. It cools down the barrel everytime it detects the weapon barrel is too hot, yet due to its electronic sensors to do the action the weapon is viable to EMP/Ion damage. The overcharged power cells can also overheat the barrel and can override the cooling system. At that point it's up to the user to cool the weapon down so it can be used again. Not something anyone has time for in the heat of battle. The cooling system has a cooldown to make sure it doesn't start the process from any minor heat detection, yet the cooldown timer is approximately 30 seconds, leaving an open window for overheating.
The "Pegasus" is a formidable weapon in the hands of any skilled rowdy gunslinger who wishes it in their possession.
