OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create a light and easy to transport Defibrillation device for Medics,The device however has stun capabilities so needs to be listed as a weapon.
  • Canon Link: Defibrillator | Stun Gauntlets
  • Permissions: My Subs
  • Primary Source: NA
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Stun
  • Size: Average
  • Weight: Very Light
  • Ammunition Type: Power Cell
  • Ammunition Capacity: Small
  • Effective Range: Point Blank touch range for normal stun | Average range for over charge shot
  • Rate of Fire: Low
  • Stopping Power: Average
  • Recoil: Average
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Has three Settings Stun, Variable, and Overcharge
  • Easily Transported
  • Easily Concealed
  • It's a Defibrillator
  • Connector port and wireless connection.
  • Self Recharging
  • EVA seals to they can connect to an EVA Suit.
STRENGTHS
  • Over Charge setting - The over charge shot is the only feature of this glove that has range. It shoots a bolt of lightening out from the glove at a target.
  • Stun setting - The stun setting is standard to a Stun Gauntlets or Stun Baton.
  • Variable setting - The Variable setting in conjunction with the touch acts as Defibrillator that can slowly up the amps to try and revive a patient.
  • The Touch sensors built can detect pulse, heartbeat, temperature, and dehydration/water levels to calculate time of death and weather they can feasible revive a subject.
  • Connector Port and wireless connection that can be connected to a computing device to give you the sensor read outs.
  • Due to the Solar Strips it can recharge itself over time.
WEAKNESSES
  • Does not work submerged in water - A safety working in conjunction with sensors built into the glove does not allow them to work submerged under water.
  • One and Done - an over charge shot of a glove burns out the power cell it will need to be replaced or recharged over 24 period in order to be used again. This means there isone over charge shot per glove.
  • The Stun - The Stun feature of these gloves requires one to touch a person to be effective requiring one to get close to the one they wish to stun.
  • The Variable Setting uses the touch sensors to detect a pulse or heartbeat so won't harm anyone if they are touched while this setting is on.
  • Have to manually switch between the settings via a connected computing device.
  • Being primarily sold as a Medical Defibrillator it is set factory standard to variable.
  • Due to the Solar Strips it has the same recharging weakness it can not recharge in complete darkness.
DESCRIPTION
This device was designed as a Defibrillation device that is easily portable in the form of gloves. As such it is not intended to be used as a weapon however it does have weapon potential so there for is categorized as a weapon. That and it's creator might have hidden a few features int he device like stun and over charge to use it as weapon. Though they are marketed and sold as a Medical Defibrillation Device across the Galaxy.

Each Glove has one overcharge shot in it after which the power cell needs to be replaced or needs to be allowed to charge a total of 24 hours.

The glove uses synth weaving process to weave the micro circuitry and sensors into a combination Plastithread and Veratex fabrics. The Plastithread gives the gloves some minor weather resistance making them durable no matter the environment of the planet you are. The Veratex material helps against tears and protects the circuitry from water damage. They are weaved together in a in a synthmesh connected to power cell to provide power to the device and that power cell has Solar Strips connected so it can recharge itself.
