H I S T O R Y Eloi has always been an individualist - even during his youth when he trained as a Jedi Padawan. With a bright and critical mind, he often found himself questioning collectivists approaches and norms which many of his peers took for granted. This was not always appreciated, particularly when he went so far as to exempt himself from rules and customs which he was expected to follow. Nevertheless, Eloi eventually made it through his training and reached Knighthood after a number of lessons in humility and tact.
Still, the Knight often found himself frustrated over how rigid some of the ancient Masters could be in their views. But that did not prevent him from doing his duties. Discipline, honour and duty were all values which he held in high regard and the Masters of the Silver Jedi noticed as much. They also noted that compassion, empathy and kindness were not among those values. Nevertheless, they kept believing in the newly Knighted Chagrian - for they saw that deep down, he really did care, even if he rarely let is show on the surface level.
Feeling himself grow more detached from the Order by the day, Eloi started to operate more independently. Instead of remaining with the others, he started to travel the Galaxy to do what he thought was right - whether it be by healing the sick or advising a foreign ruler. While his work bore fruit, the Chagrian stayed on the sidelines of galactic politics and the large scale conflicts.
While his path towards becoming a Master was slow, Eloi's work was eventually recognised. Being elevated to the rank of Master did not change much, however, for he still ventured out and away from his fellow Jedi whom he eventually started to loose contact with. Still, he was not in exile and would often find a familiar face in the Head Archivist whenever he returned to the Jedi Temple in order to access its archives of seemingly infinite knowledge.
Even then, those whom had known the Chagrian for a long time would be able to see how he had changed. Fundamentally, he was still the same person with good intentions and a pronounced affinity for the light - but he had grown bitter over the years. A seemingly permanent frown marked his face and while he rarely went out of his way to be mean, he could express himself harshly without many thoughts on the consequences.

A P P E A R A N C E
Standing two metres tall, Eloi was slightly above the average Chagrian height and maintained a good and stoic posture despite his advanced age. It was, however, clear that he was growing old as his wrinkles deepened and his skin colour trended more towards a dull grey than the brighter blue that was often associated with youth. Still, having lead a healthy life and embracing the light of the force, Eloi retains a relatively good shape, all things considered.
With cold blue eyes, the Chagrian could often seem distant or perhaps even uncaring. This was rarely intentional, yet he did little to prevent it. Even then, the more keen observers would be able to spot a compassionate spark in them. This was, however, a hard task and it was only amplified by a raised chin and a face which naturally rested in a frown. In contrast to the - often strong - appearance which he maintained, the pains of a long life sometimes shone through as he moved.

+Bright - While age might have had an effect on his physical shape, his mind is still as sharp as ever.
+Strong in the force - With a strong connection to the force and a natural tendency towards the light side, Eloi is quite familiar with calling upon his ally whenever needed.
+Experienced - Having kept active throughout his years, the former Knight have a wide range of skills, ranging from how to pick a simple lock to how to patch up a torn shirt. He have also had time to improve upon his mental acuity and hone his skills with the force.
+Cool - Rarely lets his emotions show too overtly and handles stressful situations without hiccup.
-Too Direct - Eloi has high expectations of those who are in his presence and can sometimes show signs of pride and bitterness. Sometimes, it may seem like he has care for the feelings of others, Eloi can easily be considered to be relatively unpleasant.
-Old - With age having it's inevitable effects, the Chagrian's physical shape as far poorer than it was during his youth. When speed, agility and strength are put to the test, it is not rare for him to fall back on the force.
-Poor pilot - Piloting is for droids
-Poor eyesight - Has relatively poor eyesight without his spectacles and will sometimes omit using them in favour of using the force instead.

A B I L I T I E S
Eloi was once a competent duelist, making heavy use of Niman, and can still hold his own to this day. But in his later years, his focus has increasingly shifted away from crossing blades with people and instead honed in on the mysteries of the force. While he is a generalist and adept in most fields including force healing, stealth and aerokinesis, his true specialisation lies within the realms of telekinesis and force light.
