STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

+ Duct-tape heart - Ellie is an unstoppable force of good and enthusiastic to a fault. To an extent, she has issues deciding when and where her presence is actually wanted and not tolerated, but it doesn't bother her too much to face discouragement and scorn. There are so many things to do and learn and see that she can't let herself get bogged down by unhappy details and nonsense.

+ If I had $1M - Ellie's adopted family is rather wealthy, to be sure. Although they don't spoil her with pocket money or seed credits, it's true that, growing up, she's had the best of what Naboo had to offer to a non-political family: Her education was peerless, her interests indulged with toys and classes and tutors. Even though she's seen fit to continue her higher education on the go, her remote college classes are among the best money can buy.

- Half a Heart - As a result of the cloning process that created her, Elanor has a slightly weak heart. She doesn't know she's a clone, only that she's adopted by a science-supportive family, and takes regular, twice-daily medication to control her congenital defect. Being kept from her medication for a length of time results in some profoundly unpleasant heart palpitations and, after about a week, a reasonably solid chance of death.

- Everything Old is New Again - As passionate as she is and as varied as her studies are, one subject has always captured and caught Elanor's mind in it's vicegrip - History. As indefatigable as optimistic as she is, Ellie falls into that ancient trap of looking at days past and sighing quietly with the belief she was born to the wrong time. At times, the feeling is almost debilitating, powerful enough to be the only force in the Galaxy to reliably depress her. That said, just about any academic pursuit that's fresh enough to her is more than enough to derail whatever she's doing.

APPEARANCE:
Despite her seemingly boundless energy and health-conscious lifestyle, Ellie is, and has always been a bit of a waif - tall enough to be healthy, to be sure, but skinny and far from physically imposing. She is, after all, a young woman with a heart condition and passions that usually involve being more of a mathlete than an athlete. Her hair is varying shades of dirty blonde, darker towards the roots and lighter at the tips. Her eyes are a pale enough blue to be nearly gray, and often slightly less than bright thanks to her late studies - but she does endeavor to take care of her appearance, generally speaking.

When she's studying or just out and about, Elanor prefers jeans and a t-shirt, as do a great portion of the people in the Galaxy. She isn't afraid to work with her hands, though, and isn't at all shy about being messy with a day's work or study in the belly of an engine or planting trees for some planet that needs more trees. As much as she loves helping people, though, Elanor is at heart, a bit of a lonely soul - she's a habit of disappearing from social events and things when there are too many people, to recharge quietly on her own.

BIOGRAPHY:
With so many big names in the Galaxy, living legends walking the land, it shouldn't surprise anyone that a modest black market has sprung up looking for the cellular content of big-name heroes and villains. But as any Cloning technician could tell you, the process is far from perfect: back-alley clones remain even more faulty and unreliable than those grown by experts. Elanor Wraith was born to one such facility, cloned from the genetic remains of a Jedi Grandmaster - but the resulting infant was the wrong gender, with a faulty heart and a hilariously low chance of ever manifesting any sort of control over the Force. Rather than dispose of the failed evidence, the little Wraith was found a home with a young couple simply struggling to have a child. In this way, she got lucky.

In the back of her mind, Ellie can remember when her parents were dirt poor and struggling to make ends meet, but those memories are far and away, hazy at best. A series of lucky jobs and investments brought Jameel and Rinka Belview to a status of 'comfortably wealthy' over the course of Elanor's life, so growing up, the young woman was spoiled in all the way her parents could see to spend their new fortune on. This might have led to an incorrigible, horrible beast of a spoiled child - the Belviews got lucky in that regard. When she was old enough to understand that she was adopted, her parents explained to her that she was - leaving out all that nasty clone business. Ellie was told her father's name - Darron Wraith - and looked him up to learn a bit about him, only to learn that he was quite dead. A student of history, Elanor couldn't stand the thought of a distinguished man's name fading into oblivion, and took his name for her own with her parent's blessing - no matter what her name was, after all, Ellie would always be their daughter.

After getting in contact with her brother-via-cloning, Tobias, Ellie settled down and found a calling as interesting to her as history - engineering. Specifically, emergent power systems and alternative means of keeping things like ships in the sky and shields around frail things. Her higher education is scattered as a result of her occasionally finding some new pursuit to throw herself into.

If you just went ahead and joined the Republic like you know you wanna you can duel [member="Tobias Wraith"] for the right to use the name Wraith.

Hint hint wink wink

What? All I am saying is Jedi are not invincible and to think so is not conducive to the safety and protection of the Republic we know and love. Jedi and Sith can be defeated with the right training and tools.
