PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Elora (Ella/El) is often overlooked because of her very simple looks and normal human features. She is not overly pretty, nor particularly ugly. She sits just above average, with brown hair and hazel eyes. She is slightly shorter than most girls her age, and slimmer than most girls her age.
INVENTORY
One holocron which contains a star map and a message from her father and one Jedi Apprentice's robes.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
She is quiet, observant, and does not act without thinking. She has no strong beliefs, and perhaps is motivated by the desire to become a Jedi like her father, but she does not seem particularly devoted to the title of 'Jedi' but rather has a great affinity for knowledge, and desires to collect and catalogue Force training and powers.
STRENGTHS
She has a great potential in the Force, and a talent for accessing difficult to use Holocrons. Her Force Awareness and Double-Vision are very strong, perhaps because of her Miraluka ancestry.
WEAKNESSES
Even as a Jedi learner, she never constructed a lightsaber. She dislikes fighting and finds it distasteful, while also believing that anyone is capable of change and redemption. She sometimes second-guesses her own decisions, which is her greatest weakness, but rarely expresses it outloud. She is quiet and difficult to engage, but also obedient and unlikely to rebel against her superiors.
She has failed several tests for Padawan and Apprentice Jedi, including the building of a lightsaber, which she seems to have no interest in, and many combat techniques. She has no aptitude for Battle Meditation or Healing - the latter of which she is capable of, but not particularly strong at.
HISTORY
Her life was pretty simple as a child, helping her Miraluka mother with chores and farming. At a young age her gifts were apparent. At her fifth birthday, she was gifted a Holocron left to her by her Jedi father, from which she learned basic Force skills and meditations. Her life was otherwise uneventful. No heroic moments, nor conflicts of conscience, she was not tested by nature or by the Galaxy at large. She lived calmly, quietly, with few friends and only her mother to care for her.
Her mother was kind and adventurous, sometimes leaving for great amounts of time and leaving Elora alone, making her a responsible child who labored along with her studies. Her father's absence was neither traumatic nor unexpected, as he had already been an elderly Jedi when he met her mother. The story, as her mother told it, was that they met during the migration of the Miraluka from a dead world destroyed by a powerful Sith, and he helped them to survive the long journey, battling Pogo the Hutt who sought to enslave the remaining Miraluka.
They shared a passionate moment, and then her father moved on. Shortly after her birth, a holocron was delivered to her mother, with a note from her father instructing her mother to send Elora to the Jedi Temple where she would be trained. Instead, her mother decided to use the holocron and her own Miralukan affinity to train Elora in the basic aspects of the Force first.
