TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Classification: Lightsaber Pike

Weight: 4.62kg

SPECIAL FEATURES
- Metallic components are Lightsaber resistant

With the outer casing constructed of a very thinly-layered Phrik Alloy over the top of a standard Agrinium casing, the physical Pike is resistant to lightsaber contacts, and will act much as a lightsaber blade in resisting them: the casing will neither be damaged nor convey heat along its length, so it can be used to deflect, parry or block an attack from a lightsaber blade. It cannot, however, be used to deflect or reflect blaster bolts.

Strengths:
- Lightsaber resistant
- Has greater reach than a standard lightsaber, due to the length of the pike
- Can be used as a weapon without the lightsaber blade activated.

Weaknesses:
- Has a shorter lightsaber blade than a standard lightsaber (at 0.76m)
- Heavier than standard one-handed lightsaber
- Difficult to wield in close quarters

DESCRIPTION

Crafted as a replacement for Elensa's Lightwhip, a weapon that has failed her on several occasions, the Lightsaber Pike heralded back to more ancient designs harvested from the Sith database, often granted as weapons to Force Sensitive guardians of Emperors and their closest advisors.

The Pike is designed to be wielded two-handed, with a shorter blade than would be found on a standard lightsaber, the hilt being considerably longer (reaching up to Elensa's shoulder). The outer casing of the Pike is formed from a Phrik Alloy plated over a thin Agrinium shell, black in colour, used in order to make the weapon resistant to lightsabers, but allowing her to use it as a staff as well as as a Lightsaber, and to offer her increased reach over her opponents, if needs be. However, unlike the standard lightsaber, it is much more vulnerable to taking damage from other sources, since the hilt is considerably longer, and far harder to move out of the way of incoming fire.

When activated, the Pike produces a purple blade, generated by combining the Diatium Power Cell in the centre of the Pike with an artificially-created Crystal made using techniques common to Sith Acolytes constructing personal weapons. The blade is slightly shorter than a standard lightsaber blade, and does not offer the same level of protection as a consequence, though it can be wielded further than usual if the pike's length is brought into play.

Due to the length of the weapon, it cannot be carried by being clipped onto a belt, so Elensa frequently carries it in her hand, or strapped to her back.

Awesome looking sub, only one small thing here. Phrik is generally resistant to... well, everything. That makes your second weakness sort of a moot point. However I think you're good to go without it anyway, as you've clearly elaborated both the advantages and disadvantages of using such a weapon.

So scrap that line and you're golden.
