DESCRIPTION

Herah decided to give the AoC a little gift while most of the work was already done for her with the killing power a thermal detonator already possess she decided to add her own personal touch to it, she used her magic to carve carefully and delicately runes representing a destructive element into the casing and putting her magic into the runes so that if that rune was selected it would transform the explosive contents in the grenade into that of its chosen element without sacrificing the explosive radius. The imagery of a lightning grenade with the thermal detonators radius amused her so she decided to start putting them into the production line for the AoC to use on the field.

Herah So you have messed up the template a bit here

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
  • Manufacturer: (Kuat Drive Yards, BlasTech Industries, [Character Name], etc. Please ensure you link these accordingly.)
  • Affiliation: (Individual Character Name (an individual PC/NPC who is permitted to use this item), Company Name(s) (Companies authorised to use this submission), Faction Name(s) (Factions authorised to use this submission, Closed-Market (Any character can use this if they have explicit permission through, for example, a marketplace purchase), Open-Market (May be used by any character without permission from the Manufacturer), other potential options include a submitted NPC unit, or another general organisation/group.)
  • Model: (Example: E-11 Blaster Rifle. For submissions where a model wouldn't be appropriate, such as a custom walking stick, put 'N/A' for 'Not Applicable'.)
  • Modularity: (Can components of this submission be swapped out for other components? Is it especially easy to modify? For most submissions, put 'No'.)
  • Production: The scale is Unique (Only One Character), Semi-Unique (A single small unit, squad, or squadron), Limited (Only one small group of characters. IE: A Single Minor Faction, Company, or Group within a faction.), Minor (Large groups of characters. (IE: A Single Major Faction, a few companies, or groups.), Mass-Produced. (Anyone.) Characters refer to NPCs & PCs.)
  • Material: (What is it made out of? Certain materials are more resistant, or vulnerable to certain weapons. Example: 'Durasteel, blaster components.' If this submission uses materials not found on wookieepedia, please link. You may also be asked to link materials that are obscure or difficult to find, e.g. exist as a byline in wikia entry. )
Should be the production information you are using rather than technical information twice, Also at the moment you are 4 ratings over powered which would require it to be a production of unique, also if it is alchemized it should be decently heavy given alchemizing materials makes it heavier

You've gone back over again, to make it easier I am gonna list out how your ratings look

Minor -1
Small +1
Heavy -1
High +1
High +1
High +1
= +2

what we need for balance is a 0 so please try to drop two ratings

Herah

Hi, I've been asked to step in to finish the review of this submission.

Currently, the submissions is still 2 points above balanced. All submissions should start with a production of mass-produced and technical specifications of average across the board. In order to increase a technical specification, you must reduce either production or another specification for balance.

With that brief explanation out of the way, let's turn to this submission.

Production: Minor
Size: Small
Weight: Heavy
Effective Range: High
Area Of Effect: Medium
Stopping Power: High

A production of minor gives you one rating point because you go from mass-produced to minor, so, therefore, the submission gains one rating point. (+1)
A size of small is seen as desirable, so therefore to shrink the size of a submission costs one rating point. (-1)
In a similar vein, a heavier weapon is seen as less desirable, so your weight of heavy adds one rating point to the submission. (+1)
Longer range is seen as a good thing, so the Effective Range of High costs another point. (-1)
Area of effect is a little confusing, I'm not sure if you mean average or large by medium, please use the specified levels in the future to prevent misunderstanding. I am going to assume medium=average which leaves you at 0 points gained or lost during this submission. (0)
Finally, the stopping power of high is definitely a good thing, and therefore results in a loss of one rating. (-1)

If we add up the ratings points, therefore, we end up with:
1-1+1-1+0-1 = -1
Leaving you one point overpowered.

Please note, that if your area of effect is meant to be high and not average then the submission will be 2 points overpowered.

We have 2 options from here.
1) Adjust the template, correcting the language used in Area of effect and reducing the ratings by 1 or 2 depending on your Area of Effect field.
2) Adjust the language used in Area of effect and keep the ratings as it is. I can approve the submission as it is, but if I do then this submission might be reported later for being over powered.

Please think through your options and let me know what you decide.
