Corporation Name: Eisenwelt Eisenwerke (Eisenwelt Ironworks)
Headquarters: Industrie-Mitte A
Locations: Eisenwelt (Industrie-Mitte A, Raffinerie Anlage Süd, Stahl Gebirgskamm, Industriepark - Mond)
Operations:
  • Industrie-Mitte A - Armored Fighting Vehicle, weapon, armor, and ammunition production
  • Raffinerie Anlage Süd - Metal ore refining, metal/mineral production
  • Stahl Gebirgskamm - Ore/Mineral mining, corporate research
  • Industriepark - Mond - Starship production, starship research, ore/mineral mining.
Rationale: This corporation is one of the leading companies in the Eisenwelten government/society and is owned and operated by an NPC as an NPC company, though I will OOC'ly regulate the company via the NPC to prevent major issues such as buyouts, unauthorized sales, corporate warfare, etc.
Tier: 2

Description:

Eisenwelt Eisenwerke was founded in 560ABY shortly after Axel Abeln began reuniting Eisenwelt under his banner. The company began as a small refining company, taking the metal and mineral ores shipped to them by the mines in the nearby Stalh Gebirgskamm and turning it into useful materials. The owners firmly supported Abeln as he conquered Eisenwelt and the Grau Welten system itself, landing them in a prime spot for expansion and opportunity.

Spring-boarding from their roots, Eisenwelt Eisenwerke purchased a number of mines and small time mining companies, allowing them to ship and refine their own ore to massively cut costs, while still offering competitive wages and benefits. The company adopted a method of expansion followed by stabilization for the next century or two, allowing them to become the primary mining company in the Stahl Gebirgskamm and a huge player in the main refinery park on the planet, Raffinerie Anlage Süd. Expansion continued and the company found itself, through what stories say was a botched card game, the owners of a small shipyard on the planet's moon. Despite the potential of becoming a big player in the starship market, the company took an unexpected twist.

For reasons unknown, the CEO of Eisenwelt Eisenwerke at the time purchased a series of factories in the planet's capital, Industrie-Mitte A. Within a few months, production swapped from the factories' original output of civilian and commercial vehicles and, in one case feminine recreational products, to military vehicle production. The corporation hired dozens of specialists from throughout Eisenwelt and spared no expense in design costs and production efficiency. The result was astounding.

New, top quality tanks rolled off the line roughly ten months after the factories had been purchased. The entire endeavor had nearly bankrupted the entire corporation, but when the military saw the tanks in action, everything paid off. Eisenwelt Eisenwerke became the top producer of armored fighting vehicles on the planet and managed to situated itself as the main supplier of vehicles to the Eisenwelt military. The company maintained the small shipyards in orbit, even expanding them at times, and still held on to its refineries and mines which cut costs in many ways. Despite those holdings, the company is and will always be the main tank producer in the system.

And with the opening of the Grau Welten into the rest of the galaxy, who knows what lies in store for the Ironworks...

Looks good. Can you edit in that the locations are all on -one- planet, just add Eisenwelt to the Headquarters and locations. Easier to check later on, if people need clarification. [member="Ilsa Voll"]
