- Aside from being a covert droid, this droid is designed to follow it's creator's primary and secondary functions. It is likely to turn on the user once an objective is set. If it is unable to receive signals from it's creator it will continue to act as a protocol droid.
- This droid is highly capable of learning and adapting because of it's Tsil Crystal matrix.
- This droid is powered by a Tsil Crystal matrix, which makes it vulnerable to Force Sensitive probes and can become sentient if it loses connectivity to it's signal hub. Additionally, Tsil Crystals are illegal to harvest and thus the manufacturing of EE droids can, at some times (for instance when Nam Chorios is occupied by Republic or Jedi forces) be extraordinarily limited in production.
- EE droids are also fitted with several caches of weapons, which if discovered (though are shielded from probing) could expose it's secondary function.
- In the case of Force-nullifying effects, this droid will lose a great deal of autonomy and creative thinking.
The EE-Droid was manufactured once during the High Republic Era, though it's manufacturer and creator vanished, and no more of these droids were produced. Their reputation is as a highly advanced and well-equipped protocol droid. The general consensus is that these droids were rare and expensive, but highly sought-after by diplomats and politicians for their versatility.
