Echoes of the Past

The time had come. Finally. It had been so long, since Savik had channeled so much power that he almost couldn't believe it. Power. Unlimited Power, was at it's apex. And Savik was one of it's guides.

He stood there, clad in his usual royal attire. His deep blue eyes menacing the officers of the Resurgent Class Star Destroyer, Leviathan. The massive vessel was perched directly above the a massive wreckage. Many knew what it was, many didn't.

But that wasn't exactly Savik's problem. His problem, was that he wasn't truly prepared for the journey ahead. His mind continued to wander about in the thoughts of the Fel Imperium. His old destiny. A destiny that fell short, after the death of the Grand Premier. And then there was the Empire in Exile, yet another failure. One that he had buried himself.

But now, failure was not an option. Not today. Not ever! For now he could see what true power really was. For he was staring directly at it...

To think, the wreckage below the Leviathan had once been one of the most powerful superweapons in the galaxy. Had it not been destroyed, the Galactic Emperor of the time and the last of the true Sith, Darth Sidious, also known as Palpatine, would've ruled over the galaxy with absolute authority. Since his demise, the "Sith" name had been copied and diluted by various pretender orders and states, thinning the power of the Sith and leaving them a shamble of their former might. Now, thousands of them served as part of the Sith Empire. Had Darth Bane lived to see what had become of the Rule of Two, he'd have been sickened, Morcus had long thought to himself.

While Morcus himself remained secluded in a private retreat located in an unknown location to most, he would never the less come before his secret follower, Savik Fel, in one form or another. A crimson robed Sentinel droid had been dispatched to act as his representative, and a manner with which he could communicate with his disciple from safety. The holoemitter within the Sentinel's head activated, projecting Morcus's face upon it's facial screen before he spoke. "Savik Fel. It has been a long time since we last spoke. The planning of decades will soon come to full fruition. The great path we have walked has led us to this moment. Operation Rebirth is to proceed at once. Resistance, rebellion, defiance. These are concepts that cannot be allowed to persist. The dilution of the Sith will be brought to an end starting today....you are but one of many tools with which this grand vision will be carried out. The legacy of Darth Bane shall come to fruition at long last.", Morcus said proudly, the droid mimicking his bodily motions not visible on it's facial screen. "I have dispatched my apprentice, Darth Vaktare, to join you. He will aid you in carrying out the first of your assigned objectives. The remnants of the First Order must first be brought into our fold. While a shadow of their former self, they may prove to be the first stepping stone for the advancement of Operation Rebirth. You must venture to their former territories and unite what remains of their strength. When you have accomplished this great task, I shall tell you the next step of our plan. Serve me well, Allegiant General.", he stated, before the holoemitter deactivated and the Sentinel Droid messenger stood in silence once more.
