Intent: To create a universal, combat-ready device for the injection of ECHO Esprit's gel drum pharmaceuticals.
Development Thread: [N/A]
Manufacturer: ECHO Esprit
Model: ECHO ESP-1
Affiliation: Open market
Modularity: None
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Plasteel
Description: ECHO Esprit has been a standardbearer for medical innovation over the last several years, introducing a line of easily portable and practically non-perishable pharmaceuticals and stimulants for civilians and military personnel alike. As is standard in ECHO Esprit's drug format, the dosages are solidified in tiny gel drums composed of Portaak Amber, Rethen, and Phosovane Salts, helping preserve the chemicals within for extremely long periods of time. However, this can be a hindrance in application since the gel drum format is not exactly a universal standard. Thus, a syringe compatible with both ECHO's gel drums and the more conventional--but less convenient--liquid medicines was introduced.

The ESPort activates an electrical charge upon applied pressure from the administrator, which excites the contents (and, in the case of the gel drums, breaks them down) and releases the drugs in liquid state. The hidden conductor needle extends at this time and ushers the contents into the patient's bloodstream with great speed, helping to make application quick and almost painless.

The ESPort features a scanning component that detects nerves and arteries to help the administrator insert the dosage in the correct and most effective locations. It also doubles as a medisensor with expanded molecular scanning (with vocal report option), making it functionally versatile and assisting the administrator in accurately diagnosing ailments.
