Strengths:
  • Singing Steels: Using a metal that is resistant to lightsaber blows, as well as blaster weaponry makes this a suitable replacement for a lightsaber in the hands of Shaun Irons.
  • Cold Edge: Using a combination of Mullinine, and Devaronian Gem for the edge of the weapon allows for the blade to keep an edge, while also being able to cause a secondary type of damage. The devaronian gem can cause immense pain when a victim is struck. And true to the gem, the blade has a chance to drip into the bloodstream. Causing the blood of the victim to be laced with a poison that causes pain until the poison is removed from the body naturally over time, or other methods of medical attention. Likewise, any wounds caused by this blade will continue to be painful until the wound heals completely. Thus, even the smallest of scratches can cause blinding pain.
  • Vibrations Hurt: Utilizing a ultrasonic-vibration generator, the weapon can cut more deeply into materials. This can also permit damage to some armors should they not be resilient enough.
Weaknesses:
  • Physical Limitations: The dagger has a single edge. Thus causing any kind of damage must be done with the edge of the blade, or the point. While parries, and blocks can be done with the flat of the blade, and the spine, at best, you might cause a bruise or break bones to be hit with the spine or face of the sword. It also lacks a crossguard. This causes the weapon to either attack, or parry. Blocking with this weapon is rather difficult depending upon the angle in which an attack is coming from, and the angle in which the sword is placed to defend ones self. The blades length is also rather short. Causing one to be well within the reach of a lightsaber, or any other sword to be effective.
  • Boom Boom: As the dagger utilizes an ultrasonic generator, should the generator be active, and the weapon be damaged with Ion, EMP, or electrical type damage, the generator can be temporarily shut off, Damaged to the point of needed to be replaced, or completely blow up in Shaun's hands.
  • Sheathed when not in Use: The mullinine edge in combination with the blood poison gem causes maintenance upon the weapon to be rather difficult. Even just drawing the blade and letting it be out of it's sheath is dangerous due to how sharp the blade is, and the implications of the gem. So for the sake of everyone's safety, the dagger should be sheathed when not in use, or being maintained. No showing off.
DESCRIPTION
A pen is mightier than the sword, yet at times, even a blade can make a difference in negotiations. In replacement, a dagger is best.

Using the same construction as a pair of vibroswords, the dagger can be used separately, or in conjunction with one of the blades. It can easily be used as a parrying tool in a fight, or be used to hit home while a sword acts as the distraction. Most of the time, the dagger is a self defense tool. A small weapon that can be hidden and kept away from the eyes of many to be drawn at the last moment and shoved into the attacker.

With use of the blood poison gem, this weapon is given more credit to its utility. Targets can be marked with an injury that causes pain that scales highly as one of the most painful wounds to deal with. In gem form, it was used by may as a method of torture. However, when used within a blade such as this, it allows the weapon to make even the smallest of cuts or jabs at someone, become the most memorable wounds received.
