Special Features: It serves as several different weapons. Hunting spear, Dual short swords, Double-bladed staff, and combat batons without the blades extended.
Description: It's strength is it's versatility as a bladed weapon(s) for survival hunting and such it is made of Durasteel. Weakness is again it is meant as a weapon for personal defense and hunting purposes not dueling or fighting against saber wielders. Much like a saber staff that can separate into separate sabers this weapon has the ability to be used as a spear, bladed staff, dual short swords, and even batons. The two segments are kept in a thigh holster in two parts and function as a set of short swords until connected together using a locking mechanism at the base of both separate parts. Locking mechanismS at the end of each section allow for conversion to the staff form of the weapon. There are also blade release triggers on both segments allowing for the weapon to be used simply as batons unless the blade releases are triggered.
Echani are trained in unarmed and armed combat both. Training with blades is emphasized and Celiana went through training similar to the Mando'a training and became proficient with blades. She became very fluent using two single blades but wanted an all around weapon that could maintain multiple different uses and so after research and arriving on Coruscant to meet with her father requested that she have a weapon made for her in the spirit of the Echani.
