LFG Eastward Bound

So, I've been off and on chaos and have been sort of debating if I wanted to continue as my work life grows increasingly complicated and stressful, and decided that I would give this one last good go.

The story idea I have been having is based around a sort of Sudo Chiss Ascendancy. Basically, remnants of the Csilla event at the hands of the Brotherhood of the Maw(lovely writers the lot of them) have fled Chiss space and run basically to the other end of the galaxy. These refugees come into contact with several groups of survivors from the Bryn'adul extermination Crusade(again, can't love those guys enough), and an agreement gets formed. A new little fledgling nation forms at the border of Bryn space, mixing the ideals of the Old Ascendancy with the blood of dozens of different species. Built from the ground up as a new entity driven to rebuild a life for the eastern half of the galaxy long ravaged by the Bryn, and become a bastion of stability. The survivors of the galaxies two biggest Destroyers working together.

I do not want to rush ideas, but would love if people could jump into this thread and basically hit me with their thoughts. What would be an interesting angle to throw in for Chiss and other refugees working together. Should it be lots of elements of the Ascendancy mixed in, or should it be a entirely new thing cobbled together. Any chiss writers would be welcome in the little brainstorm discussion, and anyone who might take interest I would love to hear back.

Hm, there is some possible potential interest in this for me, however I'm not right now super available to talk as I may be a little busy for some of today. But am interested. Probably would need to look over areas of the Byrn more as I actually had made a Chiss recently but things are just going a bit slow for him, and so I'm not sure how things will play out.

That said the chiss are very fun, and playing a character (or I guess, another character) either that lost a home to the Byrn or to the Maw could be interesting. I'll try and pm you later or see if you're on discord. Or you pm me.

Diamis here is no military woman, and left Csilla a few years before its destruction, but would certainly ally herself with individuals against the Maw. I'd be happy to join in and plot!

The Elysium Empire has taken on a lot of Chiss since Csilla fell, including Thaliias and Grand Shepherd Burtch , though Burtch is taking an LOA currently.

The Empire itself is a monarchy with a mixed ideology that encompasses both Imperial and Alliance ideas. We have a Council, and a weak Senate, and are led by King Heath Valhoun. We are hostile toward Sith factions for the destruction of Csilla, and we are hostile toward Imperial factions because The King sees us as "The Empire".

While it isn't a Chiss Ascendency, there's certainly a place for your Chiss here if you're interested.

A good portion of the Ascendancy aligned itself with either the First Order (like Thale and his family for example) or the New Imperial Order ( Mithrad and remnants of the CEDF, administration, civilians, and some planets alongside it) immediately after the fall of Csilla.

From what I've heard, refugees went to NIO, FO, GA or Elysium Empire mostly, with some others becoming wanderers.
