Earning The Bacon

A massive sigh sounded throughout the Snakes Tongue, a cantina on Tera Lush. He had just sent word to a woman whom was revered amongst the CIS, Feenarah Mason. The message would read as such:

Madam Mason,

I am sending you this message in regards to a clients private matters needing be addressed. It would appear that they were wrongly placed under a bounty that could easily result inthe loss of life. Being of both Law and the like, I seek to settle the issue through unarmed means. If you could look into the matter, I will be in your debt.

As far as I can deduce, it was a Master of great power that placed the bounty. Aside from being male, and not of the youngest stock, I have nothing else to go on. To continue and seek the information by other terms, could easily result in a battle breaking out and neither of us want that.

If you know, or find anything, return coordinates are attached.

Awaiting your contact,

Dark Knight

Of course there was no promise the woman would reply, it was however known that she was peace loving and held great respect. The perfect person to contact.

A bounty. Truthfully, Feena was too busy to be concerned about this sort of this, although the fact that she had heard nothing was troubling. She was supposed to keep track of it all, wasn't she? who had authorized this bounty? Feena was not sure, but she did want to find out. So she had sent a message back. A simple, short and to the point message.

We will meet in person. Chose a place. Be alone. I will come to you.

It was risky meeting anybody alone, especially someone who signed their name as something so vague as 'the Dark Knight'. And even more so after the last attempt on her life. The scar on her shoulder still hurt. But she was at the point where she was suspicious of everybody and everything- even her own Council. if what was said is true, then there was a life at risk, and if she could save it, then she would do all she could.
It was just in her nature.

Snake's Tongue cantina on Tera Lush is a beautiful place to speak. If you can meet me here, than I will see you soon.

Knights swift return was short and sweet, there was no requirement for rudeness nor length. He was mildly surprised, but still it simply solidified the galactic image of the woman. He knew of her recent issues - there was little he didnt know of - so when she replied so quick he was honored.

And so with that brief reply (short and sweet, which Feena was glad of) the Archon was off. Although, of course she was 'off the clock', so she was simply Countess, or Lady Feenarah, or, her preferred title; Mrs. Mason. That was what her droids called her now, outside of her office, off duty. She had programed them to do that. It helped her to switch roles between Archon of the Confederacy, and dutiful wife and Mother. She really did need the help with it too. She was always forgetting to stop working, even at home.

When she arrived, Force knows how long later, she was disguised as best as she could be in such a hurry. Her cloak was a thick, dark grey material over a plain blue dress. Her hair was covered under a silk beaded scarf, wrapped around her head in such a way that only her eyes, silver and cybernetic could be seen under the fabric.
As she walked in, disguised in this way, she wondered how the mysterious message writer would recognize her. Well, she wondered before remembering that this was only a cheap disguise thrown together from bits found in her ships wardrobe. Anybody who was paying attention would recognize her. But she supposed that was the point. Only one person would be paying attention.

A hand from nearby raised to the air, and beckoned to the location that he resided, "Archon. It is a pleasure. Would you like a drink? Food maybe?" Knight asked, hands gesturing to his own glass and plates. Personally he loved to eat or drink when matters at hand began to be to serious. Downing a quick gulp of the harsh liquid held within the glasses crystalline structures, he continued, "I have called you here as said, for a personal request.

"My client claims to be wrongly placed under bounty. He doesn't fear the repercussion as he is somewhat cocky in the sense that he might survive. But that does not change the fact that mortal danger has now embraced him, as if a loving friend having not seen their closest ally in a long time. I believe I have an inclination whom is responsible, but again, i wish to do this peacefully.

"How can that be obtained if I am willing to run off half cocked, into a situation such as this?" Zane said with an arched brow, "Now, I ask, of the information already previously spoken of, does anyone sound familiar?"

And of course, despite her disguise and wish for secrecy, this mysterious dark Knight openly addressed her as Archon. Deciding that it was now useless, the Lady Archon pulled her head scarf off with a sigh and joined the mystery person at the table. Before she could answer or order a drink for herself (Force knows she would need it) he went on about his client. It was all so quick it made her head spin. Or was that just the fact that it was past her time to take her medication?

"Slow down. Start again."

She honestly didn't catch any of that and her head hurt.

"Now. Who are we speaking of. I need a name. I can not say I know anything about anything if I don't have a name to put to the bounty."

One couldnt be known as the greatest detective in the galaxy, without being able to see through disguises, "Krest, an ex soldier of yours. And the fellow members of the Liberty Concord that left the CIS as well. Per the bounty, I am to guess that for some reason they were never to flee your employ.

"My apolgoies ma'am, I know I make haste but it is to save lives, not confuse you." Zane said bowing his head a moment, "I pray you may combine the clues, and locate the guilty so I do not have to." A man of old age, and power, whom held a slight influence among the people of the CIS...he believed he knew a few to fit the bill but couldnt afford an all out war started by risking being caught stealing from someone in power.

((SO sorry! I was on LOA. I'm mostly back though! ^^))

Feena went quiet. She thought she had an idea who he was talking about, but the clues were too vague.

"Please. Tell me more. I need more to go off of than that."
