Early Intervention.

That someone as experienced and knowledgeable as [member="Alexandra Feanor"] might be scared of the rest of the Galaxy wasn't exactly a comforting concept for Karrus of whom had no one and was now wondering if he was right to once again strike out on his own into the new world. His gaze turned to look upon every new figure that crossed their paths, pedestrians, civilians who seemed to be barely able to notice them and yet she spoke of them like they could suddenly turn on the two at any moment. It all sounded in the end as if she was looking for something to do with herself, her last words leaving Karrus wondering what she might be searching for and how he might be able to help her; it wasn't fear or paranoia that drove him away from the Silver Sanctum, nor were those things a driving force in his life but it was always an ideal of his that if somebody needed help, then you should help them. The very ideal that his brother had never shared and they'd argued about in the past where as Zarack only ever put himself first before others and Karrus always thought that was kinda sad for everyone else.

"Do you think that maybe I can help you?" He asked a little warily, not really knowing the scope of what it was that he was asking but wanting to help this person to feel better, Alexandra being the first person in a long while that had stopped and actually given him the time of day. Karrus loved to talk, he enjoyed learning about how other people saw the many worlds in the Galaxy and experiencing their lives through their language, body and vocal. "Though..." He paused some as he turned again to glance around their environment, "I don't know this place at all, I just got here really so I dunno if you're gonna find what you're looking for here. Most of these people aren't exactly talkative...", no real surprise there as he was a kid on the street with little to offer.

The more he thought about what she'd said, the more Karrus seemed to dwell on his own situation. He'd walked away from the Order on more of an instinct than a guided and well thought out plan. He had no credits and only the one attire and the training lightsaber; as intimidating as a training hilt might be to strangers, it wasn't much in the way of protection when he still hadn't gotten a grip over the precognitive abilities the other Jedi had held. Alexandra had spoken of friends and he didn't have any of those anymore either, Alysara had fled with him from Eriadu but once they'd made it to Voss, she'd been consumed by the way of the Jedi teachings and the two lost track of one another. Story of his life, his family hadn't been much different. "I guess people really aren't as nice as they try to make you believe..." Karrus added, his brows furrowing and his eyes shifting to look to the ground a little, "I don't have any friends either anymore...".

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
She heard his last words and sighed as she simply shook her head and went on one of her grand rants, all the while letting her form rise from the bench to turn towards the younger form. Daeda itself looked at her as it knew what she was thinking and turned his head in a bit of confusion. He knew what she was about to say was not like what she truly believed inside. Inside she didn't trust near anyone anymore, the last betrayal having pushed her into a deeper depression than she let most see and only he really knew what was crossing her mind most of the time. And yet as she began to speak, the wolf would be entirely surprised in that moment.

"You know, i think if you look into anyone, you can find that spark of good still in them Karrus. Its sometimes so small that it would appear that their hearts are black and without any hope, but that is all just an act and deception that they put on themselves and tell themselves. Those people of your past, no matter what happens will always be your friends... maybe not in that next moment you see them, but those connections are not forsaken with the quick stroke of a brush on our histories..."

"As far as i can see, you are more than capable to help me. Daeda already has taken a liking to you and he is a much better judge of character than myself. I would be honored even to have a person like you helping and you are more than you give yourself credit for. You have no reason to doubt or feel sad Karrus, trust me when i tell you that."

Her eyes were brighter for once, her hand reaching out and resting with the palm facing up to the boy. She was offering him her hand as both a way to seal their deal, and to simply help him off the bench if he wanted to stand. The Kid was so much younger, but his form had gone through enough in the past already. She was not going to let him fall into the same place she had already found herself trapped in inside her mind.

Karrus wasn't so sure that he believed [member="Alexandra Feanor"] when she said that his old friends would always still want to be friends with him even later on in life, like they might somehow return. Eriadu had proved a lot of how dark the worlds of the galaxy could be and he'd given up on the notion of his family being anything more than the shambles that it was; this of course didn't deter him from wanting to make friendships anew or thinking that it might've been nice to have spent some more time with Alysara; that was just how things seemed to be though and when life made up it's mind, Karrus was too young to know how to argue it.

This woman on the other hand, the one who now offered her hand to him seemed to be different somehow. He couldn't really place it but in the past everything that led up to his being at the Silver Sanctum on Voss just seemed to happen and much to quickly; Alexandra on the other hand was offering him a choice regardless if he completely understood what it was he was doing just yet. He took her hand because she held a presence that didn't feel nearly as distant to him as the others did and Daeda, he grinned as he looked to the ashlan pup clearly fond of the little creature already, the little wolf definitely had some sway on the decision as it showed to him that the lady before him was kind and treated life well, respected not just their kind but animals and others. Karrus liked that about her.

Of course, this all begged the question, what would it take for Alexandra Feanor to find what it was that she seemed to be missing and how could he be of any help to her. The Irony of the situation was that he was the one offering to help her while though he did not know any better, she was the one truly capable of offering the aid, if either of them. "So..." He responded after standing upright and brushing his clothes down shying the dust from his fabrics, "What kinda things should we do?" The question itself was bland though so was his knowledge over her and her group of friends she'd mentioned. "You know the Force right, I can feel it around you...More than normal people have it. Almost like Daeda, it feels a lot closer...-If that makes sense..." He smiled, revealing that he had a little experience, not much but enough to know she was skilled and able bodied.
