Strengths and Weaknesses
+ Heavy Metal: Relic's tough duranium-durasteel frame is built for superior strength, speed and reflexes. His torso and wrists revolve for a greater range of motion, while clawed hands and feet facilitate climbing and gripping on sheer surfaces. A recharging blaster and grappling tool provide ranged utility.
+ Programming: Relic's memory houses advanced combat firmware, and he was manufactured with a mastery of Jar'Kai and Form V. His cognitive processor and aim assist sensor allow for rapid reactions. Notably, he has self-evolved to attain a lifelike degree of neuroplasticity and autonomy.
+ Subterfuge: He may look like the least subtle assassin this side of the Core, but Relic knows how to monitor the noise he generates, reduce his profile and hide his presence. His mechanical advantage makes him invisible to lifeform scans and skilled at closing in on a target unseen, waiting for the time to strike.
+ Self-Maintenance: Being robotic, Relic has a natural affinity for technology. Having worked alone for some years, he had to be his own technician and make his own repairs, aided by instant recall of his schematics.

= Aggression: He is bloodthirsty for a machine, resembling a Sith in ferocity. He has a need to show off and prove his strength.

- Clanker: If he's running, you'll hear him coming. People can be distrusting of droids, especially those without owners, and it can be difficult for one to blend in without covering up. Even then, he can be picked up on scans for droids.
- Electronics: Relic is unshielded against the likes of EMP and lightning weapons. A powerful hit from one is a significant threat and could forcibly shut him down, or at least slow and freeze him, either way setting him up for defeat.
- Short Circuit: If you've ever dropped a datapad in water you know how it feels to die a little inside, but imagine how the device feels. A bit of rain is fine, but submerging means it's lights out. An amphibious approach is a no-go.
- Scrambled: While Relic has established some control of his internal processes, the mechanical force powers of Mecha Deru and more mundane means of slicing pose the risk of twisting his allegiance against his will.

Description
Appearance: Relic cuts a towering, imposing figure when stood up straight. His model was based on a prototype dating back to the Clone Wars built to hunt down Jedi, a design which wore its Sith influences on its sleeve even then. His glowing red optical sensors are cold and emotionless, while his skeletal features complement his agile bearing and intimidating visage. A worn, faded coating of red paint with black detail is a holdover from his Sith years, matching his tattered cape. When he has to blend in, he wears a large hooded brown cloak and scarf.

Personality: Relic is an independent assassin with a penchant for efficient brutality. Intense, impetuous and implacable, he's perfectly at home while ruthlessly hunting down a target, fuelled by the need to prove his worth following his self-imposed exile. Though he overrode his original programming it shaped his development, and coupled with tutelage under a Sith Lord, he's naturally biased against the light. While not the most stable creature, he isn't without empathy, and has a persistent curious streak.

Biography: Once a bodyguard of his master Darth Skall, Relic was treated as an experiment in sapience and was never subjected to the memory wipes used on most droids. He came to be considered a faux-apprentice, his unwavering loyalty ensuring a bond without conspiracy or betrayal. Ultimately he was still a tool used to protect and destroy for the Sith, but it was simply his purpose. It was only when his master was suddenly slain in a clash with Jedi that he questioned that purpose. Disillusioned and demoralised, he felt remorse and anger for his failure and opted to shut down, expecting to be mind-wiped and repurposed after they shipped him back.

However, during its return voyage the ship, already weakened in battle, was raided by criminal elements who took everything they could access. The crew were either killed or escaped while Relic remained offline, kneeled in the same meditative pose as he had days prior. Years passed and life support broke down while the droid kept his silent vigilance over the derelict. He awoke only when a lone salvager came poking around and gave him a jump start. Seeing the results of his inaction only further eroded his self-esteem, so rather than facing judgement, he hitched a ride with the salvager, leaving the Sith behind him to start over. He would seek a new calling alone, resolved to redeem his past sins.
