STANDARD FEATURES
  • Standard Shields
  • Standard Navigation
  • Standard Targeting Systems
  • Standard Life Support
  • Standard Repulsorlift Engines
  • Standard Communications
  • Standard Sensor Arrays
  • Standard Deflector Shields
ADVANCED SYSTEMSStrengths:
  • Four Masers instead of the old E-Wing standard of 3 Blaster Cannons
  • Engines can provide a temporary speed boost
  • Maneuverability is improved
Weaknesses:
  • Wide Load: Carrying these on a ship reduces the ships standard starfighter squadron capacity by 1.
  • One Mission: This is a standard starfighter, and while it packs a punch, is not a master of any particular field.
  • Inertia Pull: Using the booster creates excess G Forces, and the fighter is not specifically designed to counter that, which can leave the pilot briefly disoriented after use.
Description: The E90 Republic E-Wing is designed to be the standard warfighter of space and the skies for the Republic Starfighter Corp. It is an upgrade on the much older E-Wing which saw use in the era after the Galactic Civil War, and incorporates newer engines and weapons brought over from the Chiss thanks to the Republic Chiss member base. Aside from these, at has no niche that it falls into. It's just a baseline fighter. The main difference between this and the older ships are the choice of weaponry, number of cannons, more-aerodynamic design, upgraded engines, and the lack of a need for an astromech as the onboard computer can do the necessary hyperdrive calculations.

Seems a little overpowered.

I suggest you either: Lower two (2) ratings, add two (2) weaknesses, or a mix of both (i.e. 1 weakness, 1 rating)
