INTENT[ : To create a highly modular survival vest to be produced and sold by WarMonger's Inc.

DEV THREAD : IF needed

MANUFACTURER : Warmonger's Inc.

MODEL : DX-14 MSV

AFFILIATION : Anyone who can afford it

MODULARITY : Highly. Armor plating may be replaced or upgraded via multiple armor locking ports covering the DX-14.

PRODUCTION : limited due to unit price.

MATERIALS : Bacta gel weave Kenetic underweave, Duraplast plates, braided durasteel cable, Durasteel grappling hook, Cable launcher components, retracting motors, medical grade injectors, replaceable vials of various drugs.

CLASSIFICATION : Lightweight armored survival vest

WEIGHT : 1kg without plating. Weight with plating varies

QUALITY : 3

SPECIAL FEATURES : Built it grappling hook launcher, Molle webbing, limited regenerative capabilities, Kenetic resistance.

STRENGTHS :

Regenerative properties Due to the Bacta gel lining and Kenetic underweave The DX-14 has a higher than normal chance of allowing the wearer to survive mortal wounds.Though it won't outright heal the wearer the biogel work to stop the blood flow and create a natural scabbing while working slowly to sustain the wearer until proper medical care can be administered.

Kenetic Resistance The built in underweave allows for the user to sustain the same types of Kenetic force sustained in a typical crash and still live to tell about it.... WARNING!! This does not protect against: Piercing, or Lightsaber attacks.

WEAKNESSES :

Its a Vest As with any Vest the DX-14 only covers the wearers back and chest, leaving the Head, Arms, And Legs still fully expose. Other armor sold SEPARATELY!

Protection at a price With such a highly adaptable plating setup due to attachment ports covering the DX-14, The wearer may pretty much add or remove as much or as little armor plating as they'd like... The only sacrifice being mobility...And credits.

DESCRIPTION : A highly modular Kenetic underweave vest overtop a Bacta woven underlayer with inlaid injection ports which inject the wearer with a powerful cocktail of pain killers and coagulants when damaged to sustain the wearer till proper medical care can be received. Armor locks cover the DX-14 allowing the user to upgrade and replace the factory issued duraplast plates. A molle web, Sold with the DX-14, can be placed upon the vest as well as various pouches giving the wearer access to whatever they choose to carry. Built into the DX-14's waistbelt is a factory issued grappling hook launcher with a range of justr over 100m. The durasteel grappling hook attached to a braided durasteel cable rated to hold up to 300kg though 200kg is the recommended safe zone. Small high powered motivators in the waistbelt retract the cable back into the built in storage container.

  • If you can locate the original source that would be beneficial. Google is a big place ;)

  • Please link the manufacturer.

  • Nanotechnology is banned in the factory. You'll need to remove all mention of this otherwise I cannot pass this.

  • Ballistics are a form of kinetic damage.

As far as the image source I'm not sure how to find the original source. I had it saved on my photobucket.

I'll link the Company as soon as my company modification submition is handled.

About the Nanites.... What can I use in place of nanites?

I removed ballistics

Remove the highlighted please as well.

As for range and weight capacity I would drop that to 100 meters and 300kg. Given that this is attached at the waist, the wearer still needs to be able to support the weight, not just the cable said weight is attached to. 300kg (661lbs) would be realistically pushing limits.

Edit: There should be an 'image' button on the posting options bar where you can paste the url for the picture. I would use your photobucket link for that.

If you have an Android the top right of the browser should have three dots which you can click and from there scroll down and you will see the option to 'Request Desktop Site' - That will give you the actual desktop site, not the mobile version of the desktop site. If you have an iPhone I'm not sure how to do that... You don't necessarily have to have a photo if you don't want to either. It's not required. You can also just leave the link if you want.

As for the cable, pretty much any kind of metal would work really. Durasteel is plenty strong, but here is a list of metals if you care to choose something specific; http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Metals
