The Alderaani designed DV ST-X is primarily a carrier deployed strike/bomber that is designed to strafe and assault standard enemy SDs.. It was designed to engage enemy destroyer/carriers, bringing the fight to the enemy, rather than having it's own destroyer engage it. It's 2 heavy duty sub-light engines make it a fast deployed and responsive sub-light strike/bomber. The engines are heavily shielded and redundant ion converters let it sustain many laser canon hits. The DV ST-X is the primary attack heavy strike group on the Alderaani Devo. It can inflict damage to standard SDs. It's main tactic is to keep the enemy destroyer on defensive at a long distance.
