After the invasion of Mandalore, Kentarch traveled to the planet Begeren and used the Bo Vanda Holocron in his possession to forge an exceptional blade using Sith Alchemy. Transmuting phrik alloys into a fine blade, Kentarch used his power through the force to help alter the weapon's molecular structure, making permanently strong and sharp. The weapon empowers dark side users with Darkside of the force, grants its wielder further strength in battle. When he forged the weapon, Kentarch molded the medal to form a blade with a more severe profile taper and more of an acute point than is otherwise normal for blades of this size. Likewise, he shaped the blade with a ricasso base, this combined with hollow ground surfaces on both sides of the fuller, keep the sword's rigidity and strength at the base of the blade while keeping total mass down. The width of the blade at 5.4 cm allows for aggressive cutting performance at it's cutting section. The blade gently edges to a narrow yet strong and pronounced point. This again keeps the mass and overall profile down while allowing for powerful and devasting thrusts. Overall this weapon comes in at the lighter end for a blade of its class, and in the hands of most wielders it will be more lively and responsive compared to other Sith Swords.
