Strengths
Durok, like all Gen Dai, is a creautre that can absorb much more damage than any other known species in the galaxy. He can take hits that would kill any other creautre dead in its tracks. Durok, being of a species made of almost invincible muscle, has the ability to lift several times his own weight. He could easily outmatch any wookie in strength, and his natural reflexes are much quicker than any other species. Being a Gen'Dai, Durok is basically a shapless form of muscles that can stretch for extreamly far lengths and can form to almost any armor made for any species.
Weaknesses
Duroks age has led to severe deteration of his mind, leaving him vonurable to a range of mental disorders such as hallucinations, personality disorder and homicidal rage. This deteration has also made him more vulnerable to mind tricks, however they fail to register in his brain as they should which usually just leds to fits of confusion rather than complete control. Also, if Durok takes a substantional amount of damage his body is forced into a deep hybrination of which he can not awake until his wounds have been healed. This hybrination can last anything from a couple days to a couple years. Cold enviroments also severly hinder his ability to fight if he is exposed for prolonged periods of time, eventually forcing him into hibrenation.
SHIP:
The ship that Durok uses is a long outdated Pallaeon-class Star Destroyer that was captured from the Imperial Remenant during the time of the Gulag Plauge. It is the largest and strongest of the warships stolen during the thiefts commited by Duroks clan, before it was known as the South Systems Syndicate. It is has an armament of 50 Heavy turbo laser, 50 medium turbo lasers, 40 Ion cannons, 20 tractor beam ports and 50 proton torpedo bays and a single indiction field ray.
While this ship may seem menacing, Durok uses it mostly as a command ship that stays within the confines of the Triton system where it keeps an eye on the space factories that have just recently begun production on small arms, explosives and drugs. It is very rare that Durok brings his beloved command ship out into the fray of the galaxy where it could be destroyed.
When not in the territory that the South Systems Syndicate has heavy influence in, Durok prefers to travel in an old Corellian-class star shuttle. The ship is highly unchanged from its original design, aside from the addition of traditional Gen'Dai arts.
BIOGRAPHY:
[SIZE=12pt]Durok was born within a small nomadic tribe of Gen'Dai who were attempting to settle in the swamp lands of the planet of Naboo. The nomads believed that in the swamps of Naboo they could live a secluded life where no one would know of their existence and they could once again have the chance to build a strong community. The idea worked for a short time, however, when Durok reached the age of 100 a series of hostile Gungan tribes attacked the Gen'Dai settlement. Dozens of the less than fifty Gen'Dai settlers were killed, but not before they took hundreds of Gungan soldiers with them. Durok barely escaped with his life and fled the planet. From there he spent the next fifty years traveling from planet to planet trying to sustain himself. Eventually he would find himself on Coursant where he lived in the deep reaches of the city resorting to petty crimes and small time assassinations to earn enough credits to get by. Durok soon found a place in society as a mercenary and bounty hunter during the many conflicts between the Sith and the Jedi. However, these were only minor roles and he would stop his fighting work as soon as he had enough credits to satisfy a life style he was happy with. This would soon change when the Mandalorian wars broke out. Durok found work as a mercenary in Reven and Malak's armies that were led against the oncoming Mando forces. He fought many successful battles during the Mandoalorian Wars and when they ended and Malak and Revan disappeared with a third of the Republic fleet, Durok vanished with them.
When the two traitors returned and invaded the Republic Durok was serving as a well paid mercenary in their massive army. After the end of the Jedi civil war and the Sith Civil war began Durok served as an assassin for almost every separate Sith empire that had sprung up. Then when the first Jedi purge began Durok assisted the Sith in hunting down the Jedi for a massive fee. Things were going well for Durok until he attempted to kill a small group of Jedi Masters and their apprentices who were fleeing to Anchorhead. During the battle Durok suffered wounds that put him on the verge of death and he was forced to flee to a mountain region of the planet where he went into a deep hibernation in a cave so that his body could regenerate from all the lethal blows he had taken.
When Durok awakened from his hibernation, thousands of years of his life had gone by, his body had been healed from a state of near death but his mind had still felt the affects of the decay. The galaxy he knew was gone, the Jedi had rebuilt and the Sith are no longer the ruling faction of the galaxy. In 105 BBY, the same year as his awakening, Durok returned to the Glactic City and found it a much larger place than it was when he left it. He believed he would have to start from scratch in the slums of the planet again, but he soon discovered that his secret account that he had used to collect his payments from the Sith for his services had not been found by the Republic, and therefore not seized. He had millions of credits saved from his time in the wars he had fought and he quickly came to the conclusion of what to do with it all. He began investing in multiple companies across the universe, and even pitched a small amount into the cloning programs on Kamino. By 65 BBY Durok had secret ties to multiple companies throughout the galaxy and had begun to raise his own personal army of thugs and mercenaries to do his will. As time went on Durok would find himself lending assistance to the trade federations droid building programs on Geonosis as well playing both sides of the Mandalorian Civil War to gain immense profit. He would spend the rest of the Great Galactic war in solitude, watching as his investments gained him massive amounts of wealth. After the purge of the Jedi, Durok would once again be reunited with his clan on Naboo during the height of the Galactic Civil war. They began slowly carving hideouts into the urban areas of Naboo and other outterrim planets, afraid to show themselves to the Empire as they knew well the history their people had with the sith. When the war was over, the clan continued to remain in isolation, letting their investments build up until the plauge hit. Once thmajority of Galactic civilization died off, they took their oppertunity to seize power in the changing galaxy (see the South Systems Syndicate faction for more).
