E LAU AFIOGAE

The planet may have been liberated from the Maw.

But even with them supposedly driven from Empress Teta, Darkness still lurked in places and it was up to reserve Jedi elements to hunt them down and clear them out.

The mop-up.

Zhea had chosen to take one Padawan in particular with her to hunt down another Sith that had surfaced within the inner city - either rogue or left behind in the Maw's retreat from the planet. Ara Sheridan stepped out of the spaceport alongside the Knight.

The young woman had been through a lot in her young life. The Kiffar had taken it upon herself to at least give a bit more guidance to the Zabrak. Ara had a fire within her that reminded Zhea of an old friend - another passionate Jedi. She was determined to not let this one lose the way of the true Light.

"We have very little information about this Sith. I don't know if there are any others with him. That's what we are here to find out." the Knight said as they walked. She looked at the Zabrak then as she stopped. "Have you ever had any training in masking your Force presence, Ara?" she asked her. There were other ways to sneak up on a Force-user, but it would definitely be easier if they were both able to hide their signatures.

But it helps to the strengths of the lesser skilled, after all.

Any mission that allowed her to get off Coruscant was a blessing she happily accepted. What she missed with this one, however, was the location for this mission. Empress Teta. It was where Master Sol'yan was defeated and considered dead, it was likely the catalyst that cost her a dear friendship and it was a horrible battle that cost many lives.

Reading and hearing about it, as well as the sequel, was one thing, but stepping out of the ship and seeing the destruction for herself was different. The smell and sights reminded her of moments she didn't want to remember. Luckily Master Zhea was taking the lead on this one, someone she could trust and stick close to.

"Have you ever had any training in masking your Force presence, Ara?"

Ara blinked as she looked at Master Zhea. "Oh, um... yeah. Sort of. I can do it, but it ain't just a tap and go sort of thing. I gotta focus on it to keep it up." She explained as she adjusted her robes and belt. With her duties at the temple being an absolute mess, cleaning up and actually wearing her robes felt awkward all over again. It was easier to just keep her overalls on when she had to go from hangar work to a lesson. "Also might be able to help with tracking 'em down... maybe. Moving through Underworld and asking around is a lot easier than finding someone in a place like this." She continued as she stuck close to the Jedi.

Nothing felt immediately out of place, though the darkness over the planet couldn't be ignored. "It feels... cold. Like Panatha." She commented softly as her gaze shifted to a blown out building. "Master... why do the Sith exist? Like... what drives them? I've met a lot of dangerous people in Underworld, dudes that could make a Sith look like a joke... but none of them would do something like this. There's no money or clients if you destroy a city or a planet. Why do the Sith do this? Ain't their whole thing about getting stronger and winning influence?" She asked as she looked at her with a curious expression.
