For the sake of story, is anyone willing to take a devastating defeat? I know you wont get your submission anymore, but at least with a story, it could show how intense your character could be. Anyone up for it?

I've been a duel before, ended up dying.... But I came back. I'd gladly duel you.

Harrip is a tough fight though, won't be a walk through the park. That still good? @Skosk Fett

Sure, a tough, hard win is fine with me, where should we have it though? Also do you have anyone else with you? Perhaps we could do a 2v 2 duel with me and my son. While you have you and your ally, does this sound like a plan?

I could team up with Harrip. Iris and him did meet in bar one time and, if I remember rightly, made friends, but we'd still need a scenario that would make Iris and Harrip being together relevant.

Yah they did meet, chatted a little. If memory serves Harrip told Iris that Harrip has a skin condition. Yes good times.

But back to the point, well both characters are travelers, as far as I figure. Maybe you were transporting him form one planet to another, Harrip does try to avoid utilizing public transportation when he can.

[member="Skosk Fett"] I would consider making a duel like this mean more to Skosk by creating a story about why he was fighting. What led to the altercation, and why it was meaningful for it. Fighting to fight and having no purpose is pointless in the long run. Get a reason behind it, and it will mean so much more.

The idea of Iris giving Harrip seems pretty reasonable (besides, then I'd get to use my new ship) but then we'd just need to figure out how to get [member="Skosk Fett "]and his son involved...

I think we should see what Skosk wants to do, and I'm thinking of not using my Mech Suit for this battle, getting a bit bored of it.

I agree, but I have no idea what the story would be about, maybe I am guarding a rival crime lord for money? Then you guys hate him for putting a price on your heads, and attempt to kill him, in which you lose that objective and get your butts whipped? Does this sound reasonable? I would like anyone to add to this, I am stumped.

Maybe you are hired to hunt down Iris for being a smuggler. Which leads you to the two of us, Harrip probably having a price on his head making him an interesting target. The two put together would be a pretty penny for you.

Both ideas seem good, but I'm leaning towards Harrip's idea more. It also kind of fits with the idea of your son being there, as if Skosk is showing his son (sorry, his name escapes me) what it is like to be a mercenary and is maybe demonstrating what life is like for himself.

But, in all honesty I don't know. Iris is a very flexible character due to how Joe average he is, I am thinking of changing this though, and this battle could help with that.

Can I capture both of you? Maybe the prices on your head are worth more alive, once I turn you both in, an escape can be conducted without me knowing. With my former employer killed once I leave the vicinity, sound better? I would like this to be a hit man type of thing, where you both are hiding in an abandoned location, where I find you, and well, capture you. Does this sound like a good idea? Talon Vau is his name by the way, and he is another PC I will tag him so he knows. This could be a good learning experience for him IC wise .

I don't mind being captured, but I don't know if [member="Harrip"] will be okay with it. Even if he isn't, he could just escape or something and leave Iris. Since Iris is also a Engineer, and abandoned factory would be great, he could be looking for spare parts or something else he'd need for future projects.

Yeah that'd be good, but I have been lacking inspiration recently, and I don't believe I am very good at 'setting the scene' but if Harrip doesn't want to to do it, and it comes down to me, I'll do it.
