Duel on Denon[INVITE ONLY]

[PRE CIVIL WAR ON CORUSCANT]

Denon, a planet that was extremely similar to Coruscant. The Anzat was familiar with the world, having carried out an assignment here during his old days as a bounty hunter. Just like the every planet however, there were spots where it wasn't all about the city, and it was just open plains; even Denon had to have such locations, and Krayzen was on one of the locations.

The Anzat had been sent here on an OSI mission, and he had completed it; Krayzen however had decided to stay on the planet in order to spend some time for himself. Despite him being a warrior, and being well aware that one had to hone their skills, he, like most people, also liked to be alone, in order to contemplate his thoughts, and think about what he would do later. Unfortunately for him, that was something that wasn't going to happen.

Krayzen could sense three signatures of force sensitives. He didn't waste his energy on force sense, so he didn't check on whether if they were light-siders, or dark-siders; however, what he did know was this- that the force signatures came from trained force sensitives.

With his armor armor on, the Anzat began to prepare himself for the battle. While he did not know who he might face, he considered it stupid not to be prepared. On his armorweave belt, Krayzen had two lightsabers, as well as a Sil-50 sonic pistol, Mandalorian ripper pistol, and a particle beam blaster pistol. On the right holster, he had a FWG-5 Flechette Pistol, and on the left, he had another Mandalorian ripper pistol. While some might have thought he was armed, in this day and age where wars have increased, and major factions continue to rise and fall, him being armed was perfectly justifiable. The Anzat had with him a hood that was brown, and was made of armorweave.

As the Anzat walked, he remained vigilant as he so what was happening from all directions. This was certainly could to be an interesting day.

Denon was an obvious choice for a stop on her long trek back from Silver Sanctum territory towards her home in the Galactic Alliance. Her trip had been successful, visiting friends she’d made on her personal journey before settling with the Alliance. Her ship was small and unadorned, a place less for lounging and eating so much as for simple travel. The city-planet - her only true choice now that both her home planet, Empress Teta, and Coruscant were deeply embroiled in Sith territory - was her only real chance for the buzz of millions of people surrounding her as she searched out refreshment.

Tearing a piece of chicken off a skewer - street food, the kind that made a stop like this appealing, that would have left her Hapan Mother amused but horrified to see her daughter eating so messily - she turned down a quieter street in an attempt to cut back towards the spaceport quickly. She was eager to get back to the Alliance, to her Master.

Without warning, a feeling of dread crept up the back of her neck, spidery fingers warning her of something.

She saw the hooded figure as she turned the corner, tossing the spent skewer of food off to the side in favor of paying close attention. Even though she was tall for a Hapan woman, she could tell the cloaked figure was far taller than her. Although he moved as if he meant no harm, every alarm she had in her connection to the Force warned her. She was lightly-armored, wearing a jumpsuit reinforced with armorweave to protect her from stray blaster-bolts and the like. She carried no other weapons but her dual lightsabers and the Force. Often, the latter felt like enough.

“Not really bright enough down here for the hood, don’t you think?” she called, not pulling either of her sabers from her side, though she was prepared to unsheathe one the second it appeared there was trouble.

Vorian Adasca, Jedi Apprentice and pureblooded scion of House Adasca was hopelessly and utterly lost.

The young aspiring Jedi was attached to a relatively 'simple' mission to survey the territories of the One Sith. Of course, if anything is truly simple then it does not stay that way for long. Vorian was soon separated from his merry band by a group of marauding pirates, forcing him to flee into the interior of the Sith dominated urban sprawl of Denon. Denon was nothing like his native planet of Arkania, a snowy wasteland that possessed both a mystic beauty and a bleak sadness, and soon found himself lost within a maze of dizzying sights, sounds and smells. Of course, while possessing a youthful naivety, he was not idiotic enough to prance about swinging his lovely emerald-colored lightsaber. Instead, he procured a lovely, heavy black coat to wear over his Jedi robings and despite having little training in it; attempted to minimize his force aura in a rudimentary form of force concealment, though he truthfully doubted the effectiveness of it.

Determined to enjoy his time on the planet (as far as that went) the young Arkanian visited several local libraries, purchased some tombs and tried out some of the local cuisine which included imported womprat jerky. "Fresh from Tatooine." Proudly boasted the street vendor. Deciding not to question exactly how jerky could be fresh, he nevertheless tried some out. It was very different from the food of Arkania or the Jedi Temple and set his stomach to a unpleasant rumbling. Soon that rumbling grew into an ache and then that ache into a sharp pain. Before he knew what was occurring, Vorian was vomiting what felt to be his lower intestines out into a gutter. Wiping his mouth, the Jedi Apprentice noted that apparently his gut bacteria was not used to the various flora present in the local foods.

Contemplating the bacterial makeup of womprat jerky, the Arkanian Jedi heard a feminine voice:

"Not really bright enough down here for the hood, don't you think?" Whirling about, his eyes flickered to a tensed woman with a vaguely light sided aura. Another tingle down his spine alerted him to the nearby presence of bogan. This could be more interesting than reading scrolls, Vorian figured.

(This isn't me skipping [member="Harley"] or anything; just wanting to move the story forward)

Both of the lightside presences came closer toward him, and the Anzat smirked. His mind felt a rush of emotions, excitement being one of them. Krayzen knew that this would certainly go into a battle, and it would be determined by a fight through the usage of the force. He knew that his centuries of experience would be able to help him in this instance, but even then, Krayzen knew that he had to be prepared.

As she walked, the Anzat, he so someone with an Ashla presence come to him. Krayzen smirked; this was certainly going to be an interesting day. While she spoke, he turned, and so two people with light sided auras. "It's actually very bright, especially for this season. I like to make sure I don't get my skin burned." Krayzen replied.

Despite him having his hood on, he could observe the front very well, and Krayzen was vigilant, ready for any movements that were conducted by Olivia, and Vorian. If this was a 2v1 fight, Krayzen wondered if the dark-sided presence would come and help him.

Harley turned up late for a party as usual, she was dress in her hide armour. She just looked at all three from her perch, and then shouted down. What you up to puddings. Harley only had one side and that was her side. Though she did think it would be fun to see how the first order fared in the little tussle. After all she had no love for order, she loved chaos and her right to blatantly steal things, if need be. She also did not like the Jedi stance on theft, they where no fun ether. She rose to her feet and wonder if she should just steal the losers shoes or help in the fight, as she also liked to fight people.

It was the nature of the Force to work in strange and unexplainable ways, and four signatures coalescing in one place at the same time seemed likely enough considering the tricks it liked to play. Olivia did not know if she was on her own in this confrontation - if that’s what it would escalate to - but she could feel that she was not alone on her side of the Force.

Looking up at the woman on her perch, she raised an eyebrow.

“Hopefully nothing,” she called back. She had no wish for it to turn in to a fight. She would rather end what felt like a rapidly escalating situation in something like understanding. But the alarms in her head were only getting louder. It was against her nature and her training to attack without provocation, but she also couldn’t walk away when something about the original stranger felt so wrong.

“I can respect that - aging prematurely is a drag. But you want to tell me what you’re doing on Denon?”

The Alliance had no real jurisdiction on the planet as it lay in unclaimed territory. But that didn’t mean she had to allow injustice or evil to occur on its surface.

Vorian watched the proceedings curiously, declining to intervene for the moment. This was a One Sith world. It would be prudent to keep one's self concealed unless things boiled to a point of inevitable conflict. With widened white eyes, the Arkanian watched the Jedi and Sith casually exchange banter between one another. Vorian unfortunately lacked any significant experience or even confidence in handling Sith, the hated tyrants and sociopaths who wielded crimson lightsabers powered by synthetic crystals and were said to spare no one in their quests for power.

The Arkanian felt a surge of fear.

Krayzen wasn't surprised when she had asked him what he was doing here on Denon. The Jedi clearly wanted to know what a dark-sider like him was doing in a planet that rivaled -in some ways- Coruscant. Just because he knew her true intention however didn't mean that he was one that was going to answer the question in a manner that was satisfactory to her.

"I have things that I need to take care of here." he replied, not caring really if he was rude or not. That however didn't mean that the Anzat wasn't vigilant. He was well aware of his surroundings, and was ready for battle, if the case needed it.

Krayzen then thought about not asking her what she was doing, but if he could get any information out of here, this was the perfect opportunity. That however didn't mean that he believed she would relieve her information, and he expected her to answer as vaguely as he did.

"What are you doing here?" he asked, his tone hiding his curiosity.

Oh but pudding, I think your up to something. Here in this street, after all why else would three force user meet up. She was looking at them all, she wanted to see how this unfolded, after all she liked to fight more than anything else. Her remarks, where not just directed at the other woman, it was directed at the whole group, what power would they be after, and more importantly could she steal it form them. The idea of stealing and fighting did excite her, and after all what else did harley like to do other than steal and fight.

She then walked along the ridge of the building, as she began to circle the lot of them, was she on anyone side, or just her won.

They could stand there and circle each other all day.

She was getting tired of the games from both parties involved, the other Light presence that had been hanging around suddenly disappearing as if it too saw nothing but trouble ahead and wanted no part of it. Olivia frowned at the question directed towards her, planting her feet as she got about twenty feet from the tall, cloaked figure.

"I just needed something to eat," she answered, telling the truth - though not all of it.

"I'll give you one last chance to take the hood down and tell me your business on this planet. Otherwise we'll have to go to a more direct form of conversation."

It was directed at both of them.

Pure arrogance would always lead someone to fall, and realize they weren't better than anyone; that was something that was going to happen, whether you were a Sith Lord, or a Jedi Master, karma was going to teach you a lesson. As the Anzat heard what she stated, he smirked, finally eager for a fight to occur. He believed that it would be an easy fight, mostly because of his arrogance. Would this be the day where he would be beaten? Only time would tell.

As she spoke, giving him a stern warning, he removed his hood, revealing himself to be fully ready for combat. There were a variety of false reasons Krayzen could give for that, each being legitimate. For instance, if he stated he wished to be safe, that would be justified, considering that there were numerous major factions in the galaxy, and there were always wars, in which factions conquered, or put planets under their sphere of influence. The chance however for him to get out of this was gone, and now he was prepared to fight.

"I won't be revealing my personal errands to someone that I've just met." he stated, his tone being calm, revealing that he was not scared of her. "I wouldn't mind the latter choice of your statement." he replied.

While he spoke, he observed [member="Harley"]'s movements, maintaining his battlefield awareness. While she him, Krayzen moved back, being able to see [member="Harley"], and [member="Olivia Durant"]. The Anzat was ready for any attacks as he moved back. Fortunately for him, as he moved back, he wouldn't fall, trip, or lose his balance for even a brief moment, since there was no object like a rock or a stone that would affect his balance in such a manner.

[member="Krayzen Dratos"] [member="Olivia Durant"] (sorry did not get the @mention for some reason)

Well this was interesting did she did not wear a hood, but the other guy did. She was know smiling she was ether gona watch a fight or join in, who side she was not sure on. After all the girl just wanted to steal some food, and he was more up tight person. The type of person who really need to let it go once in a while, other wise what was the point of being Sith. It was Jedi who are up tight, and not them. May be he was falling for the lightside, may be.

She then looked at the woman, and told her Pudding there is a McYoda around the corner, I think you could scavenge some food from them. She wanted to see what the girl did next, as she sat down on the wall, giving the up tight Sith a glance every so often.

It would seem that no matter how badly she’d hoped for a peaceful stop-off before heading back to Sullust, she would not be granted such a reprieve. Though the woman on the roof seemed a rogue element, the creature in the hood before her was issuing a challenge with words and refusal just as surely as he might have overtly.

The green beam of her lightsaber appearing was loud in the small space.

She didn’t want to have to hurt him, but he was leaving her little choice.

They had a good distance between them, and she wanted to keep it that way for as long as possible as he was big and could overpower her if she didn’t play her cards right, and if the woman on the roof joined the fray she wanted to be able to maintain control of her space. However, it would be a strange duel from quite THIS far away, and she sprinted forward - stock-still one second, a blur the next.

She was still a little under ten feet away when she raised her lightsaber as if to strike him diagonally, prompting a backwards movement from him if she were lucky. But instead of slashing downwards, she reached out with her free hand with a short telekinetic blast aimed at his feet - however, that was not the point of the attack. If she were lucky he would react as was sensible: jump, somehow go vertical to evade being knocked off his feet. The second half of her opening move was to let another blast of telekinesis directly after the first, this aimed at his chest. If he’d moved to avoid the blast at his feet, the second would knock him out of the air.

But nothing was ever that simple with a Sith.

As an experienced hunter, Krayzen had been in hundreds of fights during his two centuries of walking among the living. The Anzat had been able to develop a set of strategies that had allowed him to walk away in a fight with a win, but most importantly, being alive. One of them was being observant, and the Anzat was well aware that they were 2.99 meters away from each other. So much for the right of not wanting to be disturbed.

Krayzen so her activate her lightsaber; he looked at [member="Harley"], the Anzat seeing her position. Fortunately for him, if she wouldn't be in any position to conduct a pincer movement with [member="Olivia Durant"], allowing him to focus on her. When Krayzen so the Jedi activate her lightsaber, he was already on the move, his heightened reflexes being three times that of a human. Another thing that was fortunate for Krayzen was that behind him, if he were to move back, he wouldn't be able to fall/slip/lose his balance at all.

When she activated her lightsaber, the Anzat was already on the move, Krayzen moving to the left, where [member="Harley"], and [member="Olivia Durant"] weren't. That meant that they were all on the right. Considering the fact that Krayzen had already been on the move to the left, he would be able to dodge the telekinesis attack [member="Harley"] had conducted against his feet. While he moved, he uttered a letter, and the magnets in his left hand activated.

The Anzati grabbed his Sil-50 sonic pistol, and opened fired, firing 4 shots in a rapid succession. The bolts weren't 'true' sonic bolts in the way that the pistol generated an ultra low sonic frequency noise, ,mimicking the target's impulses. This meant that [member="Olivia Durant"] wouldn't be able to hear them. This was added by the fact that it sonic bolts couldn't be deflected by a lightsaber, protecting Krayzen. The pistols were also aimed at her center point, or middleline. This meant that if she were to move to the left, or the right, the sonic bolts could still hit her in some manner.

This would be interesting.

She saw the flash of Green come pout of the woman's lightsaber, then used the force run towards the other man. As she close she tried to strike him down, with a sash of lightsaber, and then push him away. Some how the man moving to left managed to dodge TK attack, that as bit weird. Then at short range, he fired a blaster at her. She could decide if she should help the girl for girl power reasons, or hep her fellow sith out for sith reasons.

Though she did make running jump, and landed behind the woman. Even if she did help her, she would have to kill her after. As letting a Jedi go was a no no, and her masters would not like that.
