STRENGTHS

• Built For War: Layered in protection, optimized for sheer brute force, the DTP -01- Alpha Class armor provides its wearer with a reassuring sense of security and confidence. While limited in production, this defensive platform was designed with the intention of being able to even the playing field when confronted with a more extreme array of threats and predicaments. Resistant to lightsabers, standard blasters, and able to take the edge off when going toe-to-toe with a Force Sensitive. Although inspired by dated schematics, a contemporary overhaul has meticulously improved upon functionality and efficiency.

• Utilitarian: While oriented for mostly offensive measures, there are a variety of other uses for the DTP -01- including but not limited to: lifting heavy objects, surveyance of hazardous landscapes/protection from oxygen contamination, radiation protection, and an overall greater increase in survivability.

WEAKNESSES

• Lumbering Mass: Bulky, weighted, and not quite so agile, this armor is not ideal for anyone seeking mobility over protection. Weighing in at over 50kg, this reimagined Dark Trooper armor holds true its inspirations of the past as being an intimidating weapon, but alas is restricted in flexibility and movement.

• Foreseen Consequences: Long term use can prove detrimental to a wearer of the armor, increasing stress to the entire body's health due to more intensified training to become proficient in combat performance. While designed to be a full-body defense, exposed joints and openings to allow comfortability and mobility also prove to be a fatal oversight. This iteration of the Dark Trooper is also unfit for stealth ops simply due to its hulking nature.

DESCRIPTION

Forged of bitter spite for the Sith, constructed to uphold the foundation of the New Imperial Order's affairs, the DTP -01- Alpha Class came about as a curiosity project headed by one Vostok Grauv as a means of prolonging his service to the Imperial Armed Forces, and that of COMPNOR. Struggling with an aging flesh prison, the operator sought to extend his prowess for bloodshed by modifying his own body to be primed for war; an unrelenting drive bordering on unhinged zealotry, yet solid and tested by time.
