Description: The under barrel mount capability of this attachment allows users to utilize the Westar-M5 blaster rifle more effectively in close combat situations as well as giving the user a non-lethal choice for use against larger groups of opponents. This weapons’ weakness is its short range but it is not intended to be fired from a long distance. It is also a non-lethal weapon due to the spread of its blast the target is able to recover faster than someone hit with a standard stun shot meaning they must be restrained manually quickly before they can recover. This attachment having to be mounted well back from the barrel needs to be mounted on an angle so as not to damage the barrel of the gun when it is fired. The angle of attachment means the weapon has to be raised slightly to fire from the attachment.
