[Vitani Amani]

Vitani was travelling to Rodia when she came across a small city where she thought she thought that she could re-supply. She wasn't aware who owned the city or who it was governed by, so she was being careful in who she talked to and what she did. She kept her distance from as many people as she could and kept the lightsaber concealed at her hip.

The Padawan was a Jedi, but not a particularly good one. She wouldn't follow the rules, not being able to follow the Jedi way very well. As much as she tried, she couldn't. She preferred travelling with other people but often ended up travelling alone.

Vitani had entered Kalandra and wandered into the streets without a worry, surely she would just fit in with other citizens here, so long as she didn't take her natural form.

[Ka-Aver]

Ka-Aver stood post overlooking the docking bays. Kalandra was an important staging point for several of the cartels bussiness and the huts themsleves ventured here often enough, that meant their guards did as well. Nothing much had happened here of late but the young looking human girlwalking past below caught his eye. He sniffed the air and narrowed his eyes. He could only think of one word fitting for her. prey...

With that he picked up his com.

"Miztah Taziii," he fumbled some with comlink buttons. "Youz got a newz arrivalz to Ka'alandri."

"Human youngling, lookz core worlder and I bet zhe will be robbed zoon enough... She lookz odd, perhapz rich..."

Ka-Aver shut of his com, if [member="Cadan Tazi"] was interested he would go seek her out, or send someone. Meanwhile Ka-Aver kept an eye on her as long as she remained in sight from his platform.

[Tiali Orazio]

The glowing embers leaped and twirled in a firery dance, twinkling like stars in the hot swirling air before cascading to earth like gleeful fire fiends. Tiai Fly's down upon area looking around for a certain person he has been tracking for a while he heard stories from Caden about her. Upon finding he begins to approach Vitani sliding his hand down to his pistol, He holds the handle just for defensive purposes.

Once he reaches Talking distance He say's "Hello, I believe we haven't met."

Vitani turned around and stared at Tiali for a moment before deciding whether or not to reach for her lightsaber. She decided against it for the moment and responded. "Hello." she said confidently. The Padawan didn't recognise [member="Tiali Orazio"] but he seemed friendly enough. Then again, why would he have approached her without a motive...

 

[Tiali Orazio]

Calmly and nicely "Well you see. You're going to give me that Lightsaber of yours and your going to come with me." His voice is very direct stern but still has a nice tone, But he wants her to know this isn't a joke.

"Now come on." He gestures to give him the lightsaber.

"I don't think so." she said, pulling the lightsaber from her belt and igniting the blue blade. Vitani stepped away from [member="Tiali Orazio"] to get some distance between them, she didn't seem the slightest bit scared. She'd had a lot of experience with situations like this, for a Padawan. The last thing she would do was give in, though dying at the hands of a stranger isn't exactly the most honourable death.

"You can't take on a Jedi." she added cockily.

Flicking both of his arms to his sides for his vibroblade's to slide down from the tops of his forearms. He lets out a snicker "Pft you think you're strong that's cute." He brings his blades up bending his elbows ready to fight.

"Come on weakling."

Vitani said nothing in return and circled around [member="Tiali Orazio"] with her lightsaber held up in an Ataru stance. She was uncertain about attacking, not knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the man. "Why are you doing this? Who are you doing this for?" she asked finally. Before she even bothered waiting for an answer, she swung the lightsaber at Tiali's side and then brought it down towards his shoulder.

The Padawan had never fought against vibroblades before, it would probably give the opponent an advantage if he had experience with lightsabers.

He brings his right arm up for his blade to meet with hers, sparks fly around the blade meeting. At the same time he brings his other arm across to attempt to slice at her leg making it obvious he isn't wanting to kill he but injure her.

The entire time he stays quiet ignoring her questions.

Vitani tried to use brute force to push her lightsaber into his blade, and his blade into himself. But clearly he was smarter than that, he moved his blade towards her leg but she brought her lightsaber down to meet his blade. If he wasn't trying to kill her, why else was he here?

The Padawan force jumped and flipped over [member="Tiali Orazio"], landing in a crouch and slashing at his legs.

As she jumps and flips over Tiali, He activates his jet pack To avoid the light saber slash and attempt to burn the attacking arm. After taking off he flu up to 5m in the air to turn 180 degrees to face her again and lands on the ground bldes steady and ready.

"AH yes. Who can't take on a jedi?" He raises his hand to where his ear would be on his helmet awaiting a response.

Vitani yelped in pain as her arm was burnt from the flames. She got up from her crouch and switched the hand she held her lightsaber in, though being considerably less talented left handed, it would cause less pain than if she used her dominant hand.

The Padawan said nothing and glared at [member="Tiali Orazio"], slashing towards his right side quickly but powerfully. She was quite small and was easy to knock off her feet.

Tiali Begins to approach her Steady he keeps his blades at the ready as he comes in range. He attacks his left blade forward towards her shoulder to injure her.

He hold his other blade at the ready.

Vitani screamed as the blade hit her in the shoulder. She fell on one knee, clutching her shoulder after dropping her lightsaber at her side. The Padawan looked up towards [member="Tiali Orazio"] and despite luck not being on her side, she still didn't appear to be scared. Either bravery or stupidity, but what it was didn't matter.

Vitani held her hand out, gathering the force within herself and attempting to use it to knock over her opponent.

The blast of the force hits him unexpectedly, He would fall onto his back sliding on the ground sparks excrete from the metal of his jet pack. His helmet flew off rolling on the ground just behind him, showing the padawan his face . He grunts as he brings himself back up "Oh you little Kark." he slides his blades back into their casing quickly.

"You'll get it this time." He leans forward to activate his Jetpack and raises his right hand clenching his fists to punch her head with the extra force form the Jetpack to ensure she'll be knocked out.

"No!" she half pleaded and half shouted, though doubted it would make much difference. If he was willing to go this far, nothing she could say would deter that. Vitani reached for her lightsaber hilt desperately, sprawled across the ground reaching for the blade that was just a fingertip out of reach. Just as she had wrapped the ends of her fingers around the bottom of the hilt, she turned towards [member="Tiali Orazio"] and gasped as she was punched. The Padawan fell limply to the floor, unconscious.

Stops after the hit stopping steadily on the ground, "Now that's better." He grabs her light saber and his helmet connecting both to his belt. Looking over the padawan he brings he wrist com to his helmet "Hey R9 buddy Can you pick me up? I'm not dragging this Kark that far." some beeps and boops can be heard from the wrist com "Don't be rude just get down here R9."

Leaning down to the girl he ties her up and tears some of her clothing to make an improv bandage and applies it to the wound. He picks her up and places her onto his shoulder and walks to the ships gang way taking her inside "R9 heat up the hyper drive where going to Marna."


The ships gangway closes the Engines light and the patrol craft Flys away to make it's way to Marna.

Cadan got the message from Ka Aver. Cadan would arrive at the scene at see Tiali's ships flying away. He'd open up his comm to the bounty hunter. "Tiali, did you happen to just leave Kalandra?" It was an aggresive question, more so just curiosity.

Hearing the com's call and Caden's question he answers "Oh hey Caden. Yeah I was just picking up a package from the markets. What are you doing?" he seems calm and friendly in his tone.

Cadan would nod and procceed to walk back inside the city. "Oh you know, having the time of my life. Looking over karking datapads making sure all the numbers are correct. Luckily Doblaresh know's what he's doing."
