Naboo

It felt like a thousand drums pounding in her head as her eyes opened to the glare of florescent lighting. Her mouth tasted like cotton and her back ached from the steel bench she was laying on. How she got here she did not know the night before was all a blur. In that moment she sat straight remembering she was supposed to have meet a client the night before but she couldn't remember if they had met up. Her mind was in a fog, as she turned and realized she was inside a cell. As she noted the cell she was in a guard approached, he was Rodian and spoke very fast, Cord new a lot of Languages but Rodian was not one of them.

The Rodian guard began unlocking the cell and then motioning her to come forward. A few stiff heavy steps and Cord was out of the cell then following the Rodian. She remembered just how much it sucked to sleep in her armor in that moment as she walked with the guard. No amount of stretching as she walked seemed to relieve the stiffness in her aching body. It was not long and she was in processing before a Human guard she could understand.

“Cord Starfall, your bail has been paid by the crew of the Black pearl.” Dang right it was she thought to herself, though they might be a little peeved with her if she never actually met up with their client. The look on the guard’s face didn’t move from serious even an inch as he stared at her. “You are also being charged with possession of stolen property.” He handed her some paper work. Cord looked at it blankly, yeah, she screwed up she definitely never met with the client and the authorities now had the merchandise.

The Guard then handed her and enveloped letter. What was up with all this paper product being given to her, she had to wonder hadn’t anyone around here heard of a datapad. “That’ over there from your crew and they brought you some things.” He pointed off to a large duffel bag, Cord looked at it confused. “The things you got in there, you best find a place to store. Their not illegal but we don’t permit non-Citizens to just walk around with them.” Cord just nodded. “Your first court date in in six weeks so best find yourself a lawyer.” Cord again Nodded as she opened the letter walking toward the large duffel bag to pick it up.

"Dear Cord.

The crew has voted to temporarily relieve you from being captain. You have been extremely messed up ever since Lecarde’s death. We have been noticing your increasing erratic behavior and that you are hitting the sauce more then normal.

Consider this a forced Vacation we will return to when all the trouble you have gotten yourself into has cleared up. At which time the crew will reevaluate your position.

Sighed, The Black Pearl Crew."

Cord then picked up her duffel bag. the bag clanging of metal as she did so. she then let out a grown as the weight strained her already sore muscles. She tossed the letter into a nearby garbage and started to head out of the precinct. She stopped though at a holoterminal in the main foyer pulling up the local news. She quickly skimmed through it going towards the want ads. She knew she was going to need to get ahold of some credits if she was going to get lawyer or smuggled off this rock.

As she skimmed, she stopped at a news report it was a few weeks old. It spoke of the decimation of the Knights obsidian at the hands of some sort of space monster. Cord had heard of the Knights Obsidianin passing. Though she knew very little about them as she had given up the life of a force user a long time ago. She really didn’t know anyone who wandered in those circles anymore. As she read through the article, her heart sank for all those of the Knight Obsidian who lost their lives. Part of her thought it was a waste as she had always felt like a tool or weapon for the orders she had served. They all waste there lives for what exactly and no doubt that space monster was some manifestation of the force or worse. All that life and Cord didn't like but she saw opportunity.

1 hour later....

With in the hour a woman clad in a green weighted long coat with a hood that was open in the front revealing her battle worn light Sith armor underneath showed up in front of the Knights Obsidian HQ. She had her duffel bag full of mostly weapons slung over her shoulder the weight causing her to slump to one side slightly. As she approached the order anyone with there senses open would feel her presences. Cord gave off a dark presence her soul forever scarred by the taint of the darkside the curse she had to bare for her sins. If it wasn’t that her glowing orange eyes were another sign of someone cursed by the touched of darkside. It was all her cross to bare the outward signs of the monster that dwelled inside her, that unending rage that just wanted to see worlds burn.

The Pirate approached the order’s doors much like she had before with other orders not sure what the proper procedure was when a new force user came in from the cold. She had been a Jedi, Sith, and Witch but introductions where never easy and never the same. She entered the main hall of the order where she dropped her duffel bag off to her side letting her muscles relax as she waited for someone to arrive. If it were like the sith she could be standing here for days, if the were like the Jedi she would be greeted immediately, and if it was like the witches……well she just hoped it wasn’t like that.

Cord Starfall Cord Starfall

After learning about the horrific events that wiped out a majority of their order, Xevnlie traveled back with her order to their base of operations on Naboo. Being back on her homeworld was a strange feeling. She had been out exploring the stars and other planets for some time that it was unusual to be home once again. But, she had more to focus on than her own kin. She had to help her order, the ones to help give her purpose, teachings and aid survive.

Walking with her lightly crimson and golden colored robes, slimly fitting her form, Xevnlie wondered what might happen now that the order was so weak. They had to get others to join their cause. Surely they might get people to join them because of sympathy, but in the end was that enough to warrant them fighting. Potentially for their lives. Her chestnut hair was hanging more loose today, her mind being so full of the recent events that she couldn't be asked to tie it back.

Being a wielder of the Light Side of the Force, and acting like the Jedi that came before her, Xevnlie wanted to do more, but the wary feeling of pain for those they had lost weighted heavily on her heart and mind. Every now and then, Xevnlie would meditate alone, sensing for any disturbances that might pose a threat to their order at their most wounded time. Anything from a small shift in the Force to a small vision of the future, was all she asked for to know if they were safe. They were like her family away from family and she would do anything to keep them all safe.

Before she entered a more communal area for the KO members, Xevnlie felt a strange presence come into her mind. It was familiar, but also not. All it took was a small shiver of cold to run up her spine to get to remember where she felt that before. Having only really hung around the Lotus school members, Xevnlie was really tuned into anything that lingered towards the Dark Side. It reminded her of the Inquisitor that had come for her on Ank Kit Aar all that time ago. Starting to move quickly, Xevnlie headed for the source, her mind wondering what she was feeling at the moment.

Finally reaching the main hall, she had placed her mask, a full facial mask of dark steel that covered her mouth and eyes as she rounded the corner. Xevnlie looked at the newest arrival to their base. It seemed like an ordinary person. A duffle bag beside them and no visible weapon, but the Sith armour caught her attention. Her mask provided at least some protection from head attacks, so if a lightsaber wasn't their weapon, it would help against blaster for 1 free hit. Hoping that they weren't a threat, Xevnlie began a walk towards the new guest.

"Hello," Xevnlie started keeping her eyes on the person's hands in case of hostile action, "Can I help you?" Xevnlie looked every image of a Jedi, with the exception that her robes were slim fitting and she had no cloak. a long Saberstaff hung off her right hip as she walked. Its chrome material contrasting with the bronze bands and black highlights. Even just being close to this new person, the difference in their energy was like fire and water. Two polar opposites of each other.

Cord had felt the approach long before the young force user even reached her. She could feel the unease and tension as the girl approached. Yet Cord didn’t move or go for her duffel bag where her weapons where stored. Though she new if this was anything like introducing herself to the sith she might need them. Then again showing you had no fear and didn’t perceive them as a threat unnerved them more a straight show of strength. Often with he sith it was a game of superiority and intimidation. Oddly the same tactic worked with Jedi except they respected your resolve not to draw arms and show hostility.

As the girl in her mask round a corner Cord caught her just out of the corner of her eye. She took note of how the girl was postured and ready to attack if need be. Though she sensed the girl was more attuned with the light side Cord had to wonder if the girl would attack her. It would be interesting the girl didn’t seem like she had seen many fights though. Cord wonder for just a second how she would hold up to a master of the force and magick.

Then the Girl began to approach cautiously of course posing her greeting and question. “I am Cord Starfall, I was hoping to speak to a master of this order or who ever has some authority here.” Cord answered her tone respectful but she could resist a sarcastic remark tact on to the end. “I mean unless all that’s left are Padawans, then this order is more a clusterfrak then the papers let be known. Also, in desperate need help.” A smirk crossed her face showing it was all in jest and not mean spirited nor derogatory to Xevnlie BrightScorch Xevnlie BrightScorch but maybe little the order itself. The latter being more Cords distrust towards orders and religions of the force.

“So who is in charge around here?”
