After the Battle of Eshan, Voph remained within CIS space, and sought to consolidate his forces under a single banner. No longer seeking to champion a wide-reaching force, Voph instead turned his focus to a single target: The marauders responsible for the devastation on Eshan. Voph surrendered control of his forces to the Confederacy, and took a temporary position as Fleet Marshal as he prepared his small navy to become a fearsome xeno-hunting task force.
After the Battle of Eshan, Voph commissioned a new ship to move soldiers to and from the battlefield, particularly in intense fire situations. The Dromund Class dropship is the result. Heavy armor allows it to fly into the thick of battle to retrieve wounded and deposit fresh soldiers. Its increased agility also assists in staving off incoming fire. The Aft cargo hold can be configured to carry a number of things, including ground vehicles such as tanks or small walkers. Typically, this hold is used to carry munitions and supplies to help establish a command post.
