Droid's Desire (Zrixtas)

"It would allow for quicker movement yes, the flip side is that it would then require more finesse to control. Not necessarily a downside, just have to be careful how much power you put through. but then that is what you would have to be careful with anyways." Ultimatum shrugged as he said this. His droids had used thrusters sparingly, no purpose in using them if there was no real need to. What he had seen of their use had shown them top be effective. They were somewhat temperamental though in the extreme heat. That was another factor, they couldn't be used to often as they caused quite a bit of heat, in the current temperature of the surface of Mustafar it was rare to be able to use them period.

"True but these thrusters would simply be used when absolutely needed after all." Zrixtas then said to [member="Ultimatum"] as he finished placing most of the thrusters into the arms and legs. "Tell me do you have a gyro stabilizer it could be placed into the hip segment of the body itself it would supply it with a good amount of balance." He then said as he began to look over what they had so far built it was like a budding tree that would become the roots from which his future would be built upon.

"Gyroscope." Ultimatum said aloud while he had his program go through the facility's manifest. It showed a number of gyroscopes, most were for repairs in case of damaging one in the current droids. Of course, none of the droids had had a breakdown in a few months after the increase in safety protocols. They had enough anyways for awhile so he would have one brought up. "Yep, it will be up here soon." He turned his attention to the arm as he placed it down temporarily. He would need to test it later, but for the moment he would stay focused on the rest of the body.

Ultimatum moved back to the main body and began to build up the connection from the upper body to the legs. As [member="Zrixtas"] suggested he left a place for the gyroscope, but he also added cords and components to connect poperly.

Zrixtas helped [member="Ultimatum"] build up the body as best he could, mostly just handing tools that would be needed to him as well as hold things in their place when needed. He couldn't help but enjoy it as it was one of the few time's he could simply spend time leisurely doing something he liked to do.

It was about two or three hours nonstop work before Ultimatum finished the final touches on the body. That was another advantage to being a droid, one could work very quickly and have no need to take breaks. It made for much more work being accomplished in a given amount of time. Ultimatum looked one last time at the body, making certain that nothing was out of place. He then turned his attention to the chest area, he found the small lever for the latch that held the front part of the body in place. The lever wasn't hidden, that was because he had built it to be removed. He explained as he opened up the chest and prepared the crystal case, "I made the release for the front of the body inside the chest area so that you could use the Force to open it instead of relying on the droid's arms. It also removes the possibility of something or someone forcing their way in unless they use a lightsaber or similar tools."

Zrixtas nodded. "That is a good idea, It'll save me the trouble of having to worry about something like that happening then should anything happen to me." He then said as he adjusted a little the lighting of the body to turn red as he liked the color, it was his own bodies color anyway. The work had been tiring but he didn't need to rest or anything just yet and his idea of rest was meditation anyway. The body looked magnificent and he was glad for the time and chance to work with [member="Ultimatum"] on it, it had been a learning experience.

Ultimatum nodded. Yes, he had hoped that [member="Zrixtas"] would appreciate the little feature. Red, an interesting color decision. Not too surprising given the previous body's color. He had enjoyed the time building. It was really the first time he had worked alongside another being building something physical like this. He hoped that someday he could do so again. But for now he was glad to have accomplished this piece of work. "Well, I believe that that is finished now. What do you think?"

Zrixtas looked at [member="Ultimatum"] if he could smile he would. "I am very happy with what we have managed to build here. I am quite proud that we made this together." Zrixtas said as he opened the chest and took a small carver and signed his name into the inner plate of the chest. "I think we should both sign our work." He said as he handed Ultimatum the carver. It was far from a masterpiece but it was far better than his current body and in reality it was really all that mattered to Zrixtas about the body itself, however working with Ultimatum had been it's own real reward.

Ultimatum smiled as he took the carver and carefully wrote his signature onto the inner chest. He felt pride for the work accomplished, however he hoped that it would stand the test of time. Of course, he knew intellectually that at some point the droid body would need to be replaced, it was just a fact that it would wear out. Still, he hoped that it would last an unprecedented amount of time. He also hoped that he would get to see [member="Zrixtas"] again, the crystal life form had proven that it was more than competent and definitely a preferred companion to most organics.

"Well then, I guess that you have a finished body for a new home. Is there anything else that I can offer you?" Ultimatum asked.

Zrixtas shook his head a little at the question [member="Ultimatum"] asked him. "No You've already done more than enough, I think it should be me that should be asking if I could do anything for you?" He then said as he closed the chest of his new body and looked over the soon to be new home of his true body.

Ultimatum smiled as he responded. "Well, next time you're near the Mustafar system if you could pop in that would be great." Ultimatum laughed for a moment before continuing, "Joking aside, while I appreciate the gesture there is nothing that I could ask of you. If ever find yourself in need of a safe place to stay, just ask me. Just about any message sent to the Mustafarian government will come through my 'office'." Ultimatum didn't have a real office, as his entire governmental system was relegated to his mind. An actual office would be a waste of space, not that the current facility didn't have its fair share of wasted space. He didn't want to add to it.

Ultimatum pulled the outside lever away. Without so much as a snap the small piece of metal parted from a connector and was now in Ultimatum's hand. This left no visible mark on the body, though the connector could have a lever reattached at a later point if need be. He had decided that it might be a necessary precaution in the case of damage to the internal mechanism. He had planned for the possible eventualities as he saw it.

Zrixtas nodded and moved his hand in a handshake gesture. "I appreciate everything [member="Ultimatum"] and you can be sure that I will look in whenever I have the chance and am in the neighborhood." He chuckled a little. "So to speak." He then finished as he chuckled at his own little joke on relative distance and space. He watched Ultimatum remove the connector and reached out with the force to find the inside lever but didn't make it open as he'd save that for later.

Ultimatum nodded with a smiled on his face. He would miss this one's company. He looked for a moment on the new body, a home to a crystal life form. He had never met a crystal life before and he wondered if he would ever again. He hoped that he would once again meet [member="Zrixtas"], but the odds were unlikely. It was such a large galaxy that the likelihood of meeting a single person by chance was one of the most unlikely events. Certain there are things that have a smaller chance of happening, but that doesn't change the numbers. Still, Ultimatum could hope.

"I look forward to it. Would you like a lift to the spaceport?" Ultimatum asked with a deadpan voice, of it was very probably that he would want a lift, after all it was a nice long walk over one small lava river to reach the facility. One of the nice factors of Progenitor Facility.

Zrixtas chuckled a little. "I would actually, thank you." He replied to [member="Ultimatum"]'s question since it was a simple and a logical one to make in the current junction. He would most certainly remember Ultimatum and he'd most definitely try and come back to visit him if he ever got the chance to do so again.

"Alright then, let's get you in here and then you can be on your way." Ultimatum responded. He opened the crystal container in the chest of the droid. This was to be the home for the being for a long time, hopefully. So long as [member="Zrixtas"] didn't get into a losing fight the body would last a very long time. He hoped that the crystal being would have many memories made within this body.

He ordered Legion to bring the vehicle around and to have it ready to leave. He ordered it to take its occupants to the spaceport and to wait until there until it was certain that Zrixtas was safely on a ship.

Zrixtas allowed [member="Ultimatum"] to remove himself out of the old body and place himself into the new one and then took his old body along to the trip with Legion, Leaving behind his contact information with Legion as he boarded his ship. He propped his old body up in a small chamber he had made as a sort of hall of bodies aboard his ship. He took one last look at Mustafar as he was leaving the system and then initiated hyperjump and disappeared from the space above Mustafar.
