Drifting Space (Character Intro!)

Space, the final frontier. Used by all space faring people, necessary for trade between planets, and filled with horrors and unknowns. Often time ships are lost to the void, either through error of the crew, damages taken in battle, or something else unknown. It was here in the void that an old Raider-class corvette drifted through space. Somewhere between the Inner Rim and the Expansion Region it floated (left side of the map).

It was far from any planet, but still close enough that the pings it sent into the void could be heard. The ship had been silent for a long time, longer than it should've been, but its time was nearing an end. That's why it had begun to send pings out 2 days before, hoping that someone would hear, and someone would come and get the deadly cargo that was on board. All the while it sent pings into the void while proudly proclaiming its name, Dominus.

For anyone who knew where to look, that name would reveal things. Mainly that it had once served the Galactic Empire, and that it had vanished near the start of the Empire. Its cargo? None but the Emperor would know, and he was long dead and thus couldn't tell. However, scans of the ship would reveal 4 lifeforms, all concentrated in one area. They were all in the storage room, and the lifesigns were distorted, as if something was interfering with the operations.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The storage room lies at the center of the ship, and within it are 4 cryo pods. They are equally spaced from one another, 2 on each side of the rather spacious room. Upon each cryo pod is 1 prominent symbol, that of the Galactic Republic. However, it’s a mixture of the Galactic Republic and Galactic Empire symbol. It’s the symbol that came out at the end of the Clone Wars and beginning of the Galactic Empire.

Within each pod is a figure, each identical save for some markings and weapons. They all wear black armor with red markings, armor that is experimental phase 2 clone trooper armor (still has the fin). That coupled with one other notable feature, they each have some sort of hood on their helmets. It covers the fin on their heads and whatever symbols they may have on their upper helmets. Except one, with one some jagged points can be seen at the bottom of the hood, looking very similar to the Jaig Eye symbol. That same man has hazard stripes on his forearms.

The lifesigns come from these 4 pods, slowly and steadily. Aside from them, there wasn’t any sign of life anywhere else on the ship. All the other occupants were dead, their remains were here and there. In the bridge, they had all died at their stations, in the corridor’s guards lay crumbled and dead, naught but bones and some armor pieces, but nothing of value. Along with that, everywhere in the ship lights flickered at random, there was only minimum power on, so gravity was lower than normal too.

In fact, the only room where power was constant was the cargo hold, and thus the cryo pods. Within the cargo hold there was one prominent console, and connected to it were the 4 cryo pods. On the console itself were several buttons, but there was one main green button in the middle. The script on it looked like it could say open, but for what wasn’t fully clear, at least not without some thinking. But that was irrelevant, the green button in the middle basically called to be pushed, to be allowed to reveal its function, and the horror it would unleash.

Interstellar Space
Aboard the Myrkur
Artefacts called to him from across the Galaxy. Beings of interest or Power spoke to him regardless of distance. What drew him was Knowledge, Power, The Force.

But this. This was pure Chance.

"Four life signs, grouped, static and unconscious. Likely Cryo-sleep"

The Black Corvette's A.I announced to the Bridge. The Bridge's shutters were closed and a holo-display lit up the room. Accurate live-feeds from all around the ship, but focused on the drifting vessel. A single exposed eye gazed at the image before him. A small vessel, smaller than the Myrkur, but no less a Corvette. The panels flanking it betrayed its design, only to be confirmed by another announcement from the A.I.

"Galactic Empire Corvette. Raider-Class. Ancient design, solar panels and Ion engines."

A relic of the Empire, floating adrift in interstellar space. The Galaxy was full of mysteries.

A dark eye continued to analyse the image before him. Hands clasped behind his back. Four life signs, unconscious, aboard an ancient Imperial Corvette. Deciding it was worth the look, the Masked Darkness turned his back to the display and made his way out of the bridge.

Boots pounding down the hall with resounding thuds, a boarding party prepared to move with Orex at its head. Attitude Control engines fired in rapid succession, gradually bringing the Myrkur to Docking distance. Orex stood in the airlock, sabre hilt clipped to his belt and surrounded by 10 Vof Rector. Whirring from outside muffled through the walls as the Myrkur latched to the ancient vessel, followed by a loud thud. The Airlock lit up in a dark green and the airlock buzzed.

Pressurised air escaped from the Myrkur, desperately sprinting to fill the cold interior of the Raider. The boarding party moved ahead of Orex, filling out the immediate area, sweeping corners, encoded speech bouncing back and forth. Orex followed close behind, step by step. The vessel was cold, dark and dying. No surprises there. The Rector gave the all clear and began to navigate to the cargo hold, Orex close behind. Boots pounding in the freezing darkness, the group soon found themselves in the only active room. Ahead of them were cryopods and a control panel. Both being the only sources of light. A pair of Rector inspected the pods quickly and called over.

"Four Troopers. Unknown attire and insignia, living."

Orex approached the pods, passing his eye over the bodies within.

"Clones." The Vocoder of the Mask passed his voice deep and artificial. "Clone Troopers from the ancient Clone Wars."

Such a find was exciting, although Orex would not admit it. Orignal clones from all those years ago. And they were alive. True relics. Orex returned the control panel and briefly scanned it before setting his eye on the screaming green button. A moment's consideration as his hand wavered above the button, then he pushed.

The world around Ravenous was a blur and everything in it became figments of his imagination. His constant detachment from the galaxy around him has caused the man trouble on more than one occasion but he persisted removing himself from the binds of reality at every opportunity. His eyes snapped open at the mention of an old imperial raider old in design and manufacturing. Interesting to say the very least. Ravenous intrigued rose from his chair and walked over to the Holo-Display in the middle of the room as to get a better view.

"Cryo-Pods an ancient ship and warped lifesigns. The Force is blasting danger signals through my body...But my gut warned me prior."

Ravenous proceeded with [member="Orex Mauda"] and the Rector towards the airlock adventure and discovery patiently beckoning from the other side. He pulled his hood over his head and adjusted his Saber hilt taking care that it doesn't linger behind. The Indigo crystal pleaded with Ravenous begging him to ignite it and strike down his foes with his might. Ever since The Mask Ravenous had been reluctant in using his force abilities...And that included use of his loyal weapon. He was more than surprised to see it went from a Crimson Red to an Indigo purple in the middle of a training session. Even further his Lightsaber was charged with more Force energy than is normal and began to crackle with power completely blowing away enemies who found themselves at the mercy of its might.

The Door slid open realising all the built up pressure built inside from what could honestly be weeks of drifting. He advanced into the potentially hostile ship soldiers flooding the hallways and bringing back all sorts of memories...None of them gave any sense of emotion. It was a strange and potentially limiting feeling, For a while now Ravenous' emotions have grown more distant with time and boiled essentially cutting off his rage and punching a gaping hole in his power.

Lifeforms presented themselves through the Force alerting him to the nature of their genetic makeup.

"Clone Troopers? Of all things I could have encountered this is by far the worst."

Everything busted open premonitions of horror and death flooded Ravenous' mind. A great entity or entity's were aboard the Raider and they were most definity enemies...

...They die like all the rest

*Ping*

Inner Rim and the Expansion Region
2 days later
The vessel touched down within the ghost of a ship. Adonari hadn't been able to believe his ears when the assignment was given to him. Search and rescue? On a ghost ship that just happened to come up on scanners due to it's untimely pinging. He was no genius but even he could put two and two together.... This was the very reason he had taken the assignment. If he took the assignment then he knew for sure no one else would be put in harms way.
The mountain of a Nautulan finished his report on the insignia on the side of the massive floating relic, and readings from scans of life forms on the vessel, then ceased the hologram recording. The council leaders of the Silver Jedi would be curious to say the least with the outcome of his mission. Curiosity touched his emotions giving way to caution. Although his mission was one of search and rescue the Master had no intentions of walking into a trap. A fight for no gain was the last thing he wished to put himself in the middle of. Still he had no intentions of ignoring the premonitions that had touched his conscious throughout his meditations of late. The words of [member="Ben Watts"], his Master and long time friend, rang through his ears, "Trouble is what you get when you go looking for it."
The jedi casually stepped from the vessel as the loading bay door lightly touched the floor. The hooded massive jedi cloaked in dark grey robes, as well as from the force using his abilities in force stealth, moved briskly through a door leading towards the heart of the vessel where the life forms had been registered on scanners.

Once the button was pushed, several things happened at once. First, the lights flickered, dimming down before returning to their full brightness. Second, a light came forth from each of the pods, they flew around the room, scanning everything and everyone before beeping once and vanishing. Finally, once the scan was complete, the pods opened in a hiss of released pressurized air and groaning of underused gears. Each of the pod doors went up, slowly, until finally they were up completely, and those within were now ready to be unleashed. From each pod, those with the Force would be able to feel cold, calculating minds, minds that were also filled with hatred and yet, knew so much more than they let on.

It’s time to wake up. That voice, it was new, at least that’s what Venandi thought, for he hadn’t ever heard it before. However, that was irrelevant now, because as Venandi opened his eyes, he saw them. People who he’d never before witnessed were here, ones that were strange to him, and ones that had apparently released him from the cryo pod. Then, in the next moment, the pods gave him the information it had garnered from its scan.

The information there wasn’t much, but it was enough. It told him the strength of his enemies, and who was the closest to him([member="Orex Mauda"]). 11 enemies in total, not enough to cause Venandi and his brothers trouble, hopefully. Then again, the scan also told him than a very long time had passed, but how long exactly was unknown. But that wasn’t important just then, because in that moment Venandi regained contact with his brothers and they began to speak. Their private channel was heavily encrypted, and the language they spoke was known to no one but themselves.

As they spoke, they remained motionless, only their eyes moving. But then they stopped, having come to an agreement. Whoever these people were, they were unknown variables, and potentially hostile, and so they would act as if they were. But not use deadly force, only intimidation. As one, the 4 troopers stepped forth from their respective pods. Venandi was closest to the unknown who had released them, well there was another who was close, but in their talks they had discussed what to happen.

In unison, 3 of the troopers smoothly drew their DC-17 blaster pistols and aimed at the 10 unknowns. They all had duel DC-17s, and thus, 6 of the 10 were covered by the 3 troopers. Venandi himself took 3 quick steps forward and was next to the unknown who had freed them, one blaster aimed at him, the other aimed at one of the unknowns. All in all, 7 of the 10 unknowns were covered, and the 11th person, the one who had freed them, was covered as well. But the 4 clones weren’t even fazed by the fact that 3 of the unknowns were wide open to begin firing. Their hearts were cold, and their aim steady. Despite all the years, they were still very efficient.

Venandi himself stared at the man before him([member="Orex Mauda"]). His eyes were cold and hard, but unseen behind his helmet, but the raw cunning and coldness of his soul was felt in the Force. Venandi quickly scanned the man before him with his helmet again, and then aimed his pistol at the weak point at the neck. Then he spoke, voice cold, hard, and filled with deadly intent.
“Speak quickly, and explain everything. For the only reason you are not dead yet is that you released me and mine.” Then it was but a waiting game, to see what information this one had, and to learn more, and woe be unto the bearer of bad news.

Aboard the Myrkur

Darkness surrounded the Master.... Adonari slammed his fist into the control panel of the elevator. Lights flickered. Then hit him with the high beams. "Gaaahhh. What kind of no brained tool built these old ships?" One more swing and the Jedi Master found himself shrouded in darkness once again. "If you're trying to give me a sign I'm not sure if I understand what you're trying to tell me there 'force'." As the Jedi Master had grown older he had learned to find the humor in his surroundings. Something his Master had always done so casually and yet so well. The doors of the elevator slowly creeped open showing a scene between [member="Ravenous"], [member="Venandi"], and [member="Orex Mauda"] that Adonari would have given anything to have avoided. The massive Nautulan stepped quickly to the side pressing his back up against the side of the elevator in an attempt to not be seen. His massive index finger hitting the 'door close' button repeatedly.

Orex watched as the pods hissed open. The troopers inside remained motionless and silent until they began talking in an encrypted language. The Rector present began to slowly lift their rifles, training them on the unmoving troopers as they spoke. Slowly, they left their pods, spreading out and returning the caution with blaster pistols of their own. Orex did not move, and he offered no resistance when the most decorated trooper paced up to him and stuck a pistol to his neck.

A bold move.

Orex slowly moved his hands from the control panel and gently placed one on top of the lightsaber clipped to his armour. He did not remove it, simply emphasised it. He returned the Gaze into [member="Venandi"], allowing that which lurked within his Mask to have its influence, gripping his life by its roots.

"Grant yourself lucky you were uncovered by myself and Superiex Ravenous and not some mindless Sith or Jedi." His Vocoded Mask passed his voice low and artificial. Orex allowed his hand to slip from his Hilt as he slowly clasped them behind his back. "On that note, a history lesson. I suppose your Jedi Generals never told you grunts of their war machine much about what it was they were fighting. They certainly didn't after you were brainwashed into slaughtering almost all of them. Something I can't say I don't admire." Orex's ear pricked. That Chatter in the Force he heard when drawn to a Force-Sensitive Entity. He heard it now. And it was close.

"You almost did my job for me.." He muttered. Then returned his gaze to the bold Trooper.

"You've been in stasis for almost 900 years. Whoever you served under are dust. The only reason you are alive.." And taking such a massive risk with that Pistol, Orex thought.. "Is because of Me."

An elevator behind them opened slowly. Orex felt a brief panic wash through the room. The Chatter of his senses was shouting now and so whoever it was who was here, they were in that Elevator. Orex's hand snapped from his back and outstretched towards the elevator. He gripped the doors as they began to close and held them open. He kept his gaze on Venandi while they three unthreatened Rector turned their rifles to the Elevator and began to approach.

Ravenous pushed through the hallway making his way towards the room where his senses were leading him only to come across [member="Orex Mauda"] in front of a control panel with a rather enticing red button in the middle. Orex pressed it as soon as Ravenous entered the room causing the capsules to slowly open themselves the squeaks revealing how many times it could have been opened...Two at maximum. It was few seconds before the clones decided to make a move but when they did it was vindictive to say the least.

The sound of their charged blasters echoed through the room and alerting Ravenous to their lethal intent this being confirmed once the ring leader but a gun to the back of Orex's skull. Ravenous almost went for his lightsaber but caught himself seemingly pinned down by three other troopers blasters at the ready. Suddenly a presence was felt though It was less of a feeling and more of a filling. The corruption in the force himself and Orex had brought with them essentially killed the Force around them while still preserving part of it...Part they could manipulate.

It was then the screeching of elevator door and the frantic attempts to close them were heard, The doors almost closed before being halted by Orex who was now reaching across the room with his power. It time to make his move, With one arm he violently threw two of the clones across the room hopefully taking out part of the threat. With is other palm he ripped himself across the room launching himself at [member="Venandi"], He grabbed his Lightsaber and used the Force to overheat the blaster so it wouldn't long enough for Orex to get out of the way.

He slashed downwards attempting to cut the DC-17. His palm extended trying to grab the clone by the helmet and lift him above the ground. Ravenous' cold stare was shrouded by his hood to everyone except Venandi

"Tell me Clone...How did you expect to defeat us? Did you think you could just slaughter us all with your enhanced combat capabilities? Let me tell you something...My power is inconceivable to you but this is something you won't understand."

Ravenous felt a tingling sensation wash over his body the corruption in the Force within him calling for blood but he had learned restraint against it.

Venandi and his brothers were calm, dangerously so. Even when [member="Orex Mauda"] emphasized the lightsaber on his belt, Venandi was confident. He'd killed Force users before, he could do so again. But that gaze, the gaze from his mask was disquieting to say the least. He felt himself losing strength, as if simply being looked at by this being sapped him of power. The man who had released him spoke again then, saying he was lucky that he had found him, and not some Jedi or Sith. Snarling to himself, Venandi shook his head angrily, getting the drain somewhat out of his head.
"Lucky you say? I've killed countless of those fools, what's a few more?" He said in an angry manner, trying to control himself, but the drain on him had shaken him.

Not looking at the man was good for not being affected, but he still had to keep an eye on him. So, Venandi focused on where his weapon was pointed, and not on the mans face. Then he said that Venandi was a grunt, that simple statement brought a feeling of resentment up in him and his brothers. They were far more than regs, and far better. Snarling at him, Venandi shook his head at the man angrily but didn't say anything as the man kept talking. He reigned his anger in, and quirked an eyebrow slightly at the fact that [member="Orex Mauda"] admired the clones for killing the Jedi.
"They die the way everyone else does, a blaster shot to the skull does work wonders on ending life."

Then he said that they'd been in stasis for almost 900 years. That information rocked Venandi and his brothers. Their shock was evident in the Force, but it was slowly replaced by a cold and calculating detachment. Venandi himself was quiet, mulling that information over. But anger replaced it as well, the only reason they were alive?! Pompous fool thought Venandi. Then the voice in his head spoke again, What he says is true, to a degree. Best hear him out, brother. Brother? thought Venandi, but that was something for later. For now, Venandi wasn't done just yet, so he spoke once more.
"Oh, only because of you?" He gave a derisive laugh, one filled with scorn. "Do you expect me and mine to bow down to you now? Do you want us to serve you then, simply because we are alive because of you?! Then you're even more foolish than I thought, really and truly foolish."

He was going to say more, and had even started another word when [member="Ravenous"] suddenly attacked. The Force push from him wasn't nearly as effective as one would expect, especially against mere clones. Their denser muscles and heavier bodies kept them from going flying, but they were pushed back a few meters. However, the attacker had forgotten the other clone, even as he rushed at Venandi. Said clone snarled as well, angered that they had been attacked so. He made to throw some grenades at the Rector, but Venandi stopped him with a short comms burst. That same burst was also sent to his other two brothers.

Grudgingly, the 3 troopers stood down, not doing anything to the one who had attacked them. Instead they held their weapons at their sides, because for them, it seemed as if there were 2 different parties here. They stood so as to keep an eye on the Rector and the coming fight. If they were attacked again, they'd fight back, but for now, Venandi wanted to deal with the pompous fool. Laughing lowly and dangerously, Venandi said something quietly to [member="Orex Mauda"] before focusing on [member="Ravenous"].
"We'll see what happens and talk more, but for now I'm going to beat this fools head in."

With that, Venandi turned his full attention to the man attacking him. Snarling wordlessly behind his helmet, Venandi took a step back, easily dodging the swing from the man. He pulled his DC-17s closer to him, the one that had been aimed at Orex practically useless thanks to the overheating, but the other was still fully functional. Venandi didn't want to use it though, he wanted to embarrass the man. However, Venandi idly noticed [member="Adonari Cinn"] arrive and try to leave while Orex held him there. But that wasn't concerning for him, the one attacking him did.

The man asked how he'd defeat them, and Venandi gladly responded as the man reached for him. That response came in the form of his blaster. As the man reached for him, Venandi brought his left arm up and on the inside of the mans grab. Now aiming his blaster right at the mans face, Venandi returned the cold stare with his own.
"That's how you ridiculous man. I've killed your kind before, and their power didn't save them, why should yours save you."

Venandi didn't pull the trigger on the blaster pistol, merely aimed it at the mans face, the entire time returning the cold stare. His brothers laughed loudly, purposefully doing so to goad the man into making a rash move. Meanwhile, Venandi dropped his arm to his side, spun around to the side and stood behind the console. Now it was between himself and the two unknowns, one who had attacked him, and one who had freed him. A quick glance revealed that the one in the elevator was a Jedi, a fact that should've made Venandi want to kill him, but for now he didn't. Turning his gaze back to [member="Orex Mauda"], but making sure not to gaze into the Mask, Venandi spoke once more. He spoke as if he hadn't just been attacked, as if it were a regular normal conversation.
"So, you were saying that I'm alive only because of you? Not hardly kid, not hardly. But please do explain, your history lesson was rather lacking. What has happened since the time of the Clone War and the rise of the Galactic Empire, and who are the ruling powers in the galaxy currently?"

Venandi and his men were outwardly calm, but inside, they were preparing for a fight. They'd blast their way out of this situation if they had to, and it seemed like they might have to. For now though, they would be the "good guys" and not attack first. It all boiled down to what their enemy here would do. All four of them had their blaster pistols out but at their sides, they could aim and fire them in an instant if need be, but restrained that urge for now.

Orex listened to the Clone’s responses. He was unaware, blind to his situation. Orex was beginning to pin Arrogance to the man as he laughed in his face. But he felt the realisation within him. Perhaps it was a front, this confident ego the clone exuded, either way, the clone was shaken, and Orex felt it.

Before he could continue his monologue however, Ravenous threw a push towards a few of the clones and leapt into an attack. Orex did not move, he turned his head to watch as Ravenous engaged the small group. A few blasters were cut but the ringleader seemed more capable than that, evading Ravenous and quickly bringing him into a hold. Orex Glanced toward the Elevator within which the Jedi stood, the two Rector still had him secured. He returned his gaze to see the Ringleader had moved from Ravenous and had begun talking again.

As the clone finished, Orex composes himself. He looked At the clone but spoke to Ravenous first,

“These men are Relics, Ravenous. They are not the same as those we hunt.” He flashed an angered look toward his fellow Superiex before returning his attention to the Clone.

“An exceptional clone but one not good at quelling his ego. You’ve been in this cargo hold for 900 years. Much longer and this ship would have run out of power. You would have Died.” He stepped toward the Clone, anger tinting his deep, vocoded voice, “your assumptions are rash, Clone. Calm yourself..”. He leaned in slightly and lowered his voice “..Before you issue another threat.” His own threat seeded deeply within his statement. He straightened up again and observed the other Clones.

“The Galactic Empire is long dead but it’s influence still remains. The core is infested with fanatics who worship Palpatine as if he were a deity. They are a powerful entity with control over many planets” Orex frowned, “but they are insignificant. You’re efforts to slaughter the Jedi, as successful as they were, bore no fruit. They are back and in much greater numbers. They call themselves The Silver Jedi and their dominion spans a large portion of this torn Galaxy. So too does the Sith, their age old rivals. They are perhaps the greatest Force, their military is unmatched”

Orex returned himself to the Clone, gazing beside his shoulder. “You’ve entered a fractured Galaxy. You’re kind is outdated and out of place. The Force runs rampant almost everywhere, myself and Ravenous are a testament to this. What you knew as a Clone is immaterial. The only part of you left that is of value here is your ability to Kill. War is the new norm”. Orex felt anger, the same he felt against the galaxy itself.

“And it never ends”

The elevator doors froze. A ding noise sounded alerting that something obstructed it's path. It dinged again, then again, then Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding... Adonari let out a soft sigh. So much for that idea. His hands lifted the hood on his shoulders over his head before crossing his arms by pushing his hands into the opposite sleeve and moved out of the two doors with his head down.

"These are not the clones you are looking for." he said from his diaphragm in a deep rumbling tone. He couldn't help himself. He looked up. A hug smile on his face. His arms uncrossed as he moved to take his hood down. The physical action he completed while speaking, "No I'm just joking everyone. I was actually looking for a bathroom. You wouldn't, by chance, know where one would happen to be would you?"

Demitry had been told where to head by Orex, and had attempted to follow the instructions. The issue was, he'd read the map the wrong way around and had been flying in the wrong direction for hours before he finally realised the error of his ways. As he finally approached the ship, he began to idly fiddle with his coat and the hilt of his lightsaber. It had been around a year since he had any contact with anyone except those he'd received lessons from. As the ship touched down in the other ship, he disembarked and began to fit his mask onto his face. He ignited one of the lightsabers strapped to his belt, and held it out infront of himself as a torch of sorts looking around for anyone or anything. Right as he began to think Orex had left, he stumbled into the room. "Alright?" A grin crept onto his lips as he looked around the room

The troops were sprawled out inside the Corvette as the ship bolted through hyperspace. One of the troopers lay reclined, helmetless, and staring up at the ceiling with a toothpick in his mouth, another was fixing himself some coffee at a counter, A third was lifting doing pushups in the corner and Andrew, well, he was watching everyone.

"Hey, Mike, how long you s'pose this transfer is gonna take? My stomach's killing me and I ain't had good food in a while, this sh1t the 'Royal Army' supplies isn't exactly made for a king."

The man who was laid back with his feet up swung them down and leaned forward, pulling the toothpick from his mouth and smirked, "We fight for the Emperor, but we sure as hell don't eat like him." With a smirk on his face, he nodded up at the man in the corner who was beginning to stand, "Hey bossman, when are we getting out of this sh1thole?"

"Soon Mike, you and Drew stop complaining, we got only a few more hours till we-" The ship rumbled and a single alarm blared over the loudspeakers. "C' mon guys, let's go see what's happening. The troops grabbed their gear as the leader looked at the man at the counter, "C'mon John, let's go."

"Sure thing Carter." The man tipped back his head and chugged the last drink of his dark roasted drink and grabbed his helmet. The men all quickly stormed out the room and marched to the bridge, helmets in their hands.

The door to the bridge slid open as the troopers of squad stepped in. The captain of the vessel was hunched over talking to a man at a communications screen, attempting to discretely communicate through the massive helmet upon the comms officer's head. He pointed at the screen and mumbled something else before sitting upright and turning to the stormtroopers who had just entered. He walked up to Carter and inspected his armor up and down.

"Sergeant, how's the squad?"

"Good Sir, what seems to be the problem?"

"Well, it appears that some vessel is drifting just out of our sensor range. We are unsure exactly, but believe it to be an old imperial raider class. Our goal is to get in contact, but any attempts to heil it have failed."

"No disrespect captain, but wouldn't a reasonable person expect no one home from an almost 900-year-old ship drifting between stars?"

"In normal circumstances, but the issue is there appears to be no external damage," Carter gave a puzzled expression, "Gentlemen, I want to know what is aboard that ship, it could contain anything, and if it holds important data, it could propel the Imperium once again on the course of greatness. I'm gonna dispatch you to investigate, get there, check it out, and get back. Preferably in one piece please."

"Sir Yes Sir!" The squad stomped in unison as the Captain finished.

"Then get moving."

The stormtroopers slid on their helmets and turned around, Carter taking point, followed by Mike, John, and Andrew, they marched single file towards the docking port to board their small transport.

The door slid open to the transport and the lights flickered on, followed by the charging noise of the main battery atop the small vessel. The troops dropped their weapon bags on a shelf and pulled their weapons out as John took the controls. Mike looked around in the lightly fogged room.

"I can smell the must from this ship through my filter."

"Shut up Mike," Andrew barked.

The vessel hummed to life as the turbine spun up with a satisfying hum as the engines began their charge. John flipped a few switches and turned some dials as systems began to power up before turning to the troops, "Strap in guys."

The squad sat and strapped down in this little junker as it rattled to life. There was an ear-wrenching clunking as the ship slowly pulled away from the Corvette's docking port. Near the door, there was the rush of wind as gas quickly poured into the room, finishing the preasurized seal. The ship tipped up it's nose and increased speed, zipping towards the Raider.

"This is transport 1-1, or the HMS Alexander II, Corvette of the Fel Imperium, please respond." Carter haulted for a moment before beginning againg, "We are responding to the pings?"

There was nothing but static over the radio.

"Vessel, please respond, we don't wan't to intrude, but we will." There was nothing more then static again, "Prepare for boarding."

The little transport zoomed up to a docking port and connected with the same ear wrenching clicks as the last, echoing throughout both ships. Andrew stood, followed by the rest, and grabbed his rifle. He quickly calibrated the sights and flipped off the safety. The others did the same before Carter stepped to the door and held up his fist.

"Column on me, Combat spread."

The troops quickly fell in, Andrew began sweating under his helmet, dispite his climate control on overload, he felt as though he was experiencing heat exhaustion. He had never before gone in blind and was nervous.

"Let's move."

The door slid open and the troops marched out as the door slid shut behind them. The group cautiously and quietly made their way down the hallway. Just because they announced their arrival with the extremely loud docking, didn't mean they had to be known to be on board.

Ravenous stared down the barrel of Venandi's pistol seemingly unfazed by his quick reaction to his advance but it didn't matter anyway he had gotten what he wanted. Examining the counter to his attack he deduced that these men were hyper-reactive to stimuli and Physically and mentally enhanced. The gun pointed at his face he simply tilted his head and used the force to tear the gun from his hand pinning it to the wall behind him. With that he leapt back igniting his lightsaber on the way while taking up a defensive form.

He waited for an attack ready to defend himself at a moments noticed, It was then he took notice of a Jedi behind him immediately sparking his inferno of rage. His snarky comment made him seem mature but his stance in the force was blossoming...A master.

"Yeah it's down the hall to the left I can show you...in the dark...with no one else but me and my blade."

The moment he finished his sentence he felt a verge in the force...more people. He peered deeper into the force and identified who it was, Stormtroopers of all things and perhaps worse they were so noisy. His head slowly rotated to look at [member="Orex Mauda"].

"Mauda there is a potentially hostile ship outside and they brought soldiers notably stormtroopers."

His attention turned towards the clones seemingly complacent in their movement.

"Maybe you all can bond over your love of the emperor and hatred of the Jedi, Heck i'm surprised you haven't already fired on the Jedi."

Andrew and his squad moved slowly down the hallway, weapons drawn. The team was quiet and in a diamond formation, Andrew was hugging the right wall, John on the left, Carter taking point, and Mike in the rear. The hallway was dark, and the gravity was barely functioning in this part of the ship. Mike looked towards Carter,

"Ey boss, I dun like this, It's really quiet."

Carter moved towards a cross intersection and halted, "I agree, I detected life forms as we were landing, but it is silent." Carter peaked both sides, then turned left, John hugged the wall, peaked and quickly moved the corner, sticking to the left, Andrew held his weapon up and flashed it's barrel flashlight down the right hallway and slowly moved, he turned the intersection and stayed to the side, after he passed, Mike walked backwards, peaking behind him and down all the Halls as he rounded.

"All clear bossman."

Mike followed in behind as the troops inched forwards.

Carter's fist shot up and the whole team froze, off in the distance there was a voice.

"Mauda there is a potentially hostile ship outside, and they brought soldiers, notably stormtroopers."

Carter slowly motioned forwards and muted his external voice amplifier, turning to his internal microphone, "Everyone stay close, They know we are here."
The troopers inched up to a hole in the haul that overlooked a room filled with people, a few of them wore strange and near-identical armor. The men were at gunpoint, and it appeared the individuals in robes were the aggressors. Carter nodded over to Mike and they both grabbed a side of the busted durasteel sheet-metal and pulled, with a few tugs and a loud creak, which got the attention of the room's occupants, the troopers pulled open a hole large enough to pass through.

"Calibrate your shock absorbers, it's a fall."

There was the sound of a unanimous pressure build up as Mike threw himself through the hole, Andrew, John, and Carter followed. The squad landed hard on the floor, bending their knees and raising their blasters as the sound of a hydraulic release rushed from the knees of the troopers. The soldiers were in a wedge with weapons drawn on the cloaked men.

"Hands where we can see them, everyone drop your damn weapons!" Andrew barked at the group, echoing throughout the open room.

"Please cooperate and no-one has to get hurt!"

With his blaster aimed at [member="Ravenous"], Venandi felt very confident and smug. Then the pistol was pulled out of his hand by use of the Force, before the man jumped back for reasons only he knew. Shaking his head, Venandi recalled the pistol to his grip using a thin strand of rope. Grinning behind his helmet, Venandi was more than ready to fight, and he sorely wanted to as well. But fate would not let it be, [member="Adonari Cinn"] spoke and took Ravenous' attention. Looking for a bathroom? Venandi scoffed aloud at that, it was obviously supposed to be a joke, same as the clones quote thing, but Venandi wasn't in the mood for it.

However, before he could say anything, [member="Ravenous"] spoke, threatening the Jedi. Venandi could get behind that, but with himself and Ravenous, oh and some blaster pistols. But before he could suggest it, the blasted fool spoke once more and said that there were hostiles inbound. Then something about stormtroopers and some love for the Emperor. Venandi and his men laughed darkly, they held no love for that old sac of flesh, much less those who came after them and were no doubt worse than they.

Smiling in anger behind his helmet, Venandi made a motion with his head. Immediately his men moved to him and stood to either side of him. One was on his right and two on his left. They still had their pistols out, but hanging at their sides. Each and every single one of them was ready for violence, and they all wanted it, but they wouldn't start it, no. To start it in such a situation would show that side who attacked first to be weaker, and insecure. Venandi and his men were neither.

Standing there quietly, Venandi observed those in the room. While he was confident in a great many things, he had also been rattled by how long had passed, but did his best to hide that fact. Thus when [member="Orex Mauda"] spoke to [member="Ravenous"], Venandi merely listened, but he did note the angered look. But when Orex turned to him, Venandi felt himself stiffen, his body preparing itself, but for what, not even he knew. Ego? EGO? Venandi had earned the right to be a little egotistical, and he knew it and many others had known it. But it seemed that no one knew it now adays, but that was to be expected, what with almost 900 years having passed.

"I have no need to quell my ego, I've earned the right through years of battle to be the way I am." He grated out, some anger in his voice. "Oh, I know what would've happened if the ship had run out of power, well before it did really. My ship would've released me and mine and then used its last remaining dregs of power to head to the nearest planet. You see buddy, we would've gotten out one way or another eventually. Only now, it's you who has released us on the galaxy, not fate." Venandi and his men chuckled darkly at that, their thoughts wandering to blood not yet spilt.

His assumptions were rash? Venandi couldn't help but chuckle at the thought and even when he heard the anger in Orex's voice, he couldn't care. He and his men then listened as they got another little history lesson, one about the Galactic Empire and where it still stood. So, the faction they had once owed allegiance to was basically gone. Good enough for them, they may have agreed with the Empires ways, but would also like to go their own way. Oh, more Jedi to kill, wonderful thought Venandi to himself.
"Good enough for me." said Venandi, in regards to the Galactic Empire. "More Jedi to kill, what fun. I'll get around to that eventually."

When Orex returned his gaze to Venandi, he felt the power once more and shuddered slightly. Oh, war that never ends? Good thing he was built for it, and was very good at it.
"Wonderful, and I do mean it. I hope that people aren't so squishy about war crimes now adays? Or what people call war crimes, but what is really collateral damage." His tone was genuinely curious, but it also held a hint of maniacal glee in it.

More come, are you ready for them "old one." That voice, it was back. Only Venandi heard it, and it was grating on his nerves, because he wasn't insane. Oh, but perhaps you are more than you thought, but that's not important, turn around and look. The voice said, Venandi did what is said and looked behind himself. What he saw brought a grin to his face; behind him on the wall was a control panel, and one Venandi knew very well. In all the confusion he had forgotten it, but now it wouldn't leave his mind. He told his brothers of the panel, and their excitement was as big as his own.

Turning from everyone else in the room, Venandi didn't notice [member="Demitry Draskovits"] arrive, he was too focused on the control panel. Walking to it, Venandi dusted it off with a gloved hand. Then he entered a code into the panel, too quick to be seen, but he still shielded the view panel with his body. With a hiss and a loud groan, the wall sunk into itself before turning around slowly. It protested and showed that it had certainly been used more often than the cryo pods, but still not for almost 900 years.

Within the wall were 4 racks of weapons, each jam packed with various weapons and other destructive tools. Letting out a loud chuckle, Venandi went to one while his brothers went to separate ones. It was obvious that each rack was for one of them, but what could be achieved with them was something else. It took only a minute for all 4 of the clones to be fully armed with various weapons, and there were still more left on each rack, more specialized or destructive tools. Clicking a button, Venandi watched silently as the wall receded into itself once more before nothing was distinguishable from the rest.

Chuckling, Venandi hefted the Z6 in his hands before turning to the assembled people. His 3 brothers also hefted their weapons, but none of them aimed their guns, yet. One had a rocket launcher in one hand with a DC-15s in the other, the second had a pair of DC-15s' and a DC-15a on his back, the third held a wookie bowcaster in both hands and had a DC-15s strapped to his back. That was without mentioning the various grenades and the pair of DC-17 blaster pistols in their hip holsters. Chuckling once more, Venandi stepped forward, followed closely by his brothers. He was about to speak up when [member="PFC Andrew Miller"] suddenly came crashing in.

A pleasant surprise came to Venandi and his brothers when he noticed that this new group was aiming at [member="Ravenous"], [member="Orex Mauda"], [member="Adonari Cinn"], and [member="Demitry Draskovits"]. Chuckling in wry amusement, Venandi added his mens firepower to the mix, in that they all aimed their weapons at [member="Ravenous"]. Sure, he may work for/with [member="Orex Mauda"], but only he had been aggressive in open hostilities and attacking them. Grinning behind his helmet, Venandi did have one of his men, the one with the bowcaster, keep an eye more on the newcomers. They could still be hostile to him and his men.

"Well then lads, it's been fun, but I do think it's time to end this. My brothers and I need to fix this ship and get power. We have places to be, things to do, and people to kill. Do what you may, but touch anything and you'll regret it, try to stop us, and you'll be dead." Venandi and his brothers chuckled darkly at that before walking forward.

With that said, Venandi and his brothers began to make their way to the elevator. They kept their weapons pointed at the Rector and Ravenous, while the one with the bowcaster also kept an eye on the newcomers and the one with the duel DC-15s had an eye on Mauda. Even though their actions showed one thing, within the Force, each and every single one of them wanted to be attacked, they wanted someone to start the bloodhshed. They were all more than confident in their ability to be able to beat these people here. To showcase this further, as Venandi and his men walked, they purposefully tried to bump into any person they passed. But they didn't say a word, instead kept walking towards the elevator while keeping an eye on all the people around them.

Orex turned his head to the Jedi. He looked him up and down, his veins filling with dark desire as he gazed at him. And all he did was make jokes. The man was confident, like the clones. But it was a self-destructive confidence. Ravenous began to assist the man, then threatened him. Orex glanced to Ravenous as he returned to the Clone, he was awfully confused. Orex took his Saber into one hand and gripped it tight.

He noted the approaching men. He could feel them coming and hear their signatures in the Force. They would be easy. But the clones in front of him were a different situation. Orex was getting impatient of listening to the back and forth and began analysing each clone with his eye. The ringleader continued in his confident monologues. Eager to kill Jedi and spouting about how a few battles earns him the right to swim in his abilities. Pitiful. But what caught his attention was his disdain for what people regarded as War Crimes. The man was not just confident, egotistical. He was brutal. A specialist with no regard for wartime morals.

Perhaps he could still be of use. But that immature mind had to go.

The ringleader turned away and took himself to a wall of the ship. A few movements of his arms and the wall receded, revealing aa hefty armoury. Orex glanced at the surrounding Rector, to which they responded by training their weapons yet again on the clones. But Orex's attention had moved to the incoming troopers, who now came crashing through a hole above them. They composes themselves and began aiming their weapons on seemingly everyone with a lightsaber.

Orex could feel a vein in his head swelling. This was... More than frustrating. Anger was something he had kept roped in for this engagement, but the arrival of a Jedi, the unbearable ego of the Clones and the Troopers who had now put themselves in critical danger of their life, were all piling up on Orex, and he felt it. He looked to Ravenous, using the Force to convey a feeling of Anger, then looked to Demitry. The time for friendly reunion would have to wait, he gazed at him and did the same. The three now felt what Orex felt, anger and the seething desire to destroy everything in the room.

Orex looked back to the ringleader who was now concluding the conversation.

"Try to stop us, and you'll be dead".

They began to make their way forward, Orex clenched his jaw. One of them walked past him, but quite deliberately shouldered him along the way. And that was it. That was the final inkling of blatant ignorance Orex would tolerate. He looked to the Rector, all with their guns on the Clones. A moment of silence with only the Clones boots to offer noise.

"Fire on the white troopers."

Immediately, the Rector all spun to face the loud group of barking troopers, and opened fire.

Orex glanced to both [member="Ravenous"] and [member="Demitry Draskovits"] , "Avoid killing the Clones"

As the Rector began to pull their triggers, Orex grabbed the first Clone who had bumped him by the throat, and threw him with raw anger across the room, then faced the rest of them, and ignited his Saber. A faint red glow surrounded a Black blade as it sparked into the floor.

The weapons in the hands of the enemy forces turned down another hallway and began opening fire. Screams of pain filled his ears ~

The world before him snapped back into place. A moment of clarity had touched his mind in the memory-esk precognition. The weapons of the soldiers standing before him just starting to move. Adonari's eyes turned from pitch black white hot. A gentle touch harnessed by a powerful focus on pushing the aim of the blasters in the enemies hands, who were standing around the three beings talking, towards the floor released from the Jedi.

The massive seven foot Master Jedi had not come for a fight. A resolution was his only option for getting everyone out alive. His words spoke in a loud calm tone, "I did not come here to fight any of you. All is not lost. You have not attacked me and I have not attacked you. Let us all go about our lives without having to turn this into a fight. You go your way and everyone else can go there's."

Ravenous was drowning in an ocean of his own rage. With each passing moment another droplet of anger was added to this body, Every word that came out of the clones mouth added oil to the concoction. His eyes were burning with rage and he was visibly shaking, Writhing in agony and fantasizing of putting all of their helmets inside his room...with the heads still inside. He pulled his hood tighter over his head and looked towards the clones direction his anger emitting itself in the force.

"Its both awe inspiring and shameful that your 800 years old but are the only children in the room."

His eyes began to glow a bright red when he noticed his enemy was arming itself with all manner of weapons...And almost every single one was aimed at him. He once again took up a defensive stance and readied himself as he began to slowly advance on the clones. It was then he'd had barely taken 3 steps that [member="PFC Andrew Miller"] and his squad came barging in demanding that he and his associates surrender.

It was then his rage had become greater than his psyche in terms of control. His cloaked billowed projecting Ravenous as a omen of darkness. To his surprise the clones didn't immediately begin to fire. Instead they aimed their weapons at the group and inched their way towards the elevator his left. They were oozing with confidence their expressions condensing in nature.

"Try to stop us and you'll be dead."

They walked towards the exit weapons at the ready...But he saw it in their stride. They were purposely bumping into anyone they passed and it ticked off [member="Orex Mauda"] he felt it. The purity of his anger was like a dagger to the heart one Ravenous had been struck with many times before. He saw his comrade turn towards the Rector ready to gun down anyone within a single whim of one of the Superiex's mouths. when the order to attack came rage filled the room crushing objects in the room, Lightning shot from Ravenous striking indiscriminately everything around him...Foe or Friend.

The power emitting from him was more than merely an electrical burst, It was the pure and unkempt manifestation of his wrath. It stock piled itself through the force charging Ravenous' power exponentially. He powered his allies with some of his strength giving a portion of his rage and anguish in the process. His Lightsaber began to violently burn with force power. Its appearance resembled a purple inferno as hhe turned towards the clones death is his eyes.

"I'm going to kill you here and then I'll kill your comrades...Then I'll blow up this ship...Then the Republic is next....And then I'll wipe away all history of the clone wars and Jedi order from existence...But first I'm going to plunge my fist through your HEAD."

It was then he was about to advance on the [member="Venandi"] when Orex expressly requested he not kill them. Everything inside Ravenous' mind and soul told him to ignore the request...But....

Orex has proved in the past to have great vision and see opportunities others don't, He is wise and clever and thus had earned Ravenous' respect even in times like this. His foresight in situations was something of note and could prove dangerous in future but at the moment he disregarded this. The man stood down sending a wave of rage in the clones direction. He turned towards the stormtroopers now ducking for cover as they came under fire. They were not worth his time...But the Jedi was.

His foolish aspirations for peace among the parties was futile so he expressed his opinion of the proposal with a 720 spin launching himself into the air and positioning himself a good 8ft above the man. Midair he held his saber backwards and began to rapidly spin with the usage of the force. He rushed at the man striking down at him as he landed, He used for speed to rapidly speed past the man striking at him at every possible angle (About 2 strikes a second).

His memories went back to his battle with Orex on Alderaan in which he was heavily injured for using this very maneuver. On that day when Orex let him live he had one ambition one goal and it was still ongoing...When Orex let him live he was shamed as a warrior...He wasn't enough of a threat for Orex to have no choice other than to kill him...He promised himself he would become the strongest warrior the galaxy had ever seen and defeat Orex in combat...And he promised to do it while they were both still in their prime.

Ravenous landed in front of [member="Adonari Cinn"] and charged his blade with force lightning ready to withstand any attack the Jedi would throw at him.

"Come at me with all your might or I'll melt of all your skin!"

After the words he spoke silenced upon his lips the force released from deep within the Nautulan. Expectations for the current situation had been bleak. The chance of escaping this in peace seemed to grow minimal but he had to try. A figure descended upon him, twisting and jumping, down the hallway. The results of Adonari's desires materialized behind him as he again heard a soft ding from the elevator doors signaling their close.

The white eyed Jedi Master's channel with the force already opened. His consciousness had slowly dimmed, eyes grew brighter, and the overwhelming abundance of energy moved through him taking control. The hate filled energy landed in front of him.
"Come at me with all your might or I'll melt of all your skin!"
The words were beginning to leave the lips of the hate consumed being as, in the blink of an eye, the doors of the elevator tore off and flew around the Master colliding together where the man was standing before being launched into the area where the soldiers had opened fire once again.
"Hate consumes you. War and hatred is all you understand. You speak of the universe as though it chose to be consumed. It is you who have chosen." the voice of the Master Jedi sounding as if comprised of multiple beings. Two glowing white eyes on an expressionless face and motionless body stood there staring straight ahead.
