If one is willing to overlook its shadier dealings - and it is ever so easy, they've even been nice enough to keep them on the down-low - Draxin is, generally speaking, a positive influence on local economies, a thoughtful employer dedicated to ensuring the financial, intellectual, and emotional well-being of its staff, and the eagre sponsor of numerous charitable projects, particularly education and research grants.
... it certainly doesn't hurt that its ties to various Sith Alchemists are known only to a select few of its executives.
RATIONALE
The most recent addition to the Globex Corporation's growing corporate holdings, Draxin Advanced Systems was founded in the early 810s and had been steadily growing its business for decades when a definitely-not-engineered scandal involving its elderly founder-cum-CEO tanked the company stocks and opened the way for a hostile takeover by Globex.
The fact that said founder had gravely slighted Adrian Vandiir mere weeks prior was, of course, purely coincidental.
