The Corporations

Etti IV’s lifeblood pumps to the beat of its corporate entities.

Hyperion Futuristics
Rising to the forefront of the DireX board is Hyperion Futuristics, a massive conglomerate with hands in dozens of markets across Etti IV. From their most notable line of starships and personal speeders, to their specialized penal prefabs, Hyperion does it all. It’s no wonder they sit at the helm of the CSA.

CEO: Hasden Bridges
Market Focus: Shipbuilding, weapons manufacturing, and penal security
Headquarters: Hyperion Tower, District 1

ENERGEX
As one of the CSA’s largest power companies, ENERGEX finds itself in a unique position on the board. Other corporations often forget their inherent dependence on the vast amount of raw energy produced by E-GEX, a dynamic they are often eager to remind them of.

CEO: Aurora Tanhn
Market Focus: Energy production, nuclear technology, and infrastructure development
Headquarters: Horizon Corporate Park, District 3

DarkStar Technologies
When it comes to cybernetic augmentation, few corporations come close to the up-and-coming DarkStar Technologies. Even fewer can beat their surprisingly low costs, though many have tried. How they stay in business is anyone’s guess, but as long as the credits flow, the board remains uninterested in DarkStar’s methods…

CEO: Artemis Tau
Market Focus: Cybernetic enhancements, body augmentations, and neural implants
Headquarters: Jiyou Towers, District 12

BioPharm Labs
Medical advances made by BioPharm Labs have yielded incredible results in the pharmaceutical sector. Their place on the DireX board is hard earned, solidified by every pill, vaccine, and piece of surgical equipment sold by this impressive medical superpower.

CEO: Dominique Antares
Market Focus: Pharmaceutical research and development, medical equipment, and hospital services
Headquarters: Chisolm Memorial Square, District 1

The Absalom Group
Some say that the Absalom Group could practically be a miniature DireX board by itself, on account of the dozens of subsidiaries that have been absorbed over the years to create it in the first place. The real corporate visionaries know this is all part of the game, and many equally respect and loath AG’s unique composition.

CEO: Kira T’Soni
Market Focus: AI development, droid manufacturing, arms dealing, and private security contracts
Headquarters: Jiyou Towers, District 12

The Gangs

For every corporate empire towering over the little guys, there's a gang of psychos just trying to get by... often also at the expense of the little guys.

The Night Shrikes
Proudly running the show in District 3, the Night Shrikes are a neon-clad gang mostly comprised of humans and other species akin to them. They like their music loud, their speeders glowing bright, and their blades sharp enough to cut through C-Sec armor. Code Zero's rule of thumb: Don't f#$k with them... unless you don't want your thumbs.

Leader: Enzo 'Moonie' Rozar
Rackets: Streetracing, car meets, raves
Territory: District 3

The CyberVipers
Chromed-out and augmented to the bone, CyberVipers are junkies for cybernetic implants and neural upgrades. While the freshies can put up a good fight with coordination and pack tactics, it's the mindless veterans you've gotta watch out for - they're chromed out of their mind and often feral with cyberpsychotic rage.

Leader: Erichus
Rackets: Black market cybernetics, body enhancements
Territory: District 11

EZ-295
The only thing worse than a tribe of angry droids, is a tribe of angry droids who are on the run from C-Sec. These escaped bots range from human replicas and protocol droids to R-series, pit bots, and everything in between. What they lack in uniformity, they more than make up for in their tenacity.

Leader: EZ-295, IG-series assassin droid
Rackets: Murder, vandalism, slicing
Territory: District 9
