PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Drakon loves, fame, fortune, glory, adventure, fighting, freedom and deathsticks. What does he believe in? Himself he learned the hard way the only one in this galaxy whose going to take care of him was him. Drakon grew up poor and always dreamt of something more, at first he wanted to be a jedi, but really what he wanted was freedom. Freedom from rules, from restrictions, from restraint. He wanted all those things he loves now. It's not even so much the power, oh powers fine but not if you don't have the freedom to wield it. True freedom is the freedom to do what he wants regardless of what anyone tries to tell him, tries to rule him.
The Jedi and Sith even their rituals are binding, their philosophies, their code. Shadows of each other. The greater powers carve out territory because they can nothing more. Drakon enjoys the fame, fear and respect his name is starting to bring. It reminds him of the holographics he used to read as a kid. Drakon dreams of becoming a powerful pirate king under the Black Sun, with his own fleet at his beck and call, he knows there's only one way this kind of life can end but he's going to enjoy it to the fullest until he gets there.

HISTORY
Born on Pamarthe, Drakon grew up on the waves, and the docks he loved the ocean and to him the biggest ocean was space. Pamrthean are known for flying, fighting and other words beginning with f. That's how Drakon grew up, watching it all, learning it all, soaking it in. Only Drakon grew up wanting more. He not only wanted to see the stars, he wanted fame, fortune, freedom and fighting. He wanted to be a Jedi.
He was a decent pilot by the time he was nine, his talents brought him to the attention of a Jedi, who took him as padawan. Drakon mostly learned to tune out the lectures on patience, humility, discipline. Drakon was going to save people that's all that mattered, he was going to fight the evil Sith and vanquish them wherever he found them. Drakon's abilities with the force gave his master hope, even if he did relish the fight a little too much.
They went on many missions together for many years, helping where they could, who they could. Until one day Drakon went to far, he cut down an unarmed man. One who was surrendering. The man was a slaver of innocents. He deserved it. That wasn't the Jedi way.
Drakon wanted to continue the mission. Drakon's master pleaded with him. It fell on deaf ears. Drakon continued on, his master left him. Fuelled with rage, with the dark side, Drakon cut a swath through the Black Sun forces. Till he could cut anyone else down, he passed out. When he came too he was in a cell, with needles all around. The cell door opened and he was lead into an arena. Drakon did what he had to, to survive.
After his victory in the arena. Drakon was given more deathsticks, and other luxuries he enjoyed the luxuries and passed out, but he wanted his freedom. Free from Black Sun free from Jedi free to go his own war. He made a deal with the advisor a hundred victories in the arena and he'd earn his freedom. Drakon agreed what choice did he have.
One fight a week for two years. Drakon learned to enjoy the luxuries, the fame, the glory, the crowd cheering his name. He was in prison but he'd never been more free. When the two years were up amazingly the advisor kept his end of the deal and let Drakon go.
Drakon said he wanted in as an enforcer, but he didn't want to be tied down he'd be a boarder. Drakon knew exactly where to pick up his crew. The Gladiator pits, he made a deal with each Gladiator two years service with an option to sign on for more. Most Gladiators didn't make it to their hundredth fight two years away and knew it.
They called themselves the Skull & Bones pirates.
Drakon built up his crew, his wealth and his reputation, he's been plundering, pillaging, rading and reaving for five years. He loves every second of it.
