Walon Rauth
"Kyr'yc be Krayt Drahr"
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
The vessel known as the Drahr Valyr was originally laid down over four hundred years ago in the Mon Calamari shipyards as one of many Nautilus-class light freighters; an updated, mass produced successor to the venerated DeepWater-class light freighter from the Clone War era. Nautilus-class vessels are typically crewed by two and can carry up to six passengers, though at a minimum can be operated by one individual and carry upwards of 100 metric tons of cargo, as well as consumables for a period of two months. This particular example was retrofitted down the line by a previous owner who replaced the engines and overhauled them, giving the vessel increased speed and maneuverability, as well as upgrading the shields. Eventually the ship found its way into the hands of a mid-level gangster on Nar Shaddaa, Midak Raddul, who attempted to gain leverage on the Mandalorian mercenary Walon Rauth by kidnapping his infant daughter, Zenia. Said tactic ended with Raddul dead, his organization shattered, and the majority of his assets up for grabs by his former associates with Rauth only taking a sum of credits and the ship for his troubles after rescuing Zenia. Renamed the Drahr Valyr, or "The Dragon's Nest" in Mando'a, the ship serves as Walon and Zenia's home as Walon criss-crosses the hyperlanes searching for work and a place to call home.

- Dive, Dive: An interesting feature of ships designed in Mon Cala shipyards is that the Drahr Valyr can double as not only a watercraft, but also a submarine complete with full lockout chamber for diving and deploying one smaller submersible.
- Lightly Armed: The Drahr Valyr comes equipped with the stock armament for a Nautilus light freighter; a pair of twin dorsal laser cannons mounted in a 360 degree swivel turret on the top of the hull that can be fired from the pilot's station as opposed to the weapons console, though firing from that position is less accurate. This focus on light armament was due to the previous owner prioritizing speed and survivability over offensive firepower, making the ship less armed than some of it's contemporaries.
