Special Features:
  • Incendiary: When the round breaks apart, usually on contact with something, it explodes in a small, shaped incendiary explosion, going in the same direction of the round. This fire burns for about sixty seconds, consists of magnesium shards, and clings or sticks into solid materials.
Shotgun Rounds spray their cones upon firing, beginning at the end of the weapons barrel.

DESCRIPTION
Dragon's Fire rounds are classified as High Explosive Incendiary ammunition, igniting its magnesium-white phosphorus-kerosene mixture, causing a small shaped fiery explosion from the point of impact. It is primarily effective against soft targets having very little armor piercing capabilities. What it does do however is explode and shatter on contact with a significant solid surface such as kevlar, armor, a shield, or the ground, causing a shaped explosive charge to send its contents towards the target. Against armor this causes a spraying effect, sending pieces in almost every direction and getting the mixture maximum coverage.

The mixture then clings and buries into the target, while ignited, and burns for almost a full minute at extremely high temperatures, recorded at around three thousand (3000) degrees. The mixture and shards cause the fire to be very hot, and very difficult to extinguish, containing an internal oxidizing agent as well as small amounts of white phosphorus. Despite the high temperature, it does not 'melt through' most durable personal armors. The burn is too short and the coverage too spread out to effectively penetrate most personal armors. When delivered into flesh, it can cause severe burns and massive internal trauma, capable of causing third and fourth degree burns.

The bullet is made from a copper jacket with a durasteel cup to contain and shape the incendiary mixture. A small shaped explosive is triggered upon contact with the cap of the bullet, igniting the mix (white phosphorus being self igniting anyway), and sending it in a relatively small explosion of fire, magnesium pellets and shards, and kerosene based fuel.
