Faction Details

What is The Draelvasier as a faction?
A villainous homebrew faction, entirely comprised of the species known as Draelvasier. They are incredibly xenophobic warriors with a taste for genocide. Between 854ABY and 866ABY, then known as The Bryn'adul Empire; the Draelvasier species conquered a sixth of the Galaxy through the Outer Rim territories, razing hundreds of planets, genociding countless species, slaughtering trillions.

The result of which, is known as the Scar Worlds.

In 866ABY, the Empire fell amidst attacks from all sides and an extra-galactic civil war. [See blog; Heretic, Hero]

What is the vibe of the Faction?
Scattered, seven samurai/decepticon style. The focus is subtlety, the trauma of failure and the return of the species.

What is the current aim of the Faction?
The Draelvasier are scattered, hunted, and defeated. Tathra Khaeus returns in 874ABY and finds his Empire in ruins and his people scattered. The Draelvasier must reunite under one banner and try to restore the species to avoid extinction.

What is a Draelvasier?
The Drael, as a species began in 824-830ABY. Created by Tathra Khaeus. They are tall and typical red aliens with chitinous plate armoured flesh. They're hatched in birthing pods and develop into full adults within months. To see more about the race spectrum and various distinct abilities they have. See; The Draelvasier codex page.

Origins!
A draelvasier can either be of Galactic or Extra-Galactic Origin.

- Galactic Draelvasier are those who were members of the Bryn'adul Empire, following Tathra in his ten-year-long crusade against the Galaxy in which trillions were slaughtered. However, it also means this character saw the induction of other species into the Bryn'adul [Akhenaton, Vaydralen, Ungulloi] And also witnessed their very sudden mass exodus along with Tathra and a strong seventy percent of the Empire's military forces in 867ABY, soon followed by the fall of the Empire. The Bryn'adul Empires' fall was long in waiting, the sheer size of their territory forcing it to crumble under its own weight. The fall of the Empire leads to a period between 867ABY and late 874, in which the Draelvasier became a hunted and scattered species. This would lend to a Draelvasier with a stronger sense of independence.

- Extra-Galactic Draelvasier are those who have remained a secret for many decades. A territory based around the planet of Kardun - the tomb of the ancient Draelvasier. The Extra-Galactic Drael are loyalists, unbesmirched by the politics of the Galactic territories. The Civil War lasted between 867 and 871ABY. A brutal war that lead to the destruction of almost all involved. Leaving only a handful of Draelvasier behind. Extra-galactic Draelvasier are fiercely loyal, traditional Draelvasier. They are jaded by killing so many of their own kind.

What are the types of Drael?
Glad you asked, the Draelvasier have three total races. But you only have to worry about two of them, as the third is a sub-servient, mute race of cannon fodder. [Sraelvun].

Keep in mind there is more detail on the actual codex page and that Draelvasier races act as a roughly defined spectrum. Only the extremes truly need to be classified.

- The Baedurin, are the biggest and broadest of the Draelvasier. Tougher, and a tad slower. They are typically excellent tacticians and have more expansive crowns on their heads.

- The Aeravalin are lithe, and typically have smaller crowns, longer faces. Additionally, they also tend to be lighter on their feet and more inclined towards being force sensitive.
