It had been a while since Yuri was on Coruscant, and with the ongoing conflict it was likely better for him to stay away. Bounties were up for Mandos and the Alliance was ever watchful for potential threats. A hostile environment that had the Shistavanen practically humming with excitement as he stepped off his ship and climbed into a taxi. Mandalorians never backed down from a challenge and he was no different, as much as he tried to distance himself from his people. With how things were going, bounty hunting didn't seem like such a bad idea in the core.

The taxi took him downtown to his target's last known location. At least it wasn't Underworld, he had enough drama in that department. The last thing he needed was a shootout over some bad deals from his recent past. What caught him by surprise, however, was the location of his target. It didn't take a genius to know he wouldn't be there anymore, but what was odd was that the location was some medical setup. Somewhere between a a hospital and a soup kitchen from what he understood. As strange a setup as it was, the armoured Mandalorian made his approach in hopes of finding someone who could lead him to his target.

The Shistavanen approached the rather neglected building and searched for someone who could assist him. Someone stood out to him, a kid his age who appeared to be... blind? His eyes were different from Yuri's own. A pale grey and a blank stare as he somehow maneuvered around the area to tend to what appeared to be his patients. Junkies, dregs and other forgotten characters from society. "Hey, you got a moment?" He spoke up as he approached the blind kid. "I'm lookin' for someone, I was hopin' you could help me out. You got a minute?" He continued as his hands rested on his holsters. Certainly not his most intimidating performance, but that was not what he was after.

Jalen held up a hand, indicating for him to stand still. He seemed to recognize the mandalorian's presence without sight.

"Don't step to close," Jalen instructed. "Corellian Tanamen Fever. Not fatal, but still contagious. There's been a small outbreak."

Small outbreaks were common on such a large planet. It was really easy for diseases to spread when everyone was stacked on top of each other. Jalen was doing what he could here, as bakta and some nursing was a pretty easy treatment to provide in large quantities. He just wanted to be sure that the fever stayed in the building and didn't spread any further, especially considering most on the planet couldn't afford bakta.

"Who are you looking for?" he asked. "I can't guarentee visiting hours presently, but I can see about exchanging information."

Yuri took a little step back the moment the guy mentioned the disease. His helmet would likely be able to filter out the pathogens, however he was not gonna take his chances with a flu. He had better things to do than stay in bed all day. He at least wanted a good reason to stay there and fever wasn't it. "Good thing you caught it in time. Somethin' like this could easily break out all over Coruscant." He remarked as he took a small step forward and watched the patients around the kid.

"Who are you looking for?"

"I can't guarentee visiting hours presently, but I can see about exchanging information."

"Yeah, visitin' hours ain't what I'm after at the moment." He quipped as he glanced at the guy. "I'm lookin' for a guy on the run. Twi'lek, scar from his cheek to his neck, got an attitude to him. You didn't maybe see..." He paused as he remembered the kid's "situation" with a slight wince. "Dumb question... um, you didn't maybe notice or hear about someone that fits that description? Short term helper, a patient, hell maybe even asking for help or directions." He continued as he leaned against a wall.

"I got very good reason to believe that he's been here and he's been tricky to track on this planet." He continued as he studied the guy from behind his visor.

"Dumb question... um, you didn't maybe notice or hear about someone that fits that description? Short term helper, a patient, hell maybe even asking for help or directions."

"No Twi'lek male has come through here," Jalen shrugged. "But, should he be a threat to the well-being of patients, I am willing to assist."

He didn't want them to come to any trouble. No this needed to be handled with utmost urgency. The only issue was actually having a way to track the dude down. It wasn't like he could see what he looked like. He needed something else to follow. An energy signature.

"Do you have any personal effects of the man in question?" he asked. "I... feel energy. Traces of people's auras. Like Miraluka. Yeah, we'll go with that. I imagine I'd be able to somewhat follow his lingering essence and track the suspect down."

What could go wrong?

To Yuri's surprise the young physician offered his assistance to track the bounty hunter's quarry down. Rather odd behaviour for a medic. The boy went on to ask if Yuri had any personal belongings linked to the target, prompting Yuri to rub at the back of his helmet as he thought about any options. What bother Yuri more about the exchange was the boy's ability to feel people's presence. His eyes narrowed for a moment as he studied the kid.

"Well... not really. No bounty tracker or items linked to the guy. Guy was pretty clean with coverin' his tracks. I was hopin' to find something here." He explained as he looked around them. "Kinda old-fashioned... search... like that." He looked back at the kid as an idea formed.

"You can't use those funky powers of yours to feel anythin' outta place around here?" He asked him as he strolled around the place in search of any potential leads. The patients were of no use, that left the staff as the only other option. "Say, where'd you learn these... powers... of yours? You definitely ain't a Miraluka." He asked casually as he turned to look back at the kid.

"Say, where'd you learn these... powers... of yours? You definitely ain't a Miraluka." He asked casually as he turned to look back at the kid.

"Learned them on my own," Jalen stated. "When you lose senses your body works to fill in the gaps. I'm sure you've encountered stranger."

They were a Mandalorian after all. It wasn't like Force users were uncommon. Jalen just preferred to keep info close to his chest. He was a GA Medic. That was all people really needed to know. They were more amicable that way anyways. The young man turned, signaling for Shai to follow.

"Well, may as well join me to search the place," he noted. "If an outlaw snuck in the back I'd rather no harm come to my patients. Can't help you more than that though. My posting is here. I've got a duty to fulfill before I can leave."

He tucked his hands into his pockets and proceeded to lead him in.

Yuri couldn't help but shrug at the guy's words. He had a good point. The Shistavanen could think of plenty that were a lot weirder... though it probably wasn't the time to bring those stories up. After all, the less people knew of his storied past, the better. The kid offered to show him around the place and even led the way to the back of the small facility. "With a guy this dangerous, you'd wanna keep your patients as far away as possible. I appreciate the help, by the way." He commented as he followed the good doctor with his hands idly resting on his pistols.

Entering the back room, Yuri scanned the place with his thermal imager in hopes of finding anything out of the ordinary to no avail. In these levels, the amount of residual heat from various oddities in the walls and surrounding atmosphere made it practically useless to use his vision modes in an enclosed space such as this. The bodies in the other room didn't help, either.

"Notice anythin' outta the ordinary in here? Stuff that's moved, somethin' that ain't supposed to be here?" He asked, glancing at the kid. A light shuffle from a nearby cabinet drew pause from Yuri. "Hold up... you hear that?" He muttered, slowly drawing a pistol from his thigh holster. A muffled whine began to rise in pitch, causing Yuri's hair to stand on end as his eyes went wide.

"Get down!" He tackled the kid to the ground just as a powerful beam shot past them, vaporizing everything in its way. From the destroyed cabinet, the Mandalorian's target emerged and sprinted past the two, using the hole in the wall to escape the building. Yuri, on the other hand, snatched his dropped pistol and fired a bolt at the man's legs while still sheltering the doctor beneath him. "Dammit!" He barked, pushing himself off and helping the kid back up. "You okay? Did he hit you?" He checked with urgency, looking the guy over. He seamed fine. "Disruptor. Karkin' moon jockey's got a disruptor..." He muttered to himself.

He turned to pursue the target, but stopped to look at the doctor. "Thanks for the help... sorry 'bout the damage, I'll pay ya back." He spoke before peeking around the corner with his pistol at the ready.

"Get down!" He tackled the kid to the ground just as a powerful beam shot past them, vaporizing everything in its way. From the destroyed cabinet, the Mandalorian's target emerged and sprinted past the two, using the hole in the wall to escape the building.

Jalen's eyes widened as he was forced to the ground, letting out a groan of irritation as he hit the floor. The culprit hit the ground running, escaping the facility with relative ease. He had, of course, felt them coming, if a bit belated. He was going to do something about it to, but that was thrown out the window the moment the Mandalorian tackled him.

"No, he didn't hit me," Jalen scoffed, standing and brushing himself off. "But I can assure you I don't need to be shielded like a civilian. I felt the energy of his disruptor round well before it got near me."

The young man let out a sigh, tucking his hands into his pockets and beginning to follow after the bounty hunter.

"You can pay me back by helping get that disruptor off the street," he stated bluntly. "I'd rather not have innocent people get vaporized. I only ask that you don't tackle me to the ground in the process."

This individual was a far more pressing matter.

Yuri glanced back at the guy with a confused expression hidden behind his visor. Was he... annoyed? "Hot damn, I just helped ya out! No need to throw shade at me. A 'thanks but no thanks' would be good enough." He practically scolded, turning his attention back to the hole in the wall. "Jeez. First time I try and save someone from a karkin' disruptor and they're angry at me for it." He grumbled to himself as he studied the surroundings. The Twi'lek was nowhere to be seen, with seemingly no lead as well. But something did draw the Mandalorian's attention.

Giving a few sniffs, Yuri looked down to notice a faint trail of blood. He knelt down and removed his helmet, taking a few deep whiffs as a grin took hold. "Got your scent now, schutta..." He muttered, slipping his helmet back on as he stood up. He began to walk after the trail on the floor, sparing a brief moment to look at the kid behind him. "You got a name? Or am I just gonna settle with 'sourpuss' for ya?" He quipped with a slight hint of irritation.

After a few steps, an idea came to Yuri. With the amount of alleys and nooks around this block, they needed a faster means to track their target. With a press of a button, Yuri flicked through his vision modes until his thermal vision highlighted the trail on the ground. He stepped up his pace to a light jog, keeping his pistol at the ready. After a few moments, another whine faintly echoed in the distance. A second or so later, the howl of the disruptor tore through the air, followed closely by the screaming of dozens of people. "Come on!" He called out as he ignited his jetpack and took off.

Arriving in a busy sidewalk, Yuri was just in time to see the Twi'lek hop into a speeder to fly off. The Mandalorian flicked a switch on his pistol and fired a burst of ion rounds at the speeder, grounding it long enough for them to catch up. "I'll draw his fire, you take him down!" He barked at the kid, flying toward their suspect.
