Crysis
Lost One
Utapau - Bin'Bad City (Small Town) | Night |
Healthy - Sabers - Her "Clothes" | About to do something horrible |
She had been standing in the same spot, yellow eyes piercing the human woman across from her mercilessly. So easy, a simple look of interest from the woman had garnered a glare of hatred from Crysis. She stood with her hood pulled over her Montrals, the woman a rugged, and veteran pirate, smuggler, and slaver; yet as Crysis stared, the pure look of malice on her face had broken the woman's desire to continue engaging in the staring contest. Crysis let the Dark Side radiate from her as she stood, seething on the spot, at times her lip even quivering from the intensity. Just a word, an eye roll... Move a little funny or something. Crysis mentally hoped she did anything to give her reason. What right did she have to look at her as though she could take her or something?
The woman's lips moved, but Crysis didn't hear it, deafened by the building rage before her head canted and she somewhat relaxed
"What?"
She practically spat the words at the other, face scrunching up.
'I-.. I said sorry if I offended you or anything. Just like your clothes.'
She glanced down on instinct, staring at her own clothing briefly before slowly looking back up to glare at her.
"Where is the one we were to meet about the slaves? My Master has been kept waiting for long enough. We tire of this..."
She glanced around at the building the woman was leaning against, the back door of some seedy Cantina, then at the litter ridden alleys before looking back to her.
"Filth..."
She finished, not needing to look behind her to know Kathal was still standing there. She could feel his presence, in more ways than one. Only giving her cause to be much less sociable with these disgusting slavers. For good reason at that, if by some maddening chance she couldn't eradicate this gang by herself, Kathal could do it himself. Which meant she had no reason to be respectful, or patient. She would speak her mind, and if this one didn't like it, they were certainly well within gutting range.
'Lady, no-one rushes Tuu'bad...'
Crysis stared at her for a moment, then turned back to her Master, her scowl breaking, and briefly becoming a near pleading one. She wanted to break it in two... Though, of course not; they needed to get the proper layout before they could expose themselves. As such, still looking in his direction the scowl returned as she turned back, offering the woman a macabre grin...
"Of course.."
She said, the smile fading into a telling scowl. When it happened, this one had better not be in the room. As if this insect should've kept her Master waiting...
Suddenly, the back door to the Cantina opened, and several armed individuals stepped out the back, to which Crysis would only turn her head, glaring at them as well.
'Let's do business, you say you're spending three-hundred thousand... Where's the credit?'
Crysis scoffed at the audacity of it.
"When we see your inventory, you will see credit... Not before."
The man chuckled a bit at that, causing Crysis's demeanor to briefly become baffled. Was he laughing at her?
'Better watch her boys, lil' firecracker here. Come on in, we've got the inventory. Nothing funny, everyone inside is holding, and we'll use em. Minx, keep lookout.'
The Man said, towards the original woman they were speaking to. She nodded and glanced at Crysis in a manner that clearly showed discomfort before looking back at the street. The man that invited in the back door noticed this, and would look over towards Kathal.
'you're handsome...'
He said, clearly not taking the pair seriously. Though, allowing them entry inside. After a few turns, and a descent of some stairs, they would find themselves in a large radial room. Inside, even more thugs with blasters, and a single Hutt on an elevated platform amongst them. The outer radius of the room was separated from the center, and almost immediately as they were coming down the steps, they could see they had dozens. By the Force, it could have easily been over a hundred different kinds of people enslaved. The races weren't specific either. Crysis spotted a Trandoshan, Wookie, Rodian, Twi'lek, and Togruta immediately. Though as they continued, she spotted more. Some Chiss, humans... They were stocked up.
As they were lead to stand in front of the Hutt, it began to grumble, a protocol droid at the base of his platform glancing up, then regarding the pair.
"Greetings, prospective buyers! Tuu'bad the Hutt welcomes you to his emporium of fine meat-ba-"
A woman behind the droid immediately clonked it on the head hard with a spanner tool, to which it spasmed, and tried again.
"Fine, manual labor surplus. The honorable Tuu'bad assures his product is up too standard. Fed, and watered daily. And given the proper amount of supplement to remain nutritionally sound."
The Hutt initially looked to the woman who hit the droid, who held up two fingers very close together, before offering a so-so shake of her hand to the Hutt. The Hutt inhaled deeply, muttering something else, and almost immediately, a Rodian in the room got up to run. A man who wore Mandalorian armor in the corner immediately rising a blaster and hitting him square in the back. The Hutt grumbled again.
"Tuu'bad also assures that he does not like being cheated, as you have clearly evidenced with your own eyes. Is there anything in particular you are in the market for?"
For now, Crysis remained silent, though through her Force Bond with her Master he knew she was simply gauging their defenses and picking out her targets. She would be ready when he was.
