With the press of a switch and a shift of internal chambers, the pistol reshapes its plasma output into one of six firing modes:

- Armour-Pen: Thin, fast, and mean. Punches through body armor like it's not even there.
- Scatter: Fires unstable plasma that breaks into fragments mid-flight. Inaccurate, but terrifying up close.
- Ricochet: Bounces off walls, floors, and ceilings. Each bounce drains a bit of power, but it'll still ruin someone's day.
- Incendiary: Slow-moving and heavy, but if it hits something flammable? Welcome to the fireworks show.
To keep all this running, Xa'tra rigged the guts of the pistol with a basic AI to handle gas modulation. Or so he thought. Turns out the AI had bigger plans. She gained a personality, called herself Dorothy, and decided she had opinions. Lots of them. These days, she argues with Xa'tra more than she helps, and she's been known to "accidentally" jam the weapon mid-firefight if he says something she doesn't like.
He's threatened to wipe her more times than he can count. But deep down? He won't. She's the closest thing he's got to a friend.

Keep going, and you're left with a melted mess. Xa'tra built most of it from Dallorian alloy to fight off the worst of the overheating, but even that only buys so much time. The limited ammo capacity (just six rounds) helps cool things down, though it means reloads are frequent— and often frantic. Add in the punishing recoil, and this blaster isn't for the faint of heart.
