FAMILY INFORMATION
  • Family Name: House Tellerian
  • Family Type: Royal Family
  • Place of Origin: Doan
  • Family Size: 4
  • Loyalties: Doan, Pyke Syndicate (not by choice)
  • Description: For thousands of years, the Royal House of Doan has been the planet’s ruling family, leading the planet through countless generations of Galactic history. Not including some distant extended family members, it currently has 4 main members. With the exception of Archduke Aroske, the Royal House is generally not fond of the Pyke Syndicate occupation of Doan.
FAMILY MEMBER 1
  • Name: King Orokalnar XXII of Doan
  • Age: 49
  • Species: Human
  • Role: Husband of Queen Wyxtay, brother of Archduke Aroske, and father of Prince Junduno
  • Languages: Galactic Basic (primary language), Pyke (knowledgeable), Rodese (knowledgeable)
  • Skills: Diplomacy, speech making, planet management, orbak-riding
  • Notable Possessions: As King of Doan, he owns an official set of Garments of State, which include the famous Doan Royal Crown. Another notable possession of his is an urn believed to contain the ashes of a famous Jedi Master who hailed from Doan. He also owns a rare Rothana Racing Orbak named Palladium.
  • Holdings: As the King of Doan, Orokalnar technically owns the entire planet and its treasury. However, the Pyke Syndicate keeps a close eye on his activities, so he must be careful not to overstep his boundaries. What he does definitively own is the Royal Manse, and the land surrounding it. He has also been secretly transferring some of his money to off-world bank accounts on Scipio. Finally, he also has the unwavering loyalty of the Doan Royal Guard.
  • Appearance: King Orokalnar XXII is a gracefully-aged man in his late forties. He is on the smaller side, both in terms of height and weight, and has fair skin with silvery-brown hair. He is clean-shaven, and has a very eye-catching smile which is beloved by the people of Doan. His eyes are a brilliant blue color, and make him look as though he has an amusing joke on his mind, which he refuses to share with everyone else.
  • Description: Orokalnar XXII is the latest in a very long line of kings. One would think that this would stress him out, and in truth, it does. Not helping matters is the fact that his planet is currently under the colonial rule of the Pyke Syndicate, thanks to a deal his father made in order to stop the Syndicate from invading and conquering the planet by force. However, Orokalnar shows none of this outwardly. As a prince, he had a reputation for being easygoing and unconcerned, in contrast to his more solemn father. As King, he has maintained this attitude, but only as a facade. In public appearances, he says that Pyke rule is good for Doan, but detests it in private. Thanks to heavy monitoring, he has not been able to do much to stop it though. However, he did once arrange for a dissident journalist who had slated been for execution to be smuggled off-world. The Pykes suspect that he may have been involved, but cannot seem to definitively prove it one way or the other. As the King of Doan, Orokalnar frequently interacts with Frej Thylvan, the Pyke Supervisor of Doan. Their personalities are practically polar opposites, which tends to result in some very stilted and awkward meetings. In his spare time, the King enjoys orbak-racing, and owns a rare Rothana Racing Orbak for this purpose.
FAMILY MEMBER 2
  • Name: Queen Wyxtay of Doan
  • Age: 49
  • Species: Human
  • Role: Wife of King Orokalnar, mother of Prince Junduno.
  • Languages: Galactic Basic (primary language), Durese (fluent)
  • Skills: Diplomacy, speech making, architectural design, painting.
  • Notable Possessions: An Architectural diploma with distinction from Rigovian Technical University, self defense hold-out blaster, a light pen crafted from the wood of a tree native to Jerrilek.
  • Holdings: Queen Wyxtay owns a luxurious vacation house on her homeworld of Jerrilek.
  • Appearance Queen Wyxtay is a tall and thin woman in her late forties. She has a rather owl-like face, with a small mouth, a downturned nose, and large eyes. She has naturally copper-toned skin, and jet black hair which she wears in a short but wavy style. Her eyes are green in color, and seem to convey wisdom and authority.
  • Description: Queen Wyxtay is the Queen of Doan through her marriage to King Orokalnar XXII. She originally had the surname “Drannilt”, before her marriage. She hails from the tropical planet of Jerrilek, but left fairly early on to pursue higher education in the field of architecture at Rigovian Technical University. However, she did take a light pen crafted with wood from a tree native to Jerrilek with her, which she uses in sketching architectural designs. Since then, she has always carried it with her, and often rolls it back and forth between her fingers when bored or nervous. She started working as an architect after receiving an architectural diploma with distinction from Rigovian Technical. A few years after this, she undertook the massive job of restoring the Royal Manse of Doan on the behalf of King Gerran XXIV. The building had fallen into disrepair during the 400 Year Darkness, and was in serious need of a revival. During the process, she spent a good deal of time at the building in order to get a better understanding of it. While there, she met the king’s son, Prince Orokalnar. They happened to be the same age, and got along quite well with each other. When the Royal Manse was fully restored after two and a half years of work, Prince Orokalnar proposed marriage to Wyxtay. She accepted, and the two were married in a grand ceremony which also marked the completion of the Royal Manse’s restoration. The live holobroadcast of the event was tuned into by people living as far away as Lianna. It took some time for Wyxtay to adjust to her new role as a Princess of Doan, but she eventually settled into it. However, she did not lose her interest in architecture just because she was royalty now. As a Princess of Doan, she used her influence to redesign and rejuvenate many of Doan’s cities which had fallen into disrepair. This naturally made her very popular with Doan’s population, despite her status as an outsider. Unfortunately, the good times would not last forever. When the Pyke Syndicate took control of Doan, Wyxtay’s urban renewal program was brought to an abrupt end, as the brutally utilitarian Frej Thylvan had no use for it. And thanks to him, many Pyke-affiliated corporations have constructed massive obsidian buildings on the planet which sharply clash with Wyxtay’s sensibilities. This of course greatly upset her, and made certain that she would be no friend of their regime. She is aware of and fully supports her husband’s anti-Pyke activities, and even engages in a few of her own. These extend to providing anti-Pyke resistance movements with funding and supplies. She has had to be very secretive about this to avoid being caught, but fortunately for her, she has a nearly unmatched poker face. In her spare time, she greatly enjoys oil painting. While some people may consider the art form to be “antiquated”, she finds it quite enjoyable and fulfilling.
FAMILY MEMBER 3
  • Name: Prince Junduno
  • Age: 22
  • Species: Human
  • Role: Son of King Orokalnar and Queen Wyxtay, nephew of Archduke Aroske
  • Languages: Galactic Basic (primary language), Rodese (conversational), Binary (understands)
  • Skills: Planetary management, speech making, swordsmanship, speeder driving, mountain climbing
  • Notable Possessions: A phrik dueling saber, a collection of racing speeders, a set of mountain climbing gear
  • Holdings: N/A
  • Appearance Prince Junduno is in many ways the spitting image of what his father looked like at his age. The only noteworthy differences are the fact that Junduno is noticeably taller and has a downturned nose like his mother.
  • Description: Prince Junduno is for the most part an intelligent, talented, and exemplary young man. However, he has one problem: he is a severe adrenaline junkie. Only the most dangerous and terrifying hobbies seem to appeal to him, ranging from saber dueling, to mountain climbing, and everything in between. All of his crazy stunts have given him a fairly significant Holonet following, which only seems to encourage his antics. Naturally, his parents greatly disapprove of his activities. As the heir to the throne, his safety is of tantamount importance not only to them as parents, but also to the survival of the Royal House of Doan’s future generations. And the truth is, Junduno does want to make his family happy. He is a natural leader, and has been trained well to succeed his father as King when the time comes. He is also very patriotic for his home planet. The problem is, he just gets bored very quickly unless he is in a state of excitement. He is no more fond of the Pyke Syndicate’s presence on Doan than his parents are, thanks to their rather strict regulation against extreme sports and Holonet censorship.
FAMILY MEMBER 4
  • Name: Archduke Aroske
  • Age: 47
  • Species: Human
  • Role: Brother of King Orokalnar, uncle of Prince Junduno
  • Languages: Galactic Basic (primary language), Pyke (fluent), Huttese (fluent), Muun (conversational)
  • Skills: Political maneuvering, deception, spying
  • Notable Possessions: A traditional royal dagger, a Level 5 Pyke Syndicate security clearance card, a gem-encrusted walking stick.
  • Holdings: The Archduke controls a spy network, which stretches across Doan. He also has a small group of enforcers separate from the Doan Royal Guard.
  • Appearance In sharp contrast to his older brother, Archduke Aroske is most definitely not an attractive man. He has deathly pale skin, a completely bald head, and heavily shadowed eyes. He also walks with a rather extreme limp. To compensate for the limp, he always carries a gem-encrusted walking stick with him. Despite his limp and rather gaunt physical frame, he has surprising physical strength when pushed.
  • Description: As the younger brother of Orokalnar, Aroske had always been the “spare to the heir” in the Royal House of Doan. This caused him to detest his older brother, despite Orokalnar doing his best to be kind and open to him. All Aroske ever saw him as was an obstacle between himself and the Crown of Doan. This is because in truth, the only person Aroske has ever cared about is himself. To him, everyone else is either a stepping stone or an obstacle between himself and more power. To obtain more power, he built a spy network of local informants on Doan, and hired a private force of guards to carry out his will. When the Pyke Syndicate arrived on Doan, Aroske saw an opportunity for himself. Unlike the rest of the Royal House of Doan, he sided firmly with the Pykes. He provided them with information about possible dissent through his spy network, and acts as a “local advisor” to Supervisor Frej Thylvan. As a reward for this, he was granted status as an honorary Pyke in the eyes of the Syndicate, and an associated Level 5 Security Clearance. Despite this, Thylvan is well aware that Aroske is just siding with him out of opportunism rather than genuine loyalty. He only indulges his craving for power because he would rather have a cooperative member of the Royal House on his side.

GENERAL FAMILY INFORMATION
House Tellerian of Doan is one of the Galaxy’s oldest continuous Royal houses. It dates back to the year 9096 BBY, when King Pando I, the first King of Doan, was crowned. Since then, there has always been a King of Doan, though how much power the King actually holds has fluctuated quite a good deal over the thousands of years the monarchy has existed. The current king is the recently-crowned Orokalnar XXII, who is little more than a figurehead for the Pyke Syndicate. The public on Doan and a few nearby worlds such as Lothal are very invested in the lives of the Doan Royal House, despite them just being figureheads. This naturally makes them the target of quite a bit of press and paparazzi attention, which the Doan Royal Guard spends a good deal of time managing.
