- Audacious Defense: The physical defensive capabilities of the Dixes Smeisv are beyond what most sets can offer throughout the Galaxy. Thick armor plating and cortosis pauldrons grant the Devil Lion's proxy vast protection against most forms of blasters, kinetics, elemental damages, and Lightsabers. This defense is at such high levels that Kascalion is capable of taking full blasts from enemy tanks and walking away with only moderate damage.
- Point-Defense Drones: Serving as countermeasures to the substantial weight and Voidstone of the Dixes Smeisv, these Point-Defense Drones are outfitted with rapid-fire lasers capable of downing a soldier dressed in durasteel armor in one to two blasts. These PDDs operate off rechargeable diatium power cells and can be instantly deployed from and recalled to docking slots on the shoulder blades of the armor. Interestingly, both PDDs seem to have their own individual personalities, with the left appearing to serve as the aggressor and the right serving as the defender. Additionally, Kascalion can view the PDDs visuals for an easy 360-degree view of his surroundings, thus increasing his versatility and target acquisition in combat.
- Shock Webbing: As Kascalion is unable to use his favored attack of Force Lightning, Lorale ensured that the armor would be lined with a network of Shock Webbing to enable his brother to use a physical variation of his powers.
- Sheer Weight: The sheer weight of this armor makes it incredibly straining for even the powerful Devil Lion to wear effectively, forcing him to utilize the extensive skeletal stabilizers and weight distributors of the armor to move and fight at his natural level. Should these stabilizers and distributors be damaged, the armor will become increasingly difficult to wear and could eventually render Kascalion's proxy immobile.
- Voidstone Lacing: Driven by equal parts boredom and desire for a real challenge, Kascalion had his dearest brother Lorale infuse the plating of the armor with voidstone lacings to dampen his connection to the Force when he wore it in battle. This voidstone, naturally, does its job incredibly well to the point that Kascalion is incapable of using his powers properly beyond his innately enhanced strength, agility, and essence transfer. As such, while he is still capable of using lightsabers in this armor, he instead is more or less forced to focus more on using CQC and customized blaster pistols, which puts him at a distinct disadvantage should he face a Force User of considerable skill.
- EMP/ION: As the armor is more or less heavily based on electronics and computer systems, EMP and ION weapons have great advantage against Kascalion's proxy and can easily shut down the necessary components for the armor to function.
- Irreplaceable: In spite of his many proxies in storage, Kascalion was only gifted one suit of the Dixes Smeisv to wear in combat. This means that should the armor and proxy be destroyed in combat, the Devil Lion will no longer have access to this unique set.
It goes without saying that Kascalion Giedfield is a man of refined tastes for both technology and culture and will often combine the two for his creative purposes. As such, Lorale will often find his own creativeness stifled by the mere fact that the second he develops an idea, his brother has already made three variations of such, including the original. However, as evidenced by the existence of this armor set, Lorale still possesses the capacity of getting one up on his inventive sibling.
The armor's main function is to serve as a defensive wall for Kascalion's Proxy Prime, a genetically perfected creation capable of channeling its occupant's full powers. Ironically, however, and at the odd and boredom stricken request of Kascalion himself, the armor is laced with Voidstone so as to prevent the Proxy Prime from such capabilities.
To counteract this, Lorale had Kascalion's engineers develop two point-defense drones meant to provide their owner with a full 360-degree field of view and killing spread. Additionally, Lorale ensured that the armor was outfitted with advanced Big Shock webbing so as to allow his brother some level of electrical offense, which is his favored form of offense.
