[SIZE=10.5pt]The Confederate Defense Force[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt] exists as the shield and sword of the Southern Systems. Upon the shoulders of every man, woman, and child enlisted within the organization rests the security of trillions. As a result, the Confederate Defense Force prides itself on being the pinnacle of duty, strength, and efficiency and strives to employ only the best strategies internally and externally. To this end, the overwhelming majority of Confederate Defense Force personnel are droids. This decision was made for a variety of reasons, but the key determining factor was firstly a desire to preserve organic, Confederate lives from the battlefield. The second factor was simply the combat and resource effectiveness of automatons when compared to organics. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]With this foundation in place, the Confederate Defense Force operates firstly with domestic defense as its upmost priority. Foreign, military campaigns - while certainly a vital part of the Southern Systems' growth - are a close, secondary purpose. All operations and orders are carried our with the Core Values of Duty, Efficiency, and Strength at the forefront.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]As is the case with any functioning military, the Confederate Defense Force is partitioned into a variety of specialized branches. Most notably, the majority of the organization's personnel are divided between the [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]Dauntless Legions[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt],the [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]Armada[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt], and the [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]Special Operations Corp[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt] respectively. However, aside from these super majorities, there are a number of additional branches within the Confederate Defense Force which serve vital, specialized functions:[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]The Dauntless Legions [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]| [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]The Strike Force [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]- Those who devote themselves to the art of war are known as the Dauntless. They are the tip of the spear when it comes to the Confederacy's [/SIZE]endeavors[SIZE=10.5pt]. Backing these organic soldiers are the foundation of the Confederate Defense Force, the droid Exterminatus. The Exteriminatus is comprised of the galaxy's most advance war droids. Their primary directive is Total War: No Survivors, No Surrender.[/SIZE]

Hundreds of thousands of specialized craft make up the Confederacy’s impressive Navy. Paired with the galaxy’s greatest Starfighter Corp, it is prepared to seek out, engage, and destroy any threat to the nation’s peace. [ Roster ][/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]Special Operations Corp[/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt] | [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]The Elite [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]- The Confederacy is composed of hundreds of unique star systems. Each competent in their own methods and styles of warfare. The S.O.C. exists to best utilize these methods to better aid the Confederate Defense Force. This [/SIZE]auxiliary[SIZE=10.5pt] section is home to each planet's personal Defense Forces and the specialized units that are granted special permissions by the Office of the Vicelord. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]As a whole, the numerous branches of the Confederate Defense Force all hearken to a unified hierarchy. Ascension through the chain of command is based on time in grade, applicable capabilities, and overall merits of the individual soldier. At this time, the Confederacy does allow its player base to select where they begin on the chain of command. [/SIZE]
