Intent:To create a unique set of heavy armour, including shield and Vibro-axe, for one Jedi Master Carn Dista for use in military operations including, but not limited to: Heavy assaults, sieges, and front line combat.

Modularity:
The axe may be sharpened, and have the bindings on the haft replaced should they become worn or damaged. The shield can have it's grip re-wrapped should the synthleather padding be worn away. The belt has extra room for a lightsaber, and other choice items that may come in useful for a warrior on the front line, such as small emergency medical supplies (Bandages, bacta, etc) and a portable holocom unit.

Primarily made from thick plates of Durasteel, with a thin layer of dark bronzium over the top. The armour is also trimmed with electrum, to add to it's somewhat imposing design. As a result, while the armour may not be able to take sustained damage from lightsabers, or focused fire from blasters, it does have a certain degree of stopping power.
While the armour is heavy, weighing in at 20 kilograms, it's weight is spread evenly throughout it's construction. As a result of this, and it's layered, yet articulated construction, Carn can remain somewhat agile, and can run, jump, and otherwise move freely. However, it is worth noting that the movement the armour allows is not as free as say, traditional Jedi robing. It is also nowhere near as light as Jedi robes, thus causing Carn to fatigue a little quicker in combat than he would do normally.

Due to the nature of vibro-weapons, both the haft of the vibro-ax, and the grip / back of the shield have been altered somewhat to dampen the vibrations for the user. As a result, both ax and shield are far easier to wield than they would be if the vibrations were simply allowed to continue unchecked.

The vibro-ax is built in a manner similar to those of the Clan Groogun Vibro-Axes. It contains a power pak in the top end of the haft, which powers the ultrasonic vibration generator, thus giving the blade it's vibroweapon status. Due to the frequency of the vibrations, the ax may deflect, and occasionally sustain hits from lightsabers and other energy weapons, but should the weapon take sustained hits from a lightsaber, the power pak stands a chance of being overloaded, which would allow said lightsaber to cut effortlessly through the Alusteel blade.
