- Description: Officially, the Disposal Unit is a small warband of mercenaries who sell their services to intergalatic powers and specialise in highly clandestine strike-team operations. This can include, Assasination, Disruption, Espionage, Investigations, Operations, Raids, and Strikes against government, civilian and military installations. As a result, most galatic bodies consider them to be a paramilitary group at best and a terrorist organisation at worst. However, in reality they are a black ops military force, oftentimes sponsored by factions and governments to carry out missions that might otherwise cause diplomatic incidents for their sponsors, their 'name' stems from the fact they are usually the ones to dispose of inconviences whether that be individuals or intelligence. Individuals who are recruited are typically include prisoners and existing military personel, those who accept are expected to sacrifice their liveihoods and families (if any) by agreeing to fabricate their own deaths. After which, they are given new identities, a operational name, and access to the organisations resources.
The organisation is loose, with many operatives holding no official rank, name, or title, those that do are mission specialists that do not see front-line combat, who are heavily obscurificated, and removed from directly commanding their respective squadrons. These individuals are the backbone of operations and disseminate information to operatives who execute the mission in groups of four or five. Due to their nature, should a mission end in failure, or operatives be captured they know little to nothing about the daily operations of the organisation.
